The owner Mike, handled all aspects of the deal. From the initial call, to the appointment, to the bid, and down to the final completion. I was so pleased with the overall job and the way it was handled, that I gave Mike a tip!

They did an outstanding job. They fence looks great, I couldn't find any flaws anywhere.

Attempted to contact the contractor twice. Left a detailed message twice and no call was ever returned. I also gave the contractor over a week to return the call.

About 40 feet of our fence had metal posts attached to the original wooden fence posts. The wood posts were weak and snapped in the wind gusts that day. We called several fence repair companies. Affordable was the first to respond, first to come out and provide a quote and was the only one ready to go to work immediately. The owner, Mike Whitley, came out himself the same day I called and his estimate was the most affordable. The work was completed in less than 2 days. I pointed out a couple of things that I wasn't completely happy with and Carlos, the crew chief, went to work immediately, without protest, to make the changes. They also made some minor repairs to other sections of the fence and the gate where effected by the storm without adding to the price. The fence looks better than before the storm and I will definitely hire Affordable again for any future fencing projects.

Mike, the company owner, came out to give a bid, which was very competitive, within 24 hours of my call. Which was not my experience with other companies I called and we walked the fence and talked about options and expectations. Carlos, the crew chief, was receptive to my concerns and very willingly, made a few alterations to make me a satisfied customer. His crew was hard working, polite and prompt. Mike came by 2 out of the 4 days the crew was here to check on things. They seemed to be truly concerned, that I was totally satisfied with the work before they left and told me to call if I had any further questions or concerns. The fence is good quality workmanship.

Affordable was clearly the lowest priced by 15% and performed all work in the very complete estimate they provided. Materials used were very good. The workers were on time, polite, spoke English, and worked hard. They are a little messy, but they did do a reasonable job of tidying up. We did have some rain and got Texas mud mess-understandable. I also pointed out a couple of things to them - something they forgot to do and a problem in our pool caused by them. They immediately came back and fixed them with no arguments.

The contractor, Mike Whitley, did meet me at the property as scheduled. I accepted his quote to do the job. The work was done in a timely manner. In retrospect, I feel the quote was too high. Just 20 +/- slats and a pre-made gate unit shouldn't have required much time to nail up. The work was completed on the scheduled date and on time. I would consider using this contractor again but would definitely negotiate the price rather than just accepting his initial quote. I would check out the price of the materials before agreeing to an estimate in the future.

Called for an estimate to replace 140 feet of fence. Mike responded by phone, came by and looked at the fence. He gave a very good price to replace the fence, but also gave a price to repair it. We opted to repair. The result was much better than I expected. The crew was fast, competent and improvised when the repair plan had to be changed. They immediately repaired a sprinkler pipe and sprinkler head they broke while digging. A very good experience. Will call him when I replace the fence.
