I called this company on Friday for a Saturday appointment and was offered three timeframes. I picked the one in the middle of the day. I had to leave work early on Saturday in order to be here for the appointment. Thirty minutes before they were to show up I was called by the company and was told I would have to move my appointment to a later time or a different day. Due to my schedule I was not able to slip the time or the date. They couldnt make their appointment so I wasted a half day of vacation. Their $5 per minute late guarantee I guess doesn't apply to a complete cancellation. I will not be doing any business with this company in the future.

Overall, the experience went okay. The plumber was on time, courteous, and everything was good except their price was very high. I paid $59 for the estimates, but the estimate for the work was way overpriced. I decided to go with another company.

I liked their punctuality and availability. They did a good job. They were easy to schedule. The person who came out was very friendly and very professional. They did a good job explaining and also guaranteed their work. They were fairly priced too. I was very happy with their service.

They arrived on time, gave an price to repair, and I okayed to repair. The job took about and hour. They did not damage the hedge, AND they cleaned the area. They replaced the faucet with a new one, plus a new handle. I have not had any more problems with the faucet since that time. However, I still think the price was a bit too high. I definitely would use them again..

They were very negative about my ability to find the type of fixture I described to them, and I finally had to tell the most negative guy that I had found 10 on the internet the day before. Then they cautioned me against having an undermount sink, which is what I was planning. Then when we went into the kitchen so I could write them a check for the service call, they saw my cast iron sink mounted under my granite counter. They proceeded to tell me how the adhesive would fail at some point and when the sink drops it will rip out my water line. Totally freaked me out. It turns out that they were wrong. I had a kitchen designer and counter installer check my sink, when getting new counters for my bathrooms. There's no way for it to fall. And I got the work that they quoted me $1000 on, done for under $400 by a great and professional plumber. This place is a big rip off. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing showed up promptly for same day service and then quoted us $180 dollars a piece to replace 4 valves. We showed them an invoice that we just had the toilets replaced at $65 a piece a month earlier. They would not adjust their fee despite just paying 1/3 the fee for the same service a month earlier. We also asked that the $59 service fee be used toward stopping the leaking faucet. They said no. We then asked them to leave due to their pricing is out of line for the service provided. They charged us $59 to come out to get pricing that they would not give over the phone. I would use caution using this company. ** Update..after calling.. I called and complained about the $59 service call. They indicated that they would mail back the voided check. They pushed that they are concerned about customer satisfaction. The refund makes me just think that you should have a estimate of cost before you have any plumber out if you can define the problem.
