They were professional, responsive and punctual. They did a very good job and I was satisfied with their service. I ended up signing up for a year?s contract with them.

My kitchen drain backed up and a guy from Benjamin Franklin showed up to fix it. He explained that he was going to use a sewer snake to unclog my drain. I had just done this a few day prior, but despite my skepticism he did it and the drain unclogged. I waited 5 months to complete this review to see if it backed up again and I am proud to report that it hasn't so kudos to them on that front. My three main problems were the 'upsell' pressure, the pressure on the homeowner not to do anything themselves, and the price. 1. After he hit my drain with the sewer snake he started going on about flushing the drain with high pressure water or using chemicals to really clean it out. After indicating that I was not currently interested he kept bringing up these treatments during the conversation. Also at the end he tried to sell me on this Benjamin Franklin loyalty plan thing. 2. When he mentioned the pressure wash / chemicals I asked about picking up lye or other chemicals at Home Depot and doing it myself. He started telling me that the chemicals sold at Home Depot don't work. According to him the only chemicals that work have to be purchased through a plumber. Really? I mean c'mon? Rather than wait for me to ask if I could use my pressure washer to flush out the system he preempted the question by telling me that plumbers had certain 'techniques' they used so Joe Public would be wasting their time trying to flush their system with a power washer. Hmmm... 3. Last (and most importantly) $250 seems REALLY steep to run a snake down a drain a few times, which is really all they did. I should note that I didn't get an estimate until he showed up and I agreed to the $250 charge so it wasn't as though I was being taken advantage of. Overall 6 / 10 He got the job done and it's still going strong after 5 months, but the price seemed really high and having my intelligence insulted with regard to these mystery chemicals was not good.

The whole process was great. I called the mesquite office and setup an appointment. The technician arrived on-time. He was very professional and courteous. The installation went as planned and was complete in about an hour. I would definitely hire this company again for any of my plumbing needs.

They put in some new drains stops in the master bathroom bath. They were excellent. They came in the same day I called them. They took an hour to do the job.

We had used them 3 or 4 times. We were satisfied with their service the first few times but recently they charged $400-$500 just to get the commode unplugged. We thought that was expensive. They were on time and they came out on the same day.
