Affordable Fence Co. has been serving the North Dallas area for over 35 years. We are a family owned and operated company spanning over three generations. While my grandfather is retired, you will always be working directly with one of the owners, Mike or Jeff Whitley, for the best experience possible. Our longevity, customer service, workmanship and warranty are what set us apart from the others. Our highest priority is your 100% satisfaction from start to finish. Description of Work: They replaced our old fend with an 8' Board on Board two gate fence. It was level all the way around and they were punctual and neat. Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Description of Work: Affordable Fence is incredible. We had four broken posts on our backyard fence and Affordable Fence was able to fix the fence within only an hour. They came in and fixed the fence before I even knew they were there. You don't even have to be there to supervise because they are so professional.

Description of Work: Contacted Mike for a quote. Was professional and honest on the phone, and as it turned out, our home was out of his service area. He was straightforward about this, and followed up with an email to confirm. Even though we couldn't work together, it says a lot for his professionalism and integrity compared to most of his competitors who often just don't bother to call back, or promise to follow up and never do. He gets that even when a job's not a good fit, it still pays to be a professional, because I'll certainly remember him in the future when asked about a good fence company, or if I ever live in his service area.

Description of Work: Called company for an estimate. We scheduled an appointment to do the job and he never showed up. I called him to follow-up with the appointment and he never returned my call.

I DO WANT TO APOLOGIZE TO THE MEMBER. MY WHOLE COMPANY, AND ESPECIALLY THE REPAIR DEPARTMENT, HAS BEEN IN AN UPROAR FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS. MY GENERAL MANAGER, CARLOS LEMUS, HAS BEEN WITH ME FOR 15 YEARS, HE JUST HAD HIS 33RD BIRTHDAY. HE HAS NEVER CALLED IN SICK. IN LATE FEBUARY, CARLOS SAID HE FELT A LITTLE WEAK. I PAID NO ATTENTION......TO MAKE A VERY LONG STORY SHORT, CARLOS SPENT OVER 40 DAYS IN BAYLOR HOSPITAL, DOWNTOWN DALLAS, AND THE MCKINNEY MEDICAL CENTER. HIS MAJOR ORGANS STARTED SHUTTING DOWN. CARLOS, A NON SMOKER AND DRINKER, WAS SCARED BECAUSE BEING ILL WAS NEW TO HIM. 3 WEEKS AGO MONDAY HE CAME BACK TO WORK. HE HAD LOST 50LBS AND WAS USING A CANE. HE WAS TRYING TO GET OUR REPAIR DEPARTMENT BACK TO SOME KIND OF NORMAL ORDER. HE ALSO WORKED TUESDAY, BUT LEFT EARLY. TUESDAY NIGHT HE SAID HE FELT OK. WEDNESDAY MORNING, I CALLED TO CHECK ON HIM BECAUSE HE WAS LATE. HE WAS BACK IN THE HOSPITAL...... YESTERDAY, 5/21/2007, WE LAID CARLOS TO REST. STILL NO CLEAR EXPLANATION TO WHAT HAPPENED. TO THE MEMBER, YOU HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS AND I AM SORRY. I HOPE YOU FIND A GOOD REPAIR COMPANY. I AM NOT TAKING ANY MORE REPAIR JOBS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, PROBABLY IN SEPTEMBER. IT WAS MY FAULT NOT TO HAVE A LITTLE CLOSER EYE ON PRODUCTION OF REPAIRS...THANK YOU....MIKE WHITLEY
