scheduling was straightforward. plumber arrived and I showed him two small items I needed taken care of. One was a leaking line from the sink water valve to the spigot. He took a look at the 500 dollar faucet and said it needed replaced because the lines were proprietary and he had no way of knowing what to use. I told him it was grohe. He didn't seem interested. funny thing is that I had the line replaced 7-8 years earlier and it didn't seem to be an issue of a proprietary line. oh well. 2nd thing was the toilet that ran too much. its a Toto. fairly standard I imagine. he pulled out his rate book and said it would be $200 dollars to get it to stop running. I told him I had bought an angieslist coupon and he was unaware of that and wanted to see it. it and $89 coupon for $200 dollars service. $89 to fix a running toilet is ridiculous but since he wouldn't address the other issue, it worked out OK. But come on guys, $89 dollars for a $15 dollar part and 10 minutes of work? He replaced the lifter with a generic lifter (so it was actually less than $15) and it almost immediately didn't work properly. I called Ben Franklin and they came out to look at it and confirmed, "yeah we need to replace it with a Toto lifter." I was told it would be "Tuesday or Wednesday" until they could get the part and get back out. It's now Friday, two weeks after my initial appointment and my toilet is not fixed. Ben Franklin in my estimation is overpriced and not real accurate or thorough. I expected more.

Came early (called first to OK).Showed a set price of $389 to install dishwasher. I told him that that was crazy high and that I didn't want him to install. He called his office to inquire about how to get refund from Angie's. He gave me 888#-filled paperwork-waived trip charge-and was on his way. Very nice guy. PS Called Sears and they are installing for $134.99. $254 cheaper than BF. Yikes!

In my opinion it went very well. I now know there is a more in depth issue with my toilets and will get them addressed. My technician was very detailed and showed me as well as provided an in-depth explanation. What I have is old, out of date and corroded. I will request Mr. Sanchez when I can schedule the repair/replacement

He fixed both toilet issues with no problem. He was very quick and efficient. I appreciated the fact that he did not bring up any additional charges that I did not need.

It worked out great but they were expensive for this particular small job. Scheduling was very easy. I was impressed with how they arrived on time.

Scheduling was no problem and they were able to accommodate my needs. He came out at 2 p.m. and worked till 5 p.m. He did very good work.

When we called to schedule they were able to come out the following day. They were very nice and punctual. It seemed kind of expensive. We were pleased with his appearance and manner. He was helpful and told what to keep an eye out for.

He did an excellent job. He was very professional. It was one technician who did the work and he was done within 45 minutes. The leak he fixed outside was a simple solution which he showed me how to fix if it were to leak again which I thought was very helpful.

It couldn’t have gone better. Scheduling was easy and they were able to get me an appointment the next day. The technician was perfect; he wore booties over his shoes and cleaned up well.

It was done quickly and efficiently, he was about 30 minutes behind, though. He seemed a little new and didn't have all the tools he could have needed for other things. I also asked him to check on my water heater, and he didn't have whatever guage he needed to use to check it. Turned out all it needed was a thermostat adj on the heater. Altogether ok, though. No complaints

The service turned out okay. They were very prompt. They did everything. They were very professional, but they were just a little pricey.

They contacted about scheduling and I gave them a few times that they could come out. However, they never contacted me back.

There was no problem with the service provider, Ben Franklin plumbing. We have used them many times and always with excellent results. The problem was with the deal itself. The offer was misleading as it indicated a "tune up" would be done rather than just an inspection only.

It went great. The technician explained everything that he was doing and also advised ahead of time cost I could/would incur. I was very pleased with his promptness, explanation and service.

Service provider scheduled the service quickly. But their pricing is above our budget for the total work. We want to replace a shower valve and head, but their rate was $481 ($281 + $89 after discount) for total work, which I feel as high. So I cancelled their service.

The service that the provider provided on one of toilet was super.

It was good. They did the inspection and told me I needed a hot water heater. It's still working right now so I'm not replacing but they gave me an estimate. I would probably use them again if I had plumbing issues.

Very nice service representative but my jobs (two slow drains and one slightly running toilet)were estimated to cost a minimum of almost $1000. These drains have been cleaned before at a minimal cost but the plumber said they were done in a shoddy way and that their company only did qualilty work and would not do a job that would only get the drain working. Only replacement of the drains.

Everything was fine from scheduling to dealing with the representative who came out, until I got the estimate. The quote to install only (I provided the hardware) two bathroom faucets and replace the cartridge in a shower knob was just under $1,400. The C rating was half-way between an A for the company and an F for the estimate.

Courteous, covered his shows before coming into the house, explained what he was going to do and why. I will definitly use the compnay in the future. The purchase was a money-saver. Thanks for offering it!

Arrived on time. Performed replacement with no issues. Pleasant to deal with and professional in all manners. Would use again

Leaking water line valve for my icemaker....I'll do it myself and save money right? Nope, busted the copper line. Ben Franklin fixed the issue well. Professional work ain't cheap, but the problem got fixed.

We purchased an Angies Deal for a hose bib replavement for $69. He arrived on time. Our faucet was already frost free. He told us we could only replace it with another frost free one for an additional fee of $50. Then he said he would need to go into the brick for an additional fee of $150. He ended up not going into the brick. Not knowing anything about plumbing, I don't know if any of this was actually a good deal.

I have used them in the past but I would never use them again. My experience was they up-sell me. They have a plumber and a salesman all in one. They up-sell me like crazy. They did some fairly simple straightforward stuff that turned into just a ridiculous stuff. In the end, the work was shabby and I spent way too much money on it. The two valves that they replaced are with my washer and dryer valves. I eventually had somebody else redo those all over again.
