They had a good rating and good price. They responded quickly and the quality of work was good. I would recommend them because they are reliable and affordable.

They patiently waited for another contractor to finish with some major shrub removal and tree trimming before starting their own work - checking with me as the other contractor was delayed by weather. When they were finally able to do their work they were on time and their schedule was just as explained - one day for removal of the old fence and setting new posts and two days for building the new fence. We now have a beautiful new fence with privacy from the back alleyway and from our closest neighbors, while still allowing us views through the gapped front and side. Excellent workmanship and professionalism, along with prompt and thorough communication.

Jeff contacted me right away and personally walked me through his company and his services. After several days, I chose to contract Affordable Fence Co. and they were prompt, they installed my 8th fence and cleaned up each day. The entire project took was just 1 week to complete (we waited for the stain folks which took a few days to schedule) and the entire effort was painless, professional and the quality of the wood, work and staff were top notch ! I would definitely recommend Jeff and his team for any fence project !

Affordable Fence had previously replaced a couple of broken posts on the old fence. When I was ready to replace the fence, I called 3 companies from Angie's List for quotes. Jeff promptly came out and measured and emailed me his quote. I was impressed with the prompt attention that I always received from Jeff. He always called or emailed responses to my questions. The customer service from this company is the best even after the job is completed. I live on a corner lot so the fence is visible to all traffic and neighbors walking down the street. The fence looks beautiful, and I have received compliments from the neighbors on the job done by Affordable Fence. The pricing was competitive with all the quotes but the prompt customer attention was far and above any of the other companies. The work was started and finished in 2 days. The workers cleaned up each day before leaving so there was no mess in my yard. None of the grass or plants around the old fence were damaged by the workers. I couldn't be more pleased with my experiences with this company, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a new fence or repairs to an old one.

I called affordable fence for a quote to replace my 17 year old 6ft fence. The next day they showed up to measure my yard. (I was not home at the time).in the estimate I inquired on prices for a 6 ft and a 8ft fence board on board stained fence. I was quoted 4,425 for 6ft and 5,215 for the 8ft for 120 ft. with a 1.05% credit card fee (this was cheapest surcharge from other quotes received). I wanted to make sure I was getting a good deal. I called several other companies, I was quoted any where from 6,000 to 9,000 for an 8 ft. fence. Only one other company came close to the price, but their warranty was not as good as affordable fence was. (10 yr on fence and 15 yr on leaning post). We set a start date 3 week from acceptance, my choice, went on a 2 week vacation. On the first they had removed old fence and installed posts. The next 2 days was used to install the running boards and boards. They were very professional and cleaned up very nicely. They did an amazing job for a great price. The deciding factors on choosing Affordable Fence was based on Price, Warranty, and their Better Business Bureau rating. Affordable Fence definitely earned that A+ rating.

It went great. Affordable was one of three Angie-listed companies I invited to bid a fence rebuild. Jeff Whitley came out and looked over what I had in mind doing which was rebuilding my cedar fence using the existing cedar posts that (in my opinion) were in reasonably good shape. Jeff looked at the job and said they could not reuse the posts but would discuss it with his dad Mike just to be sure and he did and they could not. They provide a 10-year warranty with their fences and the old posts just prohibited providing any warranty at all. I also was looking to have some landscape timbers replaced and was hoping these fence companies would handle it since I carefully picked some that showed to do landscape work, not knowing it was mostly stone work that they do. Bottom-line with Affordable, they never committed to do this timber replacement as the chosen company did. Jeff did quote me a complete new fence. The three bids were pretty close and Affordable was the highest of the three bidders but only a small amount above the next closest bidder and significantly different from the lowest bidder which also included replacing my landscape timbers.

The job went well. Plan was two days, job took two days. Rain delayed job start by two days, no problem. Fence and gate look great! Neighbor asked for gate/front fence to be replaced at same time, and this was done. Looks great,also. For the time, value of goods and labor, it was a fair deal. Warranty 10 yrs on fence and gate,15 years on leaning post.

Jeff kept me informed of all plans and progress during the construction and was very attentive to my requirements. The crew arrived on the morning of Monday, May 26 as promised. They removed the old fencing and set the metal poles for the new fence. They started the new fence construction the next day and were completed by Wednesday. The crew was polite, professional and exhibited a high level of pride of craftsmanship in the construction. They cleaned up the area completely each day and after completion of construction. I wish all projects went this smoothly and I absolutely love my new fence.

Jeff came out and estimated within a day of two of our first contact and sent me a detailed estimate via email, allowing me to see options. The fence was completed that same week and I am extremely happy with it. It is solidly built and attractive.

I was politely asked by the city to fix my old fence and retaining wall, and was in a pinch, and contacted a bunch of fence contractors, of which Affordable Fence was the highest rated with the lowest cost. Jeff and his crew were out here four days later working and a week later I have a new fence and retaining wall! This was all done during ridiculous temperatures of below freezing. It could not have gone better. Would certainly use again.

We have been having issues with our gate for the past year or so with it not opening. The gate was not functioning correctly always seems to happen at the most in opportune times. They built a beautiful fence, but the gate just did not want to cooperate. The gate and fence were installed just over 12 months ago and Jeff and his team have stuck with it to get it repaired and make it right. I am sure they are tired of hearing from us regarding the gate, but they have been polite and professional regarding the issue over the past twelve months. They have replaced components of the gate motor at their time and expense in trying to rectify the problem. Jeff and his team are professionals and I would recommend this company to anyone for fence/gate work.

I called the provider and left a message during the holiday week. I was promptly called back for additional details so they could come by to write up an estimate. The estimate was conducted as promised and emailed to me. I corresponded with them over the weekend via email and got the work scheduled for Monday. The crew showed up and they were definitely professionals. It was a two man crew and that completed the work AMAZINGLY fast. The work was all done to my satisfaction and I definitely recommend this provider!

Jeff came out on tues. to submit a bid to replace our fence. We accepted the bid on thus. Jeff had an unexpected opening for Sat and was able to begin work right away on the fence. Sat. The crew arrived on time and began taking apart the fence and setting the new metal poles in concrete. The team came back on Monday and built the new fence hauled off the old boards and cleaned up the work area. The fence looks great. We are very pleased.

My neighbor had just had a very bad experience with a fence builder so I was concerned about price, schedule, and professionalism. Affordable Fence was prompt, and responsive to my concerns. Finished in one day (as a dog owner, I didnt want the yard open overnight). Also they were able to use existing steel posts to keep the cost down. Also did a good job cleaning up after the fence was built.

Jeff got me the estimate quickly with several options as requested. After the HOA gave approval, he was able to schedule within 2 weeks of when I called him. The weather didn't cooperate but his crew was able to finish the job in a timely manner and I was very happy with the finished look. They took away all trash and took special care of my bushes that were up against the fence. I am very pleased with the quality of the work.

One of the best service experiences i have had in a long time. The weather affected the start date, and they apologized for the delay. The work was done within the time frame quoted, and I am very happy with the result.

First, I was was just happy to find a fence person to return my phone message. The first two companies I tried never returned my phone messages ever. Jeff Whitney contacted me quickly and came out the next day to do an estimate even though it was a small job. Since it was a small job I told him it was OK to wait until there was a truck in the area to save money on the job. It still only took about a week to get it fixed. And Jeff contacted me numerous times during the process. Excellent communication and he is very concerned about making sure the customer is satisfied. I will definitely keep them on my list in case I need them for a larger job and to recommend them to others.
