Serviceman came out and gave me a quick quote and a list of what was needed. He was very professional and friendly. I have not hired them yet, but will shortly. On a side note, the customer service people that contacted me after I submitted a question, were the most friendly people I have ever spoken with and I would rate them an A++. I don't remember their names, but they were extremely friendly and happy to speak with me and set up a time for an in home estimate visit.

This was a big deal purchase and it was fine. They came out a week or two after I called them. It was a great price. The quality was fine; he did a lot of work for that price.

These guys were great but they no longer do business in San Antonio.

Terrible. They didn't they were going to rip me off and charge me twelve hundred to five thousand dollars and I got the problem fixed for three hundred dollars. They thought that maybe they could fix the leak in my yard but they thought it would cost twelve hundred dollars but he thought it would be better to maybe do a whole line replacement and charge me five thousand and then the next day I had a different plumber come and he fixed it for three hundred dollars.

Right on time, professional & thorough review. Have every confidence that his assessment and estimate were fair and accurate - unfortunately turned out to be more money than we are willing to spend at the moment. Should we decide to move forward on this, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing will definitely be our choice to implement; also for any other issues that may arise. Totally satisfied with the whole experience, from scheduling to assessment to followup. Just couldn't justify the cost at this time!

Very well! The plumber was knowledgeable, his truck was well equipped and the work was completed in less than a half hour. Good value for the work performed.

Saved about 150 through Angie's list. The plumber they sent was very inexperienced, was going to disassemble my under counter drain until i pointed out my outside clean out. Not too swift.

Fantastic. The plumber, Chris Reaves, was very professional. He educated us on several things that impacted the problems we were having. I typically do not trust plumbers because I have been burned in the past before: poor service, expensive cost, lack of respect, etc. I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin. I will use them again, and I will specifically ask for Chris Reaves by name.

Faulty parts were replaced; no more leaking. Plumber also called in a water damage specialist to determine the extent of any water damage. No significant water damage was found and the examination was free.

Quick and simple. Tenant had flushed a toy down the toilet.

I called the company after purchasing a $25.00 off a regular service charge offer. I told them I thought the fill valve might need to be replaced. The plumber arrived as scheduled on 7/13/16. He said both the fill valve and float flapper needed to be replaced. He had to go to the shop to get the specialty flapper. The subtotal of service charges was $340.00, less a coupon for $50.00, which I did not even have, plus a service /travel fee of $25.00 all totaled to amount due of $315.00. I think the company should have advised me of a better deal, as I have frequently used their services.

When they first came to find the leak, it was obvious it was under ground in the pipe coming out of the house where the faucet is. He said we needed to dig up the ground until we reached where the pipe came out of the brick. He wanted to charge $1100 to dig up the hole!! I declined that outrageous charge, and had another guy dig the hole up for $300. Once the pipe was exposed, I had Benjamin Franklin come back and do the repair. He did an excellent job on the repair, and being that I used the coupon that I got here on Anglie's list, it was very reasonably priced! I will call them again, but I will not allow them to do any digging! I will give them an A for price, but only for the actual plumbing. F on digging.

They service the whole metroplex. It is true they have their own guys and their own trucks unlike a lot of companies that call upon a pool of contractors.

For some reason the kitchen sink was not connected to a drain under a rental property we own. I had a handyman tell me what the problem was but he was too booked to get to it. I called Ben Franklin because I had used them before on my own home. David came out this morning and crawled under the house. He came back with a quote of $5475 to do the work and said it would take all day. He was asked to leave. I called Texas Plumbing and they did the job in 2 hours for 642.10! Beware calling Ben Franklin. They might be good at what they do but they will charge you TEN TIMES what another plumber will.

Todd was on time and very professional. He let us know up front what the problem was and what was required to fix it. We had bought the $89 for $200 coupon which took care of everything except $23. Great value for services performed. Todd also gave us some valuable advice about how to deal with a problem in the kitchen. When I need a plumber I will ask for Todd.

Juan and Jeremy were just fantastic. It took them quite a bit of time and effort to remove stuck, rusted faucet and install the new one that I provided. They were so pleasant and professional. With the Angie coupon this cost me only $115. It would have normally cost upwards of $300. There is a one year warranty on the work! Based on my experience, I give this company an A.

The job went very well. They discovered that the clog was further down the pipe and cleared it out.

They came out to troubleshoot heater on time, technician was very professional. He found that the heater needed a new gas regulator for which they do not supply. He recommended I go order one and they would come back to install for $369.00. With the age of the heater being 9 years old and the amount of time to get part and not to mention my renter being without hot water that would not make sense. He said they could replace the heater the next day for $1699.00. Which is about 3 times what an average heater costs less installation cost. I believe they know they have you over a barrel and take advantage of that. I replaced it the next day for under $600..

Terrible. My husband called to set up an appointment. After explaining what we needed, very simple, after a bit of mumbling, the office 'wasn't able to exactly say'. When they arrived we discovered why. The charge for a 30 or 45 minute service was over $300. More than the cost of the disposal. And not a bad hourly wage. Do not use this business. The F ratings I see here are accurate.

Jeremy was knowledgeable and extremely helpful.The company business model is a throwback to the days when the customer satisfaction was the main order of business. I can very, very strongly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. While looking at the AC drain, he discovered that the last company had left the exhaust vent off of the water heater. Very dangerous and he fixed it. I highly recommend these folks.
