I called Robert Taylor for home inspection for a house that I was under contract to buy. He came 15 before the appointment time to get started with the process. He was very personable, professional and courteous. He took time and explained all the questions that I had about his inspection concerns. He even went extra mile to verify certain repairs that were done by other contractors in the past and were looking fixed with a quick sale in mind. We contacted AAdvanced Inspections and scheduled an inspection for Saturday, 9/21. Robert Taylor arrived a little prior to 1:00PM . Robert explained the inspection process to us, then set about inspecting each and every item in the house. Robert touched, opened, closed, turned off, turned on, operated, measured, and investigated everything in the house. He is extremely methodical and thorough. After the inspection, Robert published a color-coded report, complete with photos, that detailed his findings. He also took the time to explain his findings, and the significance of the discrepancies. Some items were upgrades, some items affected safety, and a few items were code compliance. We were very pleased with Robert's inspection process, professionalism, and patience.

?Advanced Inspections? is the first company we called for inspecting our new home for pre-drywall and closing inspections. No problems with scheduling the dates coordinating with the builder etc. Robert was very knowledgeable and we are impressed by his attention to even small details. He even provided us valuable tips for maintaining the home and explained lot of things that I could not understand. He is very fast in sending the inspection report; we received the report on same day. The report is easy to follow with details and pictures. I would HIGHLY recommend Robert for home inspections, for a number of reasons. I initially sent an email requesting an inspection price quote, in which both Robert and his secretary promptly responded to, and proceeded to schedule me in fairly quickly. Home buying is always a time sensitive process, so I was happy that he could accommodate me right away. His secretary provided me with generous appointment reminders in advance, as well - Mickey is delightful to speak with! I later met with him on-site after he had completed his inspection, and he patiently showed/explained all of his findings, and did not rush AT ALL. His inspections were very thorough and detailed, and he also provided me with a list of companies that perform various home repairs (such as plumbing, roofing, foundation, etc...), which will definitely come in handy. And last but not least, he topped off his work with a very polite, warm and friendly personality, which is always a huge plus!

The inspection was thorough, practical and useful. I will use his services on my final inspection.

Robert was very professional. He explained everything to us in detail on what he found. Easy to understand and very helpful. Answered all our questions. We were VERY impressed with him. We would HIGHLY reccomend him to anyone without hesitation.

Mr.Taylor gave me very detailed report with photos what the exact problems with my roof.He was very polite, punctual and understood exact purpose for this inspection.He also made very clear that what he will do and what he cannot do to inspect from the beginning.He lifted tons of weight off from my senior shoulder.I'm now comfortable enough to go ahead and much needed repairing and finishing work on my roof by other roofer. The overall experience with Aadvanced was excellent. Starting with the staff moving their schedule around to accommodate my last minute request to the thorough and professional manner in which Robert inspected the house, as well as making sure all questions and concerns were addressed, I was very impressed and glad that Aadvanced was chosen to do the home inspection.

Made an appointment on Saturday for the following Tuesday. I had a short inspection period so having somebody at the office on Saturday was very helpful. Multiple email confirmations about the appointment made me feel very comfortable. Robert was on time and very thorough.

Robert inspected the home and compiled a very complete and professional report outlining all the issues that he found. At first, I was frightend that the house was a lemon, but in conversation, he assured me that the issues found were consistent with a house this age and he felt that the house was well maintained. He is just so thorough, that it makes things look perhaps worse than they really are. some of the items pointed out are good to know, but can probably be just put on a watch list for the future.This inspection for me was very critical, as I was out of town and buying this house after only seeing it one time. Robert was very accessible by phone and e-mail and we spoke several times before and after the inspection which helped me enormously in getting a feel for the quality of the home I was buying. Robert also conducted a termite inspection which was also good, perhaps not to the high standard of the home inspection, but still complete and professional. I still get helpful e-mails from Robert (marketing, but good stuff) from time-to-time and is good information for homeowners. Overall, totally impressed with the pre-inspection, inspection, post-inspection and even the helpful hints that he continues to send.

He did a very thorough job of inspection and took the time to explain things clearly. I would recommend.

Robert was fantastic. Each inspection took approximately 1/2 day because he is so thorough. He reported on many things that I would never have discovered. His written report is quite thorough too including photographs.

Robert arived on time did a complete inspection and summery. The total time it took was about 3 hours for a small 1700 sf house. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

We used him about 2 or 3 years ago to inspect our home inside and out. We had a good experience with them and I give them a B rating.

Robert worked with my tight schedule and deadlines to schedule, perform, and report on the work. He was incredibly thorough and very detailed when walking me through his findings, both in person and in the report. Robert was extremely professional and it was clear he knew exactly what he was talking about. He was candid about things I would need to address immediately, and other findings that were more nitpicky.

I was impressed with this company's flexibility in working with us to complete an inspection on short notice (Called Thursday) AND on a Sunday. The inspector arrived on-time and ready to complete the inspection. Before getting to work, he explained all the things he would be doing and gave a general, but very accurate timeframe for how long he would be. I'd read that some inspectors like to be left alone while performing the inspection, but this one encouraged me to follow him and ask questions when they arose. I didn't follow for very long, so he stopped his inspection periodically to inform me of anything I may want to see first hand or have looked at by an outside contractor. This made reading through his report much easier as I had his photos and description as well as the bonus of having seen the issues with my own eyes. He (Robert) was knowledgeable and able to say that something may have been "wrong" but would not be an actual issue down the road as far as proper function, wear, etc. When he'd finished and was running through anything that would be in the report, he was patient enough to walk me through the home again to the issue if I had any further questions. My agent arrived part of the way through the inspection and he answered her questions to satisfaction as well. His report arrived to me by email later that evening (awesome!) and included photos and descriptions and everything we'd discussed earlier that day. He used color coding and bold font to point out items he thought were significant that I may want to get checked specifically by a plumber, electrician, HVAC specialist etc. Overall, I was very impressed with the job he did. He was not only complete, but Robert was courteous, punctual, patient, and knowledgeable

This was the fourth time I've used Robert Taylor to perform a home inspection in the past year and a half. I have been totally satisfied each time. One of the homes had some foundation issues and Robert's inspection had enough bad news that I ended up walking away from the purchase. The other three also had foundation issues, but none serious enough to scare me away. His inpection reports are colored with serious items cited in red. He includes photos of issues which are very helpful. I was able to schedule him to perform the inspection within less than a week of my phone call. This was important for me to get the inspection performed within the option period of the house purchase contract. He has a friendly answering service to answer the phone and schedule the inspection.For each inspection, I was scheduled to arrive towards the end of the 3-4 hour inspection period and walk through the results with Robert. This took about a half hour each time. I brought my checkbook and paid him at that time. He emailed me the report around midnight that night.

Robert was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He conducted three inspections -- home inspection, termite inspection and pool inspection -- and then took the time to explain everything to us and answer our questions. He was there for about 4.5 hours in total. The inspection report was written very clearly with pictures, descriptions and recommendations and it was delivered promptly by e-mail. In addition his office receptionist was friendly and professional. We will definitely use Robert again for any inspection and recommend him and his company without reservation.

The report was sent the same day by 7PM. The next morning (on a Saturday) Robert was available by phone to answer some questionsI had regarding the report, where he went into more detail to address my quesitons. A small booklet (10-15 pages stapled together) was included at the beginning of the inspection with very basic but useful information explaining water heater, AC, heater, foundations and much more... Definitely worth reading if becoming a home owner...

I called AAdvanced Inspections on Friday to request a home inspection and was told he could come the NEXT DAY. (This is unheard of!). The receptionist was remarkably friendly, helpful and, without even being asked, worked to get our inspection done very quickly. Robert (the owner/inspector) arrived on time and well-prepared. He was very friendly, soft-spoken and thorough. He was at the site for over 4 hours and literally left no stone unturned. He did the usual inspection stuff, like checking the faucets, appliances, electrical, etc., then stuck around while the pool guy was there to go over some issues with a malfunctioning pump. He explained some of the minor issues he found in great detail and made sure we understood not only what was wrong, but how to address the issue AND gave us a list of various contractors who specialized in these issues. We received our inspection report the next morning and he also told us that we could feel free to call any time with questions - he then went on to tell us that even months or years down the road, if we run into any issues to please call him and he'd be happy to help us out. We have already called him once and have maintained email contact with a few follow-up questions and he is incredibly prompt about returning messages and thorough in the information he gives. Honestly, having Robert inspect your home is like having your dad there with you - he's really thorough, honest and truly has the best interest of the home buyer in mind when going through the process. I have NEVER had such a fabulous home inspection and I feel very confident that we made a good purchase, mainly because I know that he was so meticulous in his inspection.

The reviews provided by members were accurate. When I called to make an appointment for an inspection his staff was professional. His staff informed me that Robert Taylor would arrive at the location in the morning to begin the inspection and for me to arrive around noon so that Robert could discuss the inspection with me and my spouse. My spouse and I arrived at the location at the allotted time and Robert did a walk-through explaining his findings. His report was very detailed, contains photos, noting deficiencies as well as suggestions to improve the structure. His is highly qualified, conscientious and especially adept in dealing with people. In reading his report, it was obvious that he sets and maintains a high standard of performance.

A home inspection and termite inspection was needed asap in preparation of closing date. It was quick and easy to make the appointment. Robert was prompt, thorough, detailed and professional. His report is thorough and easy to read. There were items I did not understand (electrical and water pressure issues); he explained them to me in terms I could understand and suggested ways I could resolve the issues/repairs. I am now thoroughly informed about the house I'm buying and am confident I had the best service possible.

There are many good stories about Robert's service (actually I read most of them before choosing him) and I'd like to share mine with other members too. I have to say that I was expecting good service after reading all the good words, and what I actually got was even better than I could ever imagine :) Let me start from the beginning. People working in Robert's office are kind and patient. They helped me setup the appointment and sent me reminders a day before the appointment date. It was arranged at 8:15AM and when we arrived at the house at around 10:30AM Robert had already finished a lot of work. As first time home buyers we don't know much about the house. Robert explained everything he found in detail to us. He is very knowable about every aspect of the house. He showed us some problems he identified and explained which might need to get more attentions, and which might be just normal wear out. For the normal wear out he gave us advices on how to maintain the house in the future. It was a comprehensive and thorough inspection and Robert even spent some time looking at the trees in the side yard. He did find problems with the oak trees and put them in his report. We were able to get sellers took care of the trees before closing. Our realtor was not able to show up until noon. Robert had another appointment at 1pm and it was on the other side of the Metroplex. However, he kindly waited until our realtor showed up, and explained the problems he found to her. In general Robert is really nice, kind and patient to work with. Robert's report is clear and thorough. We got our report the same day in the evening (even though he got appointments the whole day). This got us extra time to discuss the issues and talk with the seller. OK, the good story hasn't ended yet. Now the inspection has finished for a month and we made a deal with the seller (by using Robert's report to negotiate of course). Our realtor arranged a final walk through for us and we really didn't expect to see anything as the seller had already sent us all the repair receipts. However, we did find water marks and bubble on the ceiling of a bedroom. I'm 100% sure this was not there when the inspection was done a month ago. We were all frustrated to see this right before closing. I decided to contact Robert for help. To be honest, I was just expecting to get some simple advice from Robert, but he replied right away and said he would like to go to the house first thing in the morning on the second day to check this for us. It was already like 9:30PM in the evening but he managed to make an appointment with the seller at 8:30AM the second day. Remember the inspection was already done a month ago, so this was additional service in an extremely short notice! On the second day Robert helped us identified the problem and the seller agreed to fix it before closing. As the builder also showed up for this emergency, Robert even talked to the builder for us and showed him some negligence when the house was built. The builder finally agreed to fix them for us! Now the house is ready to close and all I want to say to Robert is Thank You. Working with him is one of the best moments of our entire house buying process.
