He drained the area to see where the leak was. His cost to replace parts and fix the issue was approx $1,500. However, he "recommended" and was eager to provide a quote for replacing all of the exterior piping from the city meter to the house for $4,600. He said if he couldn't get under the driveway we'd have to dig that up at an additional cost. We had a coupon from Angie's List for the cost of the service call ($59). We said we wanted to get another estimate. So he unplugged his water pump from OUR electrical outlet and gave us a bill for $200. When asked what the $200 was for (since no actual work or repair was done), he said that anytime he "takes tools out of the truck" there's a charge. So I reviewed the invoice we received and while there are levels /prices for "repairs", the amount we were charged was listed, but draining water from a hole wasn't listed. I called the office and got the company line - "that's what he listed as the price and work done." I'm just wondering if he also listed his work as smoking a cigarette, talking on his phone and having a drink while sitting in his truck? I doubt it! What he did was within that service call cost - figure out the initial problem in order to write up an estimate for the cost of repair. So we should have paid $59. We ended up getting it repaired for $450!!!

Very well. The plumber worked outside and I waited inside for him to finish the job and provide me the findings. He was very thorough in determining just where the partially broken pipe is--whether on my property or City property. Advised me of approximate cost to repair. Also advised me that the less toilet tissue that does down the pipe, the longer I can expect to be able to use this sewer broken pipe which I will eventually have to have replaced.

Came on time, was very professional and punctual. Seemed very knowledgable as well. He gave estimates on things that needed improvements and the prices were very high. That said the reason is they have an outstanding warranty.

The prices are very high!! We had three items to be done and we were only able to get two done for the $200 value deal. Even though we had all of the parts, the two items came within $20 or so of the total so no money left to replace the kitchen faucet. We have not had a problem with either toilet they repaired. I'm sure we will not use these folks again due to the high prices unless we could get anther "Angie's List Deal".

He was very professional and we were happy with the punctuality and service. What I was not happy about was that I purchased a service call from Angie's list but then learned that the service charge would have been waived anyway, so I wasted that money. So I did not feel like I got any "deal" from Angi's list. This had nothing to do with the provider, I would use them again. I just would not buy the "deal" to do it.

They advertised CLEARLY on Angie's Big Deal Coupon that they service COLLIN county which I am in. But they now say they don't come out here. I bought this because their coupon says Collin County!

Very well. The faucet didn't need replacing, but our garbage disposal was leaking, so while they were here, they were able to replace it.

The technician was not able to find a problem with the hot water re-cycler, which was the reason he was called out. He did however, replace a recalled part on our tank less water heater. The problem I have with this, is that we were never contacted to have the recalled part replaced. If it had not been for the service call we initiated, we would not have gotten this important recalled part replaced. I find this very disturbing as just 2 days ago a neighbor's tank less hot water heater fell through the ceiling due to this recalled part. This company should have called all parties that have this model to replace the recalled part. Why they did not is very confusing.

They did the work for a BIG price.

The faucet they installed was just like one I had installed, which I was not happy with. The faucet has the water come out quickly and I have to put it at a certain pressure to have it not come out between the water and soaker hose. When I first turned on the new faucet, it sprayed all over me. I was told this is the type of faucet you have to have now. I had a friend come back out and installed something to keep the pressure down, but that did not work. I wish I had my old faucet back. I was not satisfied with what they did. I am having someone come out and install a drip system to remedy the problem.

He had to remove bricks to get to the pipes. He did so but replacing the bricks was not in the deal. So I am with a new faucet but with black tape around the hole where the bricks were. Now I need someone to replace the bricks.

It went well and the job was done quickly. The person who came was extremely professional and polite for that time of night. Of all the plumbing companies that offers 24 service this was the only one available and who treated the job as if it was day time in the middle of the week.

Very professional and intelligent young man. Explained everything he was doing in detail! I learned more than I ever thought possible about plumbing, LOL! As a widow, I wanted to make sure I wasn't being "taken for a ride",;this experience was definitely above suspicion!

I wanted him to do a video drain cleaning but he did not do this. All he told me was to call back if it was plugged in.

The serviceman came out as promised. However, the type of faucet I had was an upgrade from what they were servicing in this offer. In addition, I had other repairs that he felt would be $1,450.00 that had to be done to even allow water to the faucet in question. That was and is not in the budget at this time. I am left with a broken faucet.

We have seen their van in the neighborhood this summer, but BF has never contacted me. The message we received from Angie's List after signing up said BF would contact us soon. We are still waiting.

The plumber cleaned out the drain and stayed to help me clean the shower head that I was working on.

Technician showed up on time, went to work and completed the task quickly. The visit was brief, focused and the technician was cordial and helpful.

They were okay. The pricing was reasonable. I would recommend them. They were very professional. He came by and told me what they found and what they did.

I would never call anyone but Benjamin Franklin for plumbing. I had a major leak which occurred when installers misinstalled a washing machine. They knew I had an emergency and responded accordingly. I have used several of Benjamin Franklin's associates and fully intend on asking for one in particular the next time but never remember who it was, but have always been pleased with who ever arrives. I trust them completely and recommend them when I have the opportunity.
