My repair job was too small for them. They wouldn't help me.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They were great communicators and told me exactly when something was going to occur from measuring for an estimate to delivering the supplies to beginning construction. They would call me the day before and let me know what would happen the next day and it happened exactly as they said it would. When they came out to begin construction the owner came with his crew in the morning and introduced me to the crew supervisor who he said had been with them for 14 years, was a perfectionist and would address any questions I might have during construction. I did make a couple of minor changes that went really smoothly. All in all, they did a terrific job and the fence looks great.

Why Go With Anyone Else? After several fence bids, it was immediately apparent why we decided to go with Affordable Fence Company. Anyone who has experienced the process of setting up times, dates, and meetings with different companies in order to have a service provided, knows it can be a tricky task. This was certainly not the case with Affordable Fence Company. Unlike others, Jeff, the owner of the company, personally contacted me back in a short period of time. He was kind, attentive, and made great suggestions before we even met. Once we set up an appointment, Jeff was punctual and professional. Being a substitute teacher, I often have last minute schedule changes. Jeff was so accommodating and made several trips to my home during my breaks. His flexibility was much appreciated. Furthermore, my husband and I decided we wanted an eight foot board on board fence and knew it was going to be costly. Again, after several bids, Affordable Fence Company was the most cost effective and least expensive of them all. During the couple of days it took to put the new fence up, Jeff consistently updated us on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day if we had questions. His reassurance from start to finish was such a comfort to us. As for Jeff's workers, they arrived everyday at the same time. They also cleaned up the site daily which not only made us happy but our neighbors as well! In short, the fence was completed a day earlier then predicted, and it was simply BEAUTIFUL! Jeff and his team made the proces of building a fence painless. My husband and I felt that the company we went with had to offer the best warranty. Knowing things can happen over time, Jeff offered an extensive warranty. He apparently stands by his product and now so do we. On a final note, Jeff went beyond the call of duty when one day on the job my neighbor's fence fell down. Without hesitation, he spoke to my neighbor, yellowed taped the area off, and put a few nails in a post without charge. Please consider Affordable Fence Company to build your new fence! I promise, you will be satisfied with your decision.

Communication with Mike was great from the bid through completion of the work. Mike suggested a couple of ways to money and they were able to start several days sooner than originally expected and finished the work in one day.

I called Affordable Fence from the Angie's listing. Jeff called me within a few minutes and within a day he had been to my house to quote the job. He emailed me a professional estimate and explanation of the repair. He responded quickly to my questions. He had a crew available and within a very few days, the crew showed up at the time agreed upon. They were professional and thorough in their work which was done exactly as quoted. Jeff checked the work and gave me opportunity to express an concerns. I was very pleased with the workmanship of the new gate, posts and repairs. I am confident that the repairs will buy me some life in my fence before I have to replace it. The company personifies customer service, quality workmanship and fair pricing.

I called Affordable fence to come out for an estimate, Mike came the very next morning, and he assured me my fence could be fixed and they would have the door working again (it hadn't been working for 2 years). They came and fixed the fence two days later, the door opens and closes perfectly, the section that had been blown down is up, and is solid along with all the other sections being reinforced. I couldn't believe how strong the fence is, I thought for sure it needed it to be replaced, but wow, it's really solid now! I do plan to replace it in a year or two, it's the fence that came with the house (builder grade), but I've had a few other things break recently and needed to get by with a repair for the time being, they certainly did just what I needed!! Great work, at a great price!

Jeff was professional and prompt. Affordable came lowest on pricing for the same work when compared against 2 other fence companies. Jeff sent his crew as soon as I gave him the final go. I am not a 100% satisfied with the quality of work though, partly because I was busy with work and could not closely monitor the work being done. One of my sprinkler underground pipes got damaged during the installation of the fence and I didn't notice it until several days later when the gushing water had exposed the underground pipe. Jeff was kind enough to send his crew back at no cost to fix the problem. The crew also dug up some mud from a bare patch in my backyard where I park my garbage carts. That has left that bare patch lower than the rest of the ground and I get a puddle of water every time it rains or when I turn on my sprinkler system.

After reading many reviews on Angie's List I decided to get an estimate from Affordable Fences. The company contact, Jeff Whitley, was very courteous, professional, and responsive. After comparing several quotes from other companies I decided to go with Affordable Fences. After that It took the better part of a month going back and forth with my neighbor about which company to use since we share a common fence line and would make sense to use the same company. Finally, they also decided Affordable Fences was the way to go after getting a few quotes of their own. Throughout that whole time Jeff patiently provided us with multiple quotes and suggestions to meet our requests. From the start I was very impressed with the quick response to emails, texts messages, and quote updates. They started the job on the scheduled date and completed in the 3-4 days as promised. The work crew showed the same dedication to quality and customer satisfaction as Jeff did. In all, I am very, very pleased with my fence and the service. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!

Next day came and no call and no show. I guess they don't want the business or maybe didn't want to deal with a female! Wrong choice ..."I write the checks!"

Affordable Fence Co worked with me compared to their competitors. Their price, quality, responsiveness, and professionalism were excellent. I would most definitely use them again in the future.

I cannot recommend Jeff and Affordable enough. Communication was amazing from the very start. All of my question were answered in a efficient, timely manner before any work was performed. Their quote was accurate, work started on time as promised. My wife and I are very picky about who we hire to perform work at our house. Jeff arrived with the crew the morning work started and introduced me to Gaucho, the crew leader. We did a complete walk around the job and I made him aware of a few things, such as our foundation watering system that might impact the build. The crew was very efficient and worked quickly. I have never seen a crew pay such attention to every detail! The finished result is truly spectacular. 8' board on board, steel posts, etc. My neighbor came over (after having his fence done by another company the previous week) and was shocked to hear that I paid 40% less for the same fence. The materials used were of the very highest quality and the service was exemplary.

I contacted Jeff at Affordable Fence Co and he was very friendly and professional. He was able to come out to give me an estimate within a couple of days and I found the pricing to be very competitive. Communication was outstanding: phone calls and email to back up his estimate and schedule time. The crew was out here and finished the job within a couple of hours. Cleaned up well, wrote them a check and that's that! I would definitely recommend them in the future.

Except for a delay at the beginning of service, they did just want they said they'd do. We were very happy with them.

The overall experience was great. The estimate was half of another company we called, plus we did not have to be at the house when they did the estimate (which was helpful during the holiday season). The estimate was submitted to us via email just a few hours after they were at the house. Communication was easy as the owner gave me his cell number and email. They were able to work us in before the holiday and got the job done quickly while maintaining quality.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS BY JEFF AND MIKE. CREW SHOWED UP EARLY, WORKED LATE AND THE CREW WAS COURTEOUS AND KEPT JOB SITE CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. CRAFTMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT AND WORTH THE MONEY SPENT.

My neighbor agreed to put up a new fence as well (which was a relief given we share a fence line), and agreed to use Affordble Fence Company. I can tell you that I am extremely impressed with this company, and Jeff Whitley in particular. I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the past six months trying to get our newly purchased home back in tip top shape. All of them have been great (all from Angie's List), but I feel confident in saying that my experience with Affordable Fence Company was the best. Jeff was great about communication, returning all emails and phone calls in a timely manner, and was on-site several time to inspect his crew's work and answer my many questions. The fence itself is beautiful, built very well, and is exactly what I wanted. The quote and pricing for the fence was extremely competitive as well. In summary, I got a fantastically built fence at a good price, and received outstanding customer service from the owner of the company. You really can't ask for more than that. I would highly recommend Affordable Fence Company to anyone who is looking to build a fence or have an existing fence replaced. Call them for a quote and thank me later.

i was very pleased with affordable fence's professional communications (phone calls and emails), their quick responses to my inquiries and with the repairs that were done. i called on a saturday, and jeff came out to do an estimate on monday. the work was done the following wednesday. the price i was quoted seemed fair, although i did not shop around. overall i was highly pleased and happy i contacted affordable fence.

Prompt and professional, and competitively priced. The only complaint is that a few new nails missed their mark slightly and were exposed. After I called about the exposed nails, the crew came out the next day and fixed them. However, a couple days later I noticed a few nails where the sharp tips were slightly poking through the board. Guess I'll file down those tips.

Outstanding is the best way to describe the overall experience with Affordable Fence. I normally am not impressed enough to write a glowing review about a company but certainly was in this case. It started from the time I was given a written estimate until full completion of the job. Jeff Whitley was fantastic to work with. He came out explained all of the details of the job and answered all questions we had. They started on time and finished earlier than expected. We were able to get an additional gate and a high quality fence. They did a fantastic job from beginning to end at a great price. Jeff is very easy to work with - he kept in touch with me during the entire time of job. I needed some other work done which his company doesn't do, he offered a referral and he stayed on top of this job as well until it's completion which I was also very satisfied with. I am very happy with the way my fence and gate have turned out and would recommend this company to anyone!!!

I took bids from 3 companies, this one came about in the middle but the Angie's Reviews for Affordable Fence convinced me to go with them. Communication was outstanding, and they used phone and e-mail to keep me updated. They were there when they said they would be and if they thought there was a possibility of delay, they let me know. All e-mails or calls were answered within hours. I really appreciated that they kept me informed of options without upselling. As a matter of fact, they had some lower cost options for me to consider. The job was professional and the cleanup was thorough. Job was completed on schedule and cost estimate was accurate. I wish they did more than just fences, as they did quality work professionally at a competitive price.

Response was received within 24 hours of my online request for information and the project was completed in less than a week. These guys are great to work with!

I was extremely impressed with Jeff's responsiveness. I sent an email requesting an estimate and 2 hours later I had one. WOW! This was so surprising because several contractors on this list, with high scores, did not bother to respond. I had three estimates, Jeff had the best price and I'd seen the quality of their work in the neighborhood. Once I let him know that we were going with him, they were here within the week.
