Description of Work: They replaced one small valve/gauge on our water heater. Part cost approx $20-40. The rest was 20 minutes labor. Guy would not stop trying to upsell me a new WH. Obnoxious. "Flat rate" labor cost was a total rip-off.

Description of Work: I have commented on this in the past and I find it peculiar that this was not addressed. This was a pre-paid situation in which Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was paid $79.00 to come out and do a camera of a plumbing line and also clean out one "drain." The man came out in a timely manner and stated that to do the camera inspection would cost more as well as cleaning and refused to do anything. He stated Benjamin Franklin Plumbing did not make any money on these deals and that Angie's List basically got the fee. I requested then that my money be refunded as I didn't need a plumber to come out and tell me he wasn't going to do anything!!!! Would anyone schedule a visit for that? I thought I would have my kitchen drain cleaned out as a preventative and wound up with nothing. Will never use them again. I would have to go back in my banking statements to give you a better timeline as to the date of service.

Description of Work: Installed a 'hot water' re-circulation pump to speed up flow of hot water to locations in the house a far distance from the hot water heater. While the pump worked and hot water circulated faster, the cold water faucets seemed always lukewarm. We found out two years later during a remodel the reason for the 'cold' water issue was because the Ben Franklin plumber incorrectly installed a 'second valve' or part in a second area of the water circuit. Apparently this is not endorsed by the manufacturer and was installed incorrectly. The remodel plumber removed the second device. Now, the hot is hot and the cold is cold.

Description of Work: He came over to identify a sink faucet leak and another faucet that was not turning all the way off. He had no interest in finding parts he just wanted to replace both for some bloated charge of around $600 and I buy the faucets. I got the batch faucet repaired the next week for $130 and I repaired the other myself so this was a waste of money.
