Wayne was on time for the appointment- an "A" right there! He changed the deadbolt and locks on the front and back doors. I was impressed with the quality of his work I asked him to quote fence job. Thank you, Wayne!

We are very pleased with Mr. Bartlett's work. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate and were pleased with the price. We scheduled him to come out. Our repair was originally scheduled for an afternoon. Mr Bartlett contacted me that morning to let me know that he was not going to make it that day due to another job taking longer than expected. I was VERY appreciative of the advanced notice so that my day wasn't wasted. Most contractors will try to squeeze it in and then be very late and not let you know. He arrived early for our rescheduled time and completed the work quickly. I was so pleased that I asked him about some other work we will need done in the future. Mr Bartlett is very professional and very kind. We will definitely be using his services for future needs!!

When we moved into this house in 2006, we had a contractor install a new fence and add a small deck. Since then, the fence and deck have been re-stained twice. The Texas heat and sun has again taken it's toll on the the deck surface. I concluded that another choice for treating the deck was needed. After seeing a few ads for 2 "wood coatings", I called Wayne to give me his opinion and and an estimate to coat the deck surface. He came by to survey the situation. He recommended one of products, and gave his sound reasons for the recommendations. Wayne gave me an estimate for his services to apply the material, including pre-washing the deck. I chose to buy the material, since I needed to go to Home Depot to confirm color selection . Wayne and his assistant arrived on a Monday to wash and prep the deck surface. They returned the following day to apply the first coat. They worked quickly and efficiently. The second coat was applied on the third day. I am very pleased with Wayne's work on this project. This is the 4th project that he has done for us. Couldn't be happier! I already have another project in mind for Wayne to tackle in the near future.

Showed up on time and went right to work, finished in approx 1 1/2 hr's. Did a great job ! Would definitely use again !

It is currently the week of June 10, 2013. Wayne Bartlett promptly returned my call for an estimate within 24 hours. He explained that he could not provide a quote because his mother died last week in Colorado and he is out of town dealing with funeral arrangements. It appears that this exact situation has occurred several times before ("putting his mother to rest in Colorado" in March 2013, and hearing from his brother at the end of May 2013 that "if any family wanted to spend time with their mother, now is the time"), based on other recent reviews. I don't know what the facts are or are not. But since his personal situation, whatever it may be, seems to make it difficult to work right now, perhaps the best route would be for him to remove his listing for the time being.

I contacted Mr. Bartlett on Friday, May 24 to see when he might come over to provide an estimate. He said he could be at the house on Tuesday, May 28th at 9:00am. I had to work that day, but arranged to have a responsible person at the house to walk him through the projects that needed done. About 10:30am on the 28th that person contacted me to let me know that Mr. Bartlett had yet to arrive. I called Mr. Bartlett to make sure I had the day and time correct, and he informed me that he wrote the appointment in his notebook, but failed to transfer that to his working file. So, we made arrangements for him to come by that same afternoon at 2:00pm. Mr. Bartlett arrived on time and was walked through the list of projects to be completed. He said he would call later on this afternoon with his estimate for the cost of the work. That phone call was received about 8:00pm or so, and we were informed that he just received a call from his brother, stating that the Doctor called and said that if any family wanted to spend time with their mother, now is the time. Therefore he will not be able to perform any work for us. Normally I would be sympathetic, as my parents are getting on in years, and that is an inevitability for all of us. However, I read the other negative review for Mr. Bartlett from April 2013. In that review, Mr. Bartlett responded to that Member that he was unable to return a phone call because he was in Colorado "to put my mother to rest". His words, not mine. I have my opinions on the validity of this excuse, you can draw your own.

I made an appointment (about 2 weeks in advance). He arrived on time with his assistant, David. They immediately went to work. I provided the paint from a previous house painting job. They removed all of the components of the enclosure, and and neatly stacked the old material in the alley for bulk waste pickup. After cutting the new material pieces, they rebuilt and painted the enclosure. When the job was finished, they loaded up their tools and extra materials. You could not tell that anyone was in the back yard. I was very satisfied with the appearance of the finished job. I would highly recommend Wayne to anyone.

Wayne is an excellent person to do business with, would recommend him anytime. He was punctual, pro appearance and absolutely solved the problem. Job was on track and within budget.

I called Wayne to schedule an estimate. He came over promptly, and looked things over. He was very thorough in telling me what he would do. I found his estimate to be fair and reasonable. He scheduled a time for the job. When he and is assistant David arrived, they got right to work. They were neat, very professional. I was very pleased with the finished work. In fact, I had him give me an estimate to repair some rotted wood found in the chimney enclosure.

I can't provide a review for services rendered, but I thought it appropriate to at least mention my experience. I have some repair work that needs to be done around the house. Based on what I read regarding Bartlett Home Care and Repair, I thought I would give them an opportunity. On April 1st, 2013 I called them and got sent to voicemail. I left a message as requested. Outlined what I needed, my name, and the phone number I could be reached at. I repeated the name and phone number a second time just to make sure. I have yet to hear back from anyone. So I will look for another company that is more interested in my business. I understand maybe being busy, but a courtesy call back to try and arrange time in the future is just good business. They may do good work, I can't say. But first impression for me was not good. You can't get Customers by ignoring them.

It went great! Wayne is very professional and knowledgeable in all areas of home repair and maintenance. We have not had a heavy rain since the drainage ditch was dug. I am sure it will be successful. We have used Wayne for many things, including being so confident in his ability to repair things in a professional way, that we hired him to go to Colorado to prepare our home there to be put on the sales market. He repaired cracks in the walls, leveled floors, installed new doors, replaced bathroom counters, put a new roof on, among many other things. He took two other men with him and together they stayed at our home for approximately one month. The did an outstanding job! This home was on the market for two months before it sold at a price very close to the asking price. Wayne is very fair in bidding his jobs, he is prompt, courteous and very professional.

The job was done well for the price I was quoted.

Bartlett made an appointment to inspect our repairs and give us an estimate and showed exactly on time. His estimate was very fair and we made an appointment for him to come out and do the work. For $125.00 labor and $22.00 in materials, he fixed a hole in our roof and replaced a gasket in our toilet. His price was very good and we will use him again. As a note, he can do plumbing on the outside of the wall but if it is on the inside, he can't do that because he doesn't have a license.

Called and spoke with Wayne Bartlett. Asked him to call and make an appointment with our rental so he could give me an estimate on replacing the shower door water seal and re-caulking the shower and tub. He called back with an estimate and set up an appointment with our renter. Wayne was very professional, prompt and did the job to perfection. The reason I chose this company was he did not charge a trip charge !!! Since this is a rental home and we don't live in the same area ... you don't ever know what you will be getting. I will be using Wayne for all our handyman needs !!!

Wayne Bartlett performed the work and I thought he did an excellent job. I was not able to get away from work to meet with Wayne so I did not actually meet him in person. My brother was at the house to let him in. I spoke to him on the phone a couple of times to schedule an estimate and then to do the work. He was very polite, prompt and professional. He was able to come out to the house to give an estimate in just a few days and the work was scheduled and completed in just a couple of more days. It was something I had been wanting to do for a long time and I was very pleased with the results. I would definitely use him again in the future. He also called me later in the day to ask me if I was happy with the work which of course I was. I did appreciate the follow up to see if I was satisfied.

Wayne showed up exactly on time, he was courteous and professional. He removed the storm door and cut the wood for the new jam. He took his time made sure it was done just right, even cleaning up his mess as he worked. Since we hadn't bought a new storm door yet he gave us some tips for what to tell the guys ( what to tell Lowe's) when they come to install, so it's done right. He also gave us an estimate for some remodeling of our office. We would highly recommend Wayne, he did great work for us!

Contacted through Angies list. Called Mr Bartlett to install a ceiling fan at a rental property.He scheduled the installation with the tenants and took care of the job.The tenant was pleased with everything about the experience.Highly recommended.

They were on time, paid great attention to detail and were extremely neat. They moved everything (furniture and decor) which needed to be moved, were very careful to protect the furnishings, put everything back exactly as it had been both days and left the work area spotless. The repair looks great. I couldn't be more pleased.
