They fixed a toilet leak; they also had to put a ring on the floor. It was minor job and one technician came out to do the work. It took him a couple of hours. They did a great job for the price that they quoted me. That was the first time that I have used and I found them off of Angie’s List.

They showed up within the expected time window. The service person listened to my issue and concerns. They looked at the sink and verified that what I was seeing was correct and simple to fix. Then they explained how it could be corrected and showed me two options for replacement parts. The repair was completed and tested to my satisfaction.

Excellent job. David was prompt and courteous. Flapper replaced and all is well.

I purchased a coupon on Angie's List for : "Last Chance - $79 for Sewer or Interior Drain Cleaning with Camera Inspection" which probably saved me $308 if I paid for these separately. Anyway, the coupon supposedly was listed online for only one more day, so I bought it for immediate use although it did not expire until May 5, 2014. I called the local company around 1pm and after providing the information, they said they could send someone between 1-3pm. The phone was answered by Kaitland who was very pleasant and courteous. Art arrived around 1:30pm and assessed the situation. He wanted to see the coupon to see what it covered. He first got his camera probe (snake) and pushed it through the clean-out drain while watching the video. He saw what appeared to be a paper blockage which was unstopped by the camera probe. After flushing the line with clean water from the garden hose, he continued inspecting the sewer line pipe. This house was built in 1975 (38-years ago) and the old cast iron pipes were pretty rough on the inside. He suggested they be "Jet Washed" with a high pressure water probe (snake). I asked it that was included as part of the cleaning coupon, but he said that would be about $350 additional. I told him I thought the cleaning would entail the "mechanical roto-rooter" machine to scrape the pipe clean. He didn't say much, but went to his well equipped truck and brought out the "roto-rooter" machine with it's razor scraper end. It went down about 50 feet, and all is well for now. He said there are no guarantees on it not clogging again due to pipe age, but it has been over 15-years since the last occurrence. I told him I would consider the Jet Wash in the future if this repeats. He accepted the $79 coupon as payment in full. Art was cordial and professional and cleaned up afterwards. He was finished around 3pm and I gave him a $20 tip and told him to buy himself some lunch. Although I was skeptical about coupon deals, I decided to purchase my first Angie's list coupon after reading all the fine print. It turned out to be exactly what I needed and was a good experience for me. Just be sure you read the fine print.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did great. They were prompt and very clean. The plumber put on booties before he entered the house so he did not track anything in. He was efficient, quick and did a good job. He fixed everything and the price was very reasonable.

The technician ultimately did a fine job of replacing my faucet and all is working well. I don't have a problem with the work completed but have a few issues with this company's overall business practices. First, the technician spent nearly as much time trying to up sell me on the project at hand and with finding other potential problems around my house for me to spend more money on than on making the repair I hired them to do. I purchased a special offer for $200 but still ending up paying an additional $150 to have the faucet replaced and I provided the new faucet which I purchased at Lowes for about $100 because Franklin wanted to charge me $200+ for one. I may be wrong, but $350 to replace a faucet seems high to me. Ultimately I think my existing water pressure problem could have been fixed without replacing the whole faucet -- I did some checking on the internet and found a few recommendations that may have been cheaper to fix than having to purchase a new faucet. I was disappointed that other alternative solutions other than replacing the faucet were not presented. Granted, it was my choice to move forward with the replacement. Frankly, I didn't want to hassle with it anymore, just wanted my problem fixed. Bottom line is I don't think Angie's list members get any kind of a price break with this company's special offers, and I don't think they offer other lower cost alternatives to fixing a problem. Just my opinion. It took me about 2 weeks to get an appointment. I called several times and was told their computers were down. Never got a call back as they promised. On a positive, the technician was very prompt, even arrived early, which I appreciated very much.

They are my go to plumbing service. They are reliable, upfront with costs and always do the job right. Scheduling is fine, I can usually get someone out the same day or the following day.

It was great! He came and gave me a price before he started the work. I think it had cost me more than the coupon that I bought but we agreed to it. He did a great job and I was really happy with it. I like the way they tell you the cost before they will start the work. We had him to come out and do one thing. When he showed up, he was supposed to do some new plumbing but we had a clogged drain. So I told him for a change of work to get the the drain unclogged but he did both of it. It was a little bit more expensive and I was expecting that.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They did a great job and got my shower working properly. It worked out perfectly. It was for 2 hours of plumbing. Plumbers are always high. I wouldn't give them a ringing endorsement but I would use them again.

They gave us a two hour window for arrival and called 10 minutes before the earliest time given to inform us they were on the way. They charge by the job and not by the time spent here. They sent one man out to diagnose the problem and once they did that they had to wait around over half hour for the machine to clear the drain pipe to arrive from another job site. Once it arrived they had to find the drain from the toilets which was in the back of the house. They mistook one drain that was not the correct one in the front yard and they actually cut down a decorative hedge under our front window before they realized their error on the correct drain. Then they just left the hedge branches lying everywhere and weren't going to clear them up until my husband suggested they do that prior to the payment for their services. He had even taken a garbage can for them to dispose of the branches even though he had an injured foot in a boot from foot surgery. The grades I gave were low because of the Excessive Price of their service plus the time they were here was excessive for what they needed to do. It was Disruptive and Stressful because of the Destruction of our Property. Unless our toilet clogs up again, under their warranty of 90 days, for blockage of the line as long as nothing is put down the toilet that should not be I find it Highly Unlikey that we call them again unless they replace our front bush in our hedge! The call center wanted to know how we liked our service and we told them about the hedge bush destruction. We are awaiting a call from the company in response to our service. I will let you know what the outcome is regarding their Decency on covering the one bush replacement that was cut down Erroneously..

Benjamin Franklin Company is excellent: * great communication * on time * professional * courteous The technician arrived on time I showed him my gas log set and he suggested that I contact a fireplace company that installs gas logs -- that that company would have the parts (if needed) on their truck and would be able to complete the installation in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went very well. They had a very knowledgeable service kid and they were personable. The service person seemed to know what he was doing, but they were extremely expensive on their services. The Big Deal was not expensive, but I checked their prices for future work and they were extremely expensive.

It didn’t work out really good at all. It was a disappointment. I had pipes in my house and they set the water off. He installed an air tank but it didn’t help. I talked to their manager and had them de-install it. They checked a couple other things and they discovered some things and they blamed a faucet in my bathroom. The problem is, they charged me a minimum of $80 and I gave them the coupon and instead of getting $200 for what the deal was, I just got a service call and they never fixed anything. It was disappointing that they couldn’t fix the problem. It was a waste of money. When they turned the water off, he vented the water into the pipe and caused the water to flow to pan into the ceiling.

I purchased this because the toilet was running. They responded almost immediately. The toilet did not leak at that time. He came out and put in a part and a flapper but he kept asking if there was anything else I wanted fixed while he was here. I told him no about three times. He wanted to see the hot water tanks and I told him they were fine. Then he asked again if there was anything else I needed done. I said no. I paid him and he left. That night the toilet started leaking. My husband tried to fix it and could not so I called them again and another man came out on the weekend and this time it cost around $ 275.00. He did really good work and was very nice. I just know we did not have a leak until they came out the first time. He said it had nothing to do with the work done by the first man. I have no way to dispute that but it works fine now and it was expensive. My original coupon from Angies List was $ 25.00. I would not use them again.

It went great. I bought an Angie's List Deal, $89.00 for $200.00 worth of service. I was very pleased with the service representative and his work.

Everything was average and it worked out fine. It is still working. The quality of their work seems to be okay. It was a big deal purchase. I would probably not use them again in the future because I have started comparing prices and they are quite a bit higher than anybody else.

After the receiving a written estimate...I found the amount quite excessive and told the representative that we had no further business. I think Angie's List should apply my payment to another vendor. I have seen Angie's current offer for $29. Toilet Tune-ups. Please let me know if you can apply my unused $89. toward 3 Toilet Tune-ups at $29. each? Thank you.

Both toilets are working great. I am very pleased with the service provided.

The provider was well mannered, very informative and quite nice. He took his time and explained things in detail. He wore protective shoe covers and cleaned up well. Very nice experience. I think they toilet they quoted was a bit high, but he said I could get the necessary items and they would install.

I was called 1/2 hour before arrival and told that the tech would be there. He was on time, wore protective booties, was done with the repair in 25 min. Shawn was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. And gave good advice on another problem. He could have just fixed the hose on the dish washer and gone on, but he honestly gave the opinion that it was better to replace than repair. That meant a lot.

They took care of a couple of clogged drains and did some work on the faucet in my master bathroom. The service went very well. They are always prompt and professional! I would recommend their services.

David Deroy, plumber, was on time and in fact could have come an hour earlier if we had been able to meet him then. He wore booties and protected our carpet and kept the work areas clean. He has very useful information and great recommendations for us about the 2 toilets and we feel like we were treated honestly and fair. We plan to make a purchase through him in the near future.

They service fine. They came out and verified what was wrong. I thought there would be a little more to it than what was included. The technician was extremely nice and professional. He gave me his card if I have issues in the future.
