Great Job!!! I bought the $111 for $200 coupon, and ended up getting what would have cost me $278 for $140. The technician (Corey) had fabulous manners and did a fast, wonderful job. I normally try to go with local providers, but I had used this company before, and knew that they could get out quickly, even though it wasn't an emergency. I called in the late afternoon on Tuesday and they were out Wednesday morning. I definitely will keep using them for my plumbing needs.

I don't have any complains to the quality of the job. The issue is the price of their service. Ange's Big Deal, or any other similar service,is a trap to tie you to a specific service provider. One would be better off getting any plumber from the list and asking for a free quote.

He did a very thorough and excellent job. Got everything to work properly. He was courteous, thorough and very professional. Best plumber I have used to date.

I purchased the $99 special offered through Angie's List for $200 of plumbing services to have the drain from the washing machine cleaned. The appointment was set for the next day. They called the next day and said they had a plumber free if I wanted him early. Excellent! When he arrived he looked at the drain and quoted $199 to auger the drain. He asked if there is an access door to the drain. There is not. He determined he would have to go up on the roof and run the auger down the vent pipe to break up what ever was slowing the drain and that was an additional $198.00. Now we are up to $399 to clean out a drain. After several unsuccessful attempts to get the auger down to the clog he gave up. He said that there was an obstruction that did not allow the auger to reach the clog. He suggested that I set up an appointment for a "camera line" to go down the pipe and view the blockage for an additional $429. If there was a severe blockage, they would probably have to jackhammer the floor to get to it. I was still charged the $200 that the Angie's List coupon covered even though the problem was not fixed. Now here is the kicker. My neighbor across the street saw the Benjamin Franklin truck and came over and asked me what I had fixed. I relayed the story to him and he asked if the plumber had tried to snake the drain from inside the house where the washer drained into the wall. I explained that he had not and why. The neighbor came back with a small hand held auger that was about 1/2 wide and 25 ft. long then proceeded to hand auger the pipe. He brought up a wad of lint that was causing the slow drain. The drain now runs without backing up. I am out the $99 I paid Angie's List for plumbing services that were not completed and the cost of dinner for the neighbor who actually fixed the problem.

Too pricey for my budget. I was so disappointed with getting ripped off by home repairs in my home that I joined Angie's list. I saw a Ben Franklin coupon $111 for $200 worth of work and listed under that coupon was replace faucet. So I thought I can afford that. I called and Ben Franklin gave me appointment the same day I called, arrived within the 2 hours time frame and plumber David was very professional and wore his shoe covers. He showed me the estimate up front and when I saw $315 to install faucet and $238 to snake drain I thought it was too expensive, but I had already taken off work and waited all day so I said just do the repairs. David did replace pvc pipes under my sink but they didn't need replacing. My son said sometimes plumbers replace piping because it is easier for them to work with. But I don't think I should pay for that. After that I called a few plumbers on Angie's list and they said $150-$200 for each was average which is closer to my budget.

The estimate that I got was more than what I thought it was going to be, so I am going with a different company.

Repair and replacement were simple and straight forward as the broken parts are screw in, I didn't know that. Brian, the technician, had the entire job finished in under a half an hour. He's very professional and explained my options and worst case issues before proceeding. I signed off on agreed process and am very pleased a how fast it all went. A little pricey but feel this level of service is worth the cost.

They were able to explain to me what was wrong and even knew how it happened. I had a tree planted near the sewer line and the machine was too heavy and cracked the pipe letting dirt slowly fill the sewer. They said they've seen it before.

There were many delays due to the problems with the attic and getting heaters in and out, and the lone plumber had to have helpers from time to time and there were scheduling problems. The install took longer than expected, even thought the plumber had taken a full inspection of the attic, access and old heater plumbing. I made no changes to the original order and the price was exactly as quoted. I noted the price was a little high, but agreed that I was getting the "best". Next plumbing company agreed the heaters were good quality, just not installed properly. After installing the heaters my kitchen and showers were clogged and gave no pressure. Plumber told me was a problem with the faucets, not with debris from the new water heaters being changed. I know shutting off and draining old pipes leads to a lot of loose scale coming out, I was the one running around taking off faucet filters and running bathtubs. Plumber was not able to properly clean my delta kitchen faucet, claiming it was too complicated (it is a touch on off one). I consistently got the impression that the poor man was out of his depth and floundering. After a few months of little water and problems I called another

Would def do this again if I had any plumbing issues.

Then three days later it all backed up again I had a thirty day warranty and I called them on June2nd on a Sunday to come back They said they were book the whole day they can come Monday but couldn't give me any time frame the first time i used them they told me when they will be here but I guess not with a warranty I asked them where it said so on the work sheet. I told them to forget it and I got someone else 123 afew minutes later they called me back and said they can come right now I told them to forget as I got someone else i would like my money back I guess when u pay them they r nice and come out but if you are under a warranty they don't care at all

The technician, Cory, was very courteous and efficient. It was a straight-forward job. When i called to schedule this job, I had a newspaper coupon and thought a drain clean would not be a big deal. When the cost for this job was quoted, it took my breath away. I asked if it helped to be an Angie's List member. He told me about a $200 coupon on line. This coupon cost $111' but lowered the cost . Cory did a good job. He also quoted replacing a toilet which I would provide00. It was much higher than i ever thought. I am speechless at this cost. I really would like to know why a simple job is so high.

He said toilets need to be replaced. They charge $500 per toilet (includes toilet) which is WAY off the normal cost. I'm having someone else do that. They had to order a part for the shower. I had purchased a $99.00 coupon for 2 hours of plumbing work on Angie's List. They said after the coupon is applied I'd owe around $50. When they came out to install it they were 10 minutes late. They give you $5 for every minute they are late so I was a wash......Not bad. Over all they were professional and I'd use them again if I had another coupon.

Work was done quickly and professionally. I don't like their pricing structure. If you have three items for them to do then they will quote each item separately which runs up their bill significantly. I prefer to work with a plumber who will do all the work by the hour.

The price was a little expensive but the job was great. They showed up when they said they would and they were very professional. We will use them again in the future.

I did not hire them for the job waaay to expensive, especially after learning from other companies, that job normally starts at about $65-$70, and if something else was needed then we could go from there.

They remembered to bring the tools and chemicals to keep the scale out from my water heaters. They scheduled a time and even got out a little bit early to come do that for me. They charged me nothing for this visit or for any previous year’s maintenance. I don’t even have to remember to call them, they call me! They’re really very good.

Very Dissatisfied with their pricing.

The plumber arrived on time, worked until he got the sink draining again and did a good job of leaving the bathroom clean.

Overall it went great. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything in simple terms that I could understand. He was mindful of my time and my home (he wore booties in the house).

They do a good job, but you pay what I consider to a premium price.

Don't but coupon deal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not real value..... estimate last week $99.....this week , $189.00 same thing. Actual savings would have only been $10........so 5% not 50%......

John was great and did everything he could to make sure we were happy

It has been several months since we had Chuck out so I can't give a start to finish review but I was very happy with the service and work performed. He was professional, clean, on time, courteous, informative without being pushy with the sales pitch. The work was performed and problem fixed. I don't remember actual cost and don't want to dig through all my receipts to find it just to finish the review but I don't recall that the cost was a problem or seemed unreasonable. If so, I think I would have registered that and decided that I would not use them again. I would definitely call out Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again and have that same technician in my home.

When the representative showed up and I explained what needed to be done, he declined to do the service because he thought the projects were small enough to have my husband do them. We ended up finding someone else to help us out.
