I wasn't impressed with the service because he spent most of the time trying to sell expensive services rather than addressing the problem at hand. In fact, all he did was run the dishwasher.

I'd give them A's all the way around. I would definitely use them again. They did a great job. This guy was an honest and straightforward kind of guy. He came out and did not try to make extra money in all that he could have. He did excellent work. He was very thorough and described very quick what the issue was. He was very good.

They were very responsive, professional and efficient. We got great service and value - and we would use them again.

Way overpriced. Our outside faucet was leaking badly. We called Ben Franklin because of a coupon. They charged us almost $500 for a simple replacement. Total with coupon was approximately $450. This company charges a hefty price just to come to your house. Then there is a minimum labor charge. You will owe approximately $150 before they ever start work.

Fast. Courteous. Professional.

They are good and punctual, but I think a little expensive.

Robert was punctual, professional, and clearly very experienced and knowledgable. He made short work of the problem, going above and beyond in the process. And it was a Sunday! Next time I need a plumber I know who to call.

The plumber on site installed a toilet we purchased. They informed me that at times these particular toilets can run or leak, but not to worry as any adjustment will be covered by the warranty. The toilet does run on occasion, so I called to schedule the warranty work. Everything seemed fine until the morning the work was scheduled when I received a call stating the plumbing manager all the sudden says it's not warranty work and I'll have to be charged a trip fee and a fee to fix it. Train your staff to verify what's covered. Anyone using them, don't trust what they claim is covered in site.

I'd give them all 9's or all 10's. They are great. They get all A's. I worked with several plumbers and they are, by far, the best. They do exceptional job. They have attention to detail. They tell you exactly what they're going to do before they do it. They tell you exactly how much it's going to cost. There are no surprises. They are really, really good. I probably used them for four or five times.

A leak from the condo above mine caused ceiling damage. The leak was a result of plumbing repairs gone badly. BFP took full responsibility and repaired the damage at no cost.

Called them in an emergency situation very prompt but we paid for it in the price. They took advantage of us, will never use them again. They even "recommended" another clean up company that tried to charge outrageous prices for clean up and repair, we finally got someone we could trust to not charge way above market rate.

I wanted the wax ring on a toilet replaced. I was presented with a "package" of work that included what I wanted done. There was no ala carte option. I had to take everything which was more costly than anticipated or what it should have been. I had another provider available that said it should cost no more than $150. Granted I was only going to save about $50 but that is not something to be ignored. After all, isn't that why we buy these Big Deals? To save money? If I didn't take the package, I would be charged for the service call..which would've been less than the Big Deal I purchased [$99 for $200 of plumbing services] but I would've gotten NOTHING for my investment in the Deal. I didn't/ don't fault the service man as he was only the messenger, tho he certainly KNEW of my displeasure. He did provide the services in the package. Angie's List needs to make it known what one is buying into with "Deals" so members aren't left in these situations. In short---Caveat Emptor

Phil quickly diagnosed problem, explained the problem and my options (including costs), and repaired water heater. He has excellent repair and customrr service skills.

Amazing work! He actually cleaned up after himself. What a guy!

We had Mark Masters Plumbing come out to do the work. The total charge was $89.

I purchased a Big Deal for this company to service a rental property out of state. I called the company to confirm the purchase and provide the confirmation number. They refused to provide the service unless I could provide a full print out of the Big Deal information, even though I had a confirmation code for the purchase. They were inflexible even when I explained that I live out of state and don't have a way to quickly provide my tenant with a copy of the deal.

The service was fine. The technician who came out for an estimate/inspection was nice.

It went perfect, they showed up when they were supposed to and kept me informed.

I had used them once before and they were good. Their estimate for the hot water heater was pretty expensive for what they wanted to do. We still have not done it. We were just getting estimates. They were real nice and came in and explained everything. They were fine. I was very surprised at how expensive it was. He kept telling me that it was a different kind, kind of like going to a major home improvement chain store. That is previously what we used before and we never had a problem with it or anything. I was just kind of wondering, other than they were just a private company that would come out. Mostly what I am going by is price. Their responsiveness was good; they called and everything. His professionalism was real good. When I used them before I think I used the for a drain cleaning. That's why I was very surprised. When I used them before, the first time, they were very reasonable and did a good job.

No service was performed, just an estimate given for repairs so I have no knowledge of the quality of their work. It was a waste of time and money for me because I believe their prices to be excessive. Example: Replace a single water shutoff valve for lavatory under the sink-$223. Plumber suggested all in the house needed to be replaced (19 total) and he would do them all for the price of 8 ($1784). Another was the plastic drain under the kitchen sink leaked when the disposal put pressure on it. I fixed it with two gaskets from Home Depot for less than $5, they wanted $117.

Service was okay, but cost of services we planned were too high for us to afford.

It was fine. Their prices are a little high but other than that, they did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. They told me upfront what it was going to be.

It's okay. I called them and they showed up within a week. I didn't have any complaints. The guy who came was professional. He helped me with what I needed. I didn't have any problems. I already recommended them to my sons. It's a little expensive. He didn't charge me more. Whatever I paid, it's what is covered on the service.
