I very rarely rate poorly, but I would not use again. Needed 3 tub faucet stems sets replaced. $700.00

It went very well. They did a great job. I would use them again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out good. There weren't any problems. They couldn't do what they were supposed to do, they couldn't put the scope down, but that was just because of the size of the pipe. They did a good job as far as fixing the actual clog in the sewer line. They did well. I was very happy with it. I used the big deal within a week of purchasing it, and I didn't have to pay anything additional. The only negative that I could possibly say, is that they couldn't scope it, which was why I had purchased the big deal. But they solved my problem. The price was good. They were responsive. They called me a day or two within me buying the big deal, and they were punctual. They were very good, as good as it gets. I would use them in the future.

They came and videoed the sewer line finding a busted sewer pipe which I will now have to fix. Hopefully I'll find a Deal on Angie's List!!

They were able to help me with the issue that I had. It was just an old toilet, so it went fine. They were good.

Called to make appointment mid morning and was surprised that we were able to get work done that afternoon, Rep was very friendly and knowledgeable. He completed the toilet checks as expected, answered general plumbing questions we had and brought potential plumbing issues to our attention and advised on next steps to get them addressed. He also pointed out sub par plumbing work a different company performed that could cause issues in future.

The scheduling department is deplorable. The initial 3 service times I indicated when purchasing the voucher were completely ignored. They sent a request to my Angie's List inbox within 2 days of my purchase for me to choose a time. I re-sent the same 3 choices as before & received NO response. After waiting THREE WEEKS & after all 3 of my initial choices had expired, I sent another message via Angie's List demanding a response with a SPECIFIC DATE & TIME that they are available. I received a number of phone messages over the next few days - none of which included ANY available appointment times. Then they sent me another message via Angie's List, again with NO available appointment times. Since it was now obvious that their scheduling department is not capable of using 21st century technology efficiently, I finally called on 11/15/13 & they amazingly had a guy out the same day. The appointment was scheduled for 3-5 pm on 11/15/13. The guy arrived at my door at 5:03 & called that being "on time". (He put 4:50 as his arrival time on his service sheet but I did not catch that until after he left.) He did, of course, try to sell me additional services that I did not need. Fortunately, I am smart enough to know that I didn't need the $198 fill valve. He completed the agreed upon work quickly and the toilet works perfectly now. However, he did use about 1/2 a roll of toilet paper to wipe up the excess plumber's putty when he was done. I would have preferred that he ask for a paper towel instead.

The BF plumber showed up on time and called before hand to let me know that he was on his way. After he arrived I showed him the Angie's Deal Certificate and showed him the spigot location. He called his supervisor who advised that this "deal" was only for their most basic spigot and didn't included a frost proof spigot which he advised using and I agreed to pay the difference. So now he starts the work as I'm watching him turning the faucet to remove it and out comes ten inches of copper that had been twisted around inside the wall and broken off. Let the games begin and the price jump seven fold! Now he's cutting into the brick to access the pipes and that's still not enough room so he cuts into the closet wall and finally has enough space to access the plumbing. After two hours of work the spigots replaced and I'm told that the price is $400 minus the $79 that I've already paid of course. So really we're talking $479 since I had already spent the $79 on the "deal." Had I know that breaking the pipe was even going to be a possibility I would've just left the spigot alone and not replaced it! On the kitchen faucet replacement I was offered a deal because the plumber told me that they were closing out this particular faucet model and normally it would be $750 installed but he could do it for $550. When I asked him why it was so expensive he stated that their five year warranty was the best in the business and can't be beat. But basically your paying two to three times as much as retail and hoping that it breaks so you can get it replaced again under the five year warranty. We do like the new kitchen faucet but feel like it was way too expensive! At the very least I feel that we should get a refund on the $79 for the "deal" that turned into anything but a deal after using Benjamin Franklin!

They did a very good job. They showed up on time, were very professional and did the work as promised. We had to order the hot water tank but they got it in when they promised and had it installed in a few hours. Left everything very clean and in working order. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

They were outstanding. Worked very hard to get drain clear which had metal in line probably when home was constructed 18 yrs ago. Can 't say enough good things about them and will definitely be my plumber of choice in the future.

It was perfect! It went well. They were prompt. They fixed the problem. I haven't had any more additional problems with the area that they fixed. It was very good. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. They called within a week after I purchased the deal and scheduled.

troubleshooting (an old leak we inherited when we bought the house 2 years ago) to locate source of leak from upstairs tub onto garage celing.

They came out the next day. He finished quick and asked if I needed anything else. He completed a total of three jobs. He was very prompt and courteous. Everything went smooth.

The provider correctly resolved the toilet issues that we were having. We are pleased with this "Five Point Toilet Tune-up Deal".

He came in and instead of trying to unclog the slow draining sink, he right away said it needed the metal PVC joint replaced with a plastic one. A plastic one would be easier to remove and unclog in the future. He made sense, though I would have liked to have had him try to unclog the metal one first, but he was dead set on replacing being the best answer. So instead of being $129 for the coupon, it was $307 + the $129 for the coupon making it $436. I decided to go with the up sell only for the fact that indeed, a plastic one I can unscrew and fix in the future without needing to call a plumber again. He did the job and the clog was gone. Then he went out to check on the drain outside. There were roots in the drain he showed me but at this point, they were not causing any issues so no up sell to clear them.

Technician"snaked" toilet and found no obstruction after using an approx 6' snake and no improvement in operation. He thought it could be a potential problem with the vent line, which would require a $400 video survey from roof, but was unsure that a technician would go to roof of our tall two story house. Technicians alternate suggestion was for me to purchase a new toilet and have it on standby. Technician would then return( not covered by this agreement) and remove existing toilet and "snake with a much longer device" to see if there was an obstruction beyond the reach of the original snake. Then he would install the new toilet in place to see if it "worked". (If it didn't "work" and the problem remained, the cost of the new toilet would be unrecoverable!) It didn't make sense for me to attempt that and I declined. There appeared to be no workable solution and I told him discontinue the effort. He said I had some time left and would I like him to check anything else? That was a good suggestion and I asked him to look at a toilet that "flushed itself" randomly from time to time. Generally, that's a leaky flagpper valve. I've lived in this home for 19 years and had to replace the "flapper valves" on all of our 5 toilets from time to time. This has always cured the problem and it's generally a quick inexpensive fix with the appropriate part from a local hardware store. Actually there were two toilets and I thought he could fix them both quickly within the allotted time. However, not so, because they must inspect the entire toilet system to be certain that it is "the flapper" and the charge for the inspection is $104 additional, each toilet. I requested that he just change the flapper and if that turned out not to work, I would not hold them responsible. He said his company doesn't allow that. There's been no subsequent contact.

He cut out some of the sheetrock, but did not repair the sheetrock after the valve was replaced. He removed the leaking valve and installed a new valve. He then tested the new valve to ensure no leaks, and ran water into a bucket to clean out the new valve. He was professional. My only issue is the cost of the service for about 45 minutes of work, and a cheap valve.

I was looking for a plumber on a Sunday to clear a sewer line at one of my rental properties & wasn't having much luck. I saw BF on the list & remembered seeing their TV ads. I called their number & asked the girl if they could get someone out that day. She said "yes, they could, but needed to get some info 1rst". So after getting my name, address,phone number & I believe my email address, she informed me that they didn't have anyone available & it would be Monday. Needless to say, I kept looking & will never call them again.

I called them to repair or replace a kitchen faucet. The cost to repair the faucet was close to replacing one. I opted to replace the faucet. Because I was on crutches and not able to drive they had me choose a faucet online and then they purchased and replaced the faucet. They were very professional and polite. I will use them again.

It went fine, they were very professional and efficient and knew what he was doing. He was great, I felt bad because he had to work out in the heat.
