Put a camera in the pipe to see what else may need to be done in the future, and showed us what had caused the problem. We will have them back soon to flush the drains.

They communicated well. They called that the repairman was available sooner. He wore shoe protectors. He quickly repaired the problem and explained it to me so I understood the issue. He willingly answered my questions. I would highly recommend them

Rep came to discuss the deal. Upon further investigation, what was offered was an upgrade to an electrostatic leak test. We didn't have a clogged drain, only a slow moving one. He mentioned that we have several drains and to scope just one wasn't the best use of this deal. I feel we could have been more informed when setting the appointment. If we had known the drain must be clogged, we wouldn't have wasted the time. The rep also said we had an open pipe to the outside drain (which a rodent could enter and stop things up) and that he would provide us one, but forgot and didn't. We will ask for a refund this week now that the holidays are behind us.

Bought two toilet tuneups and so glad I did. John did an excellent job!

They did a very good job but I do feel the pricing was a little high.

Charlie came and did an inspection on two of our toilets. One of the toilets fell in the parameters of the deal and he fixed it. The other toilet had some problems that were outside of the deal and he repaired the problems very quickly and at minimal cost. He was very polite and professional and when we need more plumbing done it will be with this company and we will ask for Charlie back.

Very punctual. Completed job to my total satisfaction. Extremely experienced and knowledgeable. Was willing to talk to me about some other outside faucet issues and provide estimates to complete.

All that was included was the replacement of the faucet - I could've done this. Any other work that they did wasn't included. The manager was willing to subtract the cost of the big deal from the total cost, but I paid for a full hour to 1 1/2 hrs of work. I wish that the big deal had clearer descriptions of what exactly the work entailed. The Big Deal was not repair work. They did a good job - the fault was with the big deal.

One drain was good, but one is still draining slow. I did find out I needed a new sewer line. The camera was very useful. They left a bid for the sewer line. However, I chose to go with another company that was cheaper.

Absolutely phenomenal! Based on this experience, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing will be my first choice of plumbers going forward. Here are the highlights: 1. Lowest price compared to two other similar competitors. Price difference was over $10,000! 2. Most consistently professional contractor I have worked with. Adam, the lead plumber on the project, called me almost daily with status updates and didn't make any assumptions or decisions without consulting with me first 3. Excellent quality, my property was left in the same or better condition than it was in when they started, no messes, tools, or trash left behind 4. Awesome business office, very flexible and understanding of the time it took to get my payment all lined up ($18,000 is a LOT of money to pay out at once!) All in all, Benjamin Franklin was, at least for this project, the absolute best contractor I have worked with since I bought my house. Since I've spent over $55,000 on contractors to date, I'd say I'm well qualified to say that BFP is a top notch provider!

The service was much better than we anticipated! He was not only punctual, but early! We've never had that experience with any service at our house. He checked on other problems we may need to address in the future. We had the same problem come up again, which was honored under warranty. These people are FANTASTIC and take a lot of pride in their services. I highly recommend them.

He arrived on time, was very professional and very courteous. He knew what he was doing and was very pleasant. He made no mess at all and I hardly even knew he was here. The perfect plumber!!! All the items he repaired and installed are working beautifully. It was a great experience.

They work on commission. There is an elevated price point. Top notch service. Quoted us $4500 to put in a tankless toilet.

They were okay but, I thought that they were a little expensive for what they did. He did what I needed so that was okay. They are local. I found them in an ad. I have not had any issues since they fixed them. I would not use them again.

After another call to Ben Franklin, all they could do was offer to send another technician out to check the problem. Now after my 5-point toilet tune-up I end up with a problem I did not have before they did the tune-up. I know we live in a high water pressure area, but it worked fine before they began, and the only way to fix it costs over $12.00????? Come on!

The plumber came in and explained that the deal purchased does not apply to the toilet that I have at home. He was very courteous and explained the issue without any rush.

Overall, the experience was OK. The stoppage was cleared for a great price. This is for a rent house. I was sending plumber out to meet tenant and I was not going to be onsite. I called prior and asked if I could talk to Plumber prior so i could give him some background and get an update when completed. They assured me that would not be a problem. I purchased the "deal" and got my certificate. They were very fast on calling me to set up a time. That person was very nice. I arranged with the tenant and got it scheduled. At the arranged time, the office called me to say the plumber was en route. I asked if I could talk to the plumber and they said NO and that he would talk to who ever was there. I told them I was assured I would be able to talk to plumber and they said that they would ask him to call me. When the plumber arrived, they said they could not work because it was raining. I thought that was strange but they scheduled it for the next day. That time came, and the office again called me to say he was on his way. I asked again about talking to plumber and they said no, but eventually convinced them to have him call me. The 2nd time he came out, he fixed the drain. I never got a call from anyone. No call to give them some background, no update that the job was completed. I finally called the tenant to ask them and they said that it was cleared and told me what the plumber thought what the stoppage was from. Overall, they fixed it. I thought it was weird about the rain....but tenant wasn't too upset. It was a reasonable price. Disappointing that I didn't get any of the calls I thought I should get. I would probably use them again, but with different expectations.

Found fill valve failing. Purchased valve at Lowes and replaced it myself. Saved $168

I was so pleased with the work Benjamin Franklin Plumbing did at my old house in Plano, that I decided to use them again when a toilet in my newer house in Allen started running constantly. The same plumber as before arrived on time and made the proper adjustments. He provided advice for other potential plumbing issues and provided estimates. I would definitely use them again.

I purchased the five-point toilet tune-up deal for three toilets at my old house in Plano that I am planning to rent. The appointment was set up for the day after I purchased the deal. The plumber called 30 minutes before arriving so I could leave work to meet him at the house. He arrived right before I did and worked efficiently. He even provided a handle to replace one that had rusted. I was so pleased with the service that I bought the deal again for my newer house in Allen.

They were high quality but very overpriced. They wouldn't want to quote the work that we did before they came to my house and when they showed up I thought they gave a very expensive price even with the discount we got through Angie's List. I wouldn't recommend them because of price.
