My a/c unit for the main floor of my house has been a challenge as far as tripping the breaker from time to time. I've had a number of different people check and work on it over the years and even had a new a/c system installed. Still the problem with the breaker being tripped would happen, especially in spells of over 100 degree days. Never once did any of them tell me that my breaker for the a/c unit was rated 10 amps under what it should be. Not only that but the a/c was pulling way too many amps on start up. The technician explained that this could be resolved by adding a "hard start kit" to the a/c. He quoted a price for that of $270 and I gave him the go ahead (this included labor). He suggested that I still get the breaker panel upgraded to be in compliance. The a/c has not tripped the breaker since. Even though he had misquoted me lower than the actual cost of this kit installed (I think about $30 less) he went ahead and installed it at the price he first quoted rather than come back inside and ask me to approve the higher cost. This started as a coupon service call on the unit.

One of our attic units starting making a strange sound over the weekend. We shut off the unit and called the company Monday morning for a service call. Just a few hours later one of their technicians arrived to inspect the unit. He discovered a piece of paper lodged by the motor, causing a flapping sound. Luckily it wasn't something worse. He checked the other units and discovered one of the compressors was pulling 11.2 Amps instead of the maximum recommended 8.4. The unit had a corroded wire that wasn't connected anymore. I paid extra to have him replace the wire and test the unit again. After replacement the compressor was pulling 6.8 Amps - much better. He stayed around to give me some good maintenance tips to extend the life of the A/C units as well. Very professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company and be happy to use them again.

I was selling my house and it had been over a year since I had the air conditioner serviced. Since I was selling the house, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I did want some assurance that the unit was working properly and would continue through the completion of the sale. The price of the deal included the coolant if it was needed. I thought the price of the service was a great deal. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly at a convenient time. I confess that I don't know anything about air conditioners, so I can't really evaluate how thorough the tune up was. I was primarily interested in preventive maintenance.

I was expecting a full summer inspection and check up, which when I used other companies included washing the outside unit and replacing my a/c filter. Actually, what they did was more of a spot check but for $30, that's probably all I could expect. Very professional in setting up appointment from their office staff as well as the person who did the inspection.

Very well. I was pleased enough that I signed up for a seasonal service program.

We did a "Big Deal" service check with them to check all three of our air conditioning units. I believe the Big Deal price was $33 per unit, so $99 for the service check. The reason the cost got to the $175 was that coolant need to be added to a couple of the units (I believe about 1 1/2 gallons if I remember correctly). The service was great, he explained everything he was doing well and the issues he found, and I believe the overall price was very good considering we had three units (even with the coolant that needed to be added). He did try to sell us "up" on a long-term "service" plan, but when I did the math, it didn't seem to be that great of a deal. Overall, very pleased with the service we bought. I would use them again.

In general, the ac technician was very professional and checked all the ac units in the house, for an extra cost, since the offer was for just one ac unit to be inspected. At the end, I ended up paying an extra $34 for the inspection of the second unit, plus $100.35 for the clogged main drain in the upstairs unit to be cleared. That's $168.35 in total. I was told the units did not need the coolant, so at the end, I do not know if the offer was really for me, since I expected to need some coolant and the inspection to include all the units in the house. The pipe stopped leaking, so the problem was fixed. I'm happy with the results. I would call them again if I had any other problems with the ac units.

Showed up on time. He went right to work changed air filters and added some Freon.

The technician was very polite and professional, explained the condition of the AC and the problem with the drain pan, explained the alternatives and costs and gave me a quote on 3 new A/C systems up to a top of the line SEER 19 unit. He also answered my questions about installing a new unit on a different place in the attic and the advantages in installing it in the horizontal position instead of vertical.

After this service, I signed a service contract with them. They were on time and the service guy took time to explain things to me. When I asked him to check a few things that I didn't notice he had already checked, he was happy to go over them or explained that he had checked them. My experience with other HVAC companies is that they will have a special price but it only covers one system and they charge you full price for the other system. They charged the deal price of $34 for both systems, which I thought was very professional. I thought the inspection could have been a little more thorough, which was my only issue. But they called to schedule the appointment right away and overall, I am pleased.

This company arrived on time, were cheerful and friendly. They checked my inside unit and changed the filter, then checked the outside A/C and made sure it was working properly and had adequate cooling fluids. I was happy with the services they provided, with the timeliness and the demeanor of the men who provided the services. I would certainly have them come again.

The technician was very professional and efficient. No service was required, but he gave me some very helpful suggestions on how to keep my unit running properly.

The second unit air conditioner works fine now

I found this company on Angie's List. The equipment and everything is fine. The pricing was good. Everything kind of worked out there. We had a little bit of a communication issue around some of the equipment, but that was sorted out. They were very fast to install. Once we reached agreement, they did it the next day. Given that one of my air conditioning units had failed that was pretty important to get those quick installations.

The technician arrived on time, spent about one hour examining the outside condenser unit and the inside unit. I had heard some bad noises coming from the inside unit and I suspected something bad which is why I took advantage of the inexpensive service call. Sure enough, the blower wheel and motor, the capacitor, and my overflow pan needed replacement. The technician's name was Richard Adams and he was very professional, easy to talk to, and answered all my questions. He provided quotes for the repair work and new replacement units. They discussed everything with me for about 30 minutes to ensure I understood everything. Sure enough, one week later the blower motor died. I had called around to several other A/C repair companies and all the quotes were the same. I was impressed by Richard's professionalism plus the receptionist was very kind and answered all my questions. So I had them replace my A/C-Heater unit and perform some much needed duct work as well. The total cost for this work was $9300 ($7900 for the new unit and $1400 for the duct work). The duct work was to split the one large duct into smaller ducts so that my daughter's room had proper airflow into it. They also added a return duct to this room. The entire crew was very good and the new unit was completed in one day. The duct work was done on a different day and completed within a few hours. Overall, I was very satisfied with the work and results of all the work they performed. They did a very good job of not making a big mess and cleaned up everything after all the work was done. The only nit if have is the the crew that did the duct work got some dust and bits of the ceiling on my daughter's desk, on the floor, and in one of their mice cages. They put the return in the ceiling and either did not cover up when they made the hole.

The work they did was okay. There was one thing I specifically asked them to check out and they didn't do it. Everything else was okay. They seemed far more intrested in selling me a new unit than servicing the old one. James Williams

We needed 5 more as well. We just moved in....so I hadn't known what we had yet. The tech was very knowledgeable and explained the system to me.

Checked the overall health of the system. Provided tips and tricks for maintaining the system. Added freon as needed.

Arrived in the morning with two trucks, two crews, two A/C units. Each crew installed one unit - one crew for the upstairs, one crew for the downstairs. It was blazing hot outside (an inside). They completed the work in about 9 hours. When they left, there was no evidence they were there - everything was cleaned up. The AC worked perfectly. They explained the operation, maintenance, and all that goes with that.

Josh was awesome. Our air conditioner is only 3 yrs old, but was not keeping up with the heat (Texas -August). We bought an Angie's list deal for $34 that included a check-up and a pound of freon. Josh was on time, very knowledgable, and friendly. He found 3 problems pretty quickly which were all due to shoddy work by the previous company we did business with. He told us exactly what was wrong and suggested we call the other company to come back and fix it since the unit is still under warranty. He did not try to pressure sell us anything. In fact, he was willing to lose money so that we could save it! We followed his advice and the other company did fix the issues without charge and agreed it was bad work. We will definitely use All Service Heating and Air for future check-ups and any future work. They have earned our trust. Great job!

I purchased a Big Deal coupon from them. That worked out fine. They got here on time and checked it and we were done.
