It went real well. I paid an additional $70. They were very courteous. He came out and he did what I asked him to do. I didn't have any issues. The work looks good. They were here on time and I didn't have any issues with that.

He was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. He recommending replacing the toilets which I hadn't considered before, but I don't regret it a bit. It was totally the right decision.

Solved the problem-which was not what I thought.

We did not select this provider to do the work, but they were competitive in all matters.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. They were great. This was my first time using them. They were very polite and very prompt. They scheduled the appointment right away and they showed up when they said they would. The shower works great now, I haven't had any issues ever since. the price seemed like a good deal to me.

He arrived within minutes...for a plumber...unheard of! He was courteous and went right to work. He discovered that my assumption of the garbage disposal going bad was wrong. It was the electrical plug/outlet causing the issue. As a result, the electrician will arrive shortly and all will be solved. This is truly a SERVICE not a come on for more money than you plan to spend.

Plumber was prompt and professional. I love that you can call Ben Franklin and they come out almost immediately. Price quotes for the above three items left me breathless. The price quotes were expensive. But, I did have them come back to repair the guest bath leak and drain in master bath. I was told by the plumber to replace the entire kitchen faucet (rather than fix the leak) and my son was able to do that. I have had them come back for another repair as know they will get the job done. But, still find them to be costly.

The service I got from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing wasn't really what I had in mind. They just kind of came over and looked at all my problems, but they weren't fixing them. They told me I needed to get everything fixed, but I already kind of knew what was broken. I didn't read the coupon, honestly, very well. So they just came over. It said $99.00 for a plumber to come. I bought one in the past, for like two hours of plumbing work. But everything I showed them, they were like, "It will be $1,000.00 to fix that. It will be $500.00 to fix that. It will be $300.00 to fix that." I'm like, "Okay. Are you guys going to fix that today?" And they said, "Oh, no, this is just a - where they just kind of come over. I thought they would come over and unclog a drain that I had clogged and they were like, "No, it will be $150.00 to do that." They were prompt and quick in getting back to me. They called me on the weekend to set up a time, so all that stuff was awesome. It was just not what I thought it was. The prices seemed a little high, for what I had in mind. Everything they did was good. I just thought it was a different service.

Plumber was on time and extremely professional and helpful. He left me a sheet that outlines their rates, which seem a little high, but I would probably use them again due to knowledge and professionalism. At least you know up front what the cost will be - I like that.

Excellent service by professsional plumber-prompt and courteous-routine repair when you have the right tools and expertise to do so...

We were having tile work at the same time so he came back the next day to set the toilet. Mark was very professional and courteous.

He was very punctual, friendly and got the job done as requested.

I showed the plumber what the inspection report said about both bathrooms. I told the plumber that my husband thought the master bathtub faucet needed a new washer but my husband did not have the right tool to do it. I advised the plumber I was a member of Angie's List but that I had not purchased the $111 for $200 worth of services yet because I was not sure that it would cost that much. I told the plumber that if it was going to be that much I would purchase the deal right away. The plumber assured me that it wasn't just the washer and the whole cartridge needed to be replaced. The plumber said it would cost more than $200. The plumber made me feel as if I was wasting his time and why would I not trust him, the professional. I know nothing about plumbing so I told him to get started on replacing the cartridge and I purchased the Angie's List deal. I then called my husband to tell him of the progress. My husband told me that he knew what the problem was and I ended up having him speak to the plumber on the phone. The plumber told my husband several things and my husband second guessed himself. The plumber continued his work. Luckily my husband happened to be in the area for work and came to the location. My husband asked the plumber to put the faucet back together so he could show him the plumber. The plumber seemed to get upset but did put the faucet back together. My husband ended up showing the plumber what the problem was and the plumber did end up just putting a new washer in. The faucet worked great after that. I am going to give the plumber the benefit of the doubt that he was not trying to rip us off and genuinely did not think it was the washer, but if it had been just me I would have overpaid for services that did not need to be performed. The plumber did check the water pressure in the other bathroom and wrote that the pressure was fine, which appeased the buyers. At the end the service was not $200 and we had a credit left over. By the way, my husband is not and has never been a plumber.

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to unclog a kitchen drain. After an hour or so of using the roto-rooter outside the house, the drain was still stopped up. The plumber then called his office and after discussion with his office told me that the only way they could unclog the drain was by cutting a hole in the wall, or going up on the roof to unclog it from above. He further indicated that he could not go up on our roof because it was too steep. I said there was no way I was going to allow him to cut a hole in our wall. Ultimately he concluded that he had done all he could and that I would have to call a plumber who was willing to go up on the roof to solve the problem. We then called a second plumber. The second plumber asked if the first plumber had checked anything under the kitchen sink. We said he had not. The second plumber then went under the sink with a roto-rooter and resolved the problem in a matter of a few minutes. While the $99 dollar Angie's coupon to unclog a drain is a good price, in my case it turned out to be a total waste of time and money and I would like a refund.

My experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing worked out pretty well. They do a good job, but they're as expensive as all get-out. The thing is, you don't ever have to call them back. That's why I keep using them, although I have found another plumber I like better. The thing that stands out with them is the fact that you don't have to call them back, when they do the work. They do A+ work, but you're definitely paying a premium. I have used other plumbers that are not as expensive, but you always end up calling them back, so you end up paying the same amount, almost. I kept using them because I didn't really have a better alternative.

They came within a couple hours of calling and fixed it. They were very professional, quick, and accurate. We felt it was good price.

As far as I know, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing did a good job, but we thought they were quite expensive. They couldn't quote on what it would cost to do the job until they would see what they had to do and I understand that, but my husband and I have been living here for 25 years and we used a particular plumber for a very long time and they retired so this is only our second experience with a new plumber and we are happy with the work. I bought a coupon and I am not sure I actually saved any money.

Did what was required and timely

Quick, easy and straight to the point. He was in and out in 45 mins.

He uncloged sink quickly , he cleaned up after hiimself. He was not aware of of prices for waterheater and made a guess. He didn't want to fix toilet just replace it.

It was kind of convoluted in a way because the ad that I called about was in a different part of town and they referred me to someone closer, but they normally don't take those coupons. They went ahead and did the coupon, but I was kind of surprised at how much they charge, as far as the services go. They did good work, for what they did, but it wasn't cheap. They pretty much knew what they were doing and they fixed the stuff that needed to be fixed. They were on time, of course, I guess that's their thing. But, other than that it seemed a little high to me. It was basically, you paid $100 to get $200 worth of service, and, just one thing that they did was over $200. I wasn't actually here when they came by, my wife was, but from everything that she told me she was happy with them. I haven't had a plumber for a long time, so I guess I might have sticker shock, but to me the price was pretty high. They were here when they said they would be.We did ask them about our water heater and they did suggest that we just go ahead and wait for about a year or so before we do it, because, for them to actually do some of the things it would cost about another water heater. At least they were honest about that. When I talked to them on the phone we had several different things that we wanted them to do and they were honest and gave a good opinion, I think. I would use them again only with coupons.

I called and they were able to come out. When they arrived, they said the price for them to do the work would be $328.00. I already had another price from another company of $140.00. I called the office after they were at my home to ask for a supervisor to ask about the price. They said someone would call me but I have never heard from them. I went with the other company instead.

On time. Checked my water heaters which, not surprisingly, he suggested I replace. Gave me a quote. They use Rheem and I am in the process of checking that brand out.
