Robert is very informed and thorough and was able to answer all my questions, even following up with me via email regarding a specific question I had. He is a great resource and I would definitely recommend Advanced to anyone and would use them again.

I had a very short window of about 3 days in which to get something done. They were just booked, and it was not their fault. They were so really good - helpful, courteous and responsive. They returned my call quickly. Even though I did not use their services because of a scheduling conflict on my part, they were very willing to recommend someone of a pretty high caliber. They got me what I needed. I probably will be calling them here in a few days.

Robert was very professional and courteous. He was also very thorough in his inspection. His deliverables were very easy to understand and included photos and descriptions of items identified. I would hire him again to perform another home inspection.

I was considering the purchase of an older home with the intent of doing a major remodeling project. Along with the standard home inspection items I needed to know if the bones of the house were good enough to support the remodel. Robert's background as a builder in CA gave me confidence that he not only knew what to look for but also what issues I might encounter doing a significant remodel. Now this is not part of Robert's job nor does he give advice on structural design but he was able to point out a number of issues that would likely come up during the remodel. It was a great help to have his opinions. Robert showed up on time and got right to work. His inspecton was extraordinarily thorough. The owners had just performed a pre-sale inspection with another home inspector - there was no comparison. Robert's inspection was so much more detailed and included at least 20 items that the first inspector had not reported on. The house was built as a pier and beam and Robert donned his overalls and wiggled his way around the entire crawl space searching for leaks, mold and pest damage. In addition to all of the above the owner had not had the pool cleaned and the gas was turned off which meant that Robert had to make a return trip, which he did and still stayed within his estimate.. All in all Robert spent about 6-7 hours completing his inspection and put in even more time creating an easy to read and understand report. I would give Robert the highest recommendation possible. Also a few people reported that Robert was somewhat difficult to talk to during the inspection. I did not find that to be the case at all, in fact I found him very personable. He is a perfectionist however and prefers to be focused when actually involved in the inpection process.

Robert is very thorough. He listed all the issues and gave me the order of importance to having them fixed. The report he provided was very detailed. I have been able to use the report to indicate exactly to the repairmen what I need done. He also gave me suggestions for foundation management to avoid problems in the future. Even if I decide not the sell the home, this was money very well spent. I wish I had done this sooner!. I would use AAdvanced Inspections in the future and recommend him highly to others!

I was put at ease during the process. Mr. Taylor was very pleasant, patient and professional Being a first time homebuyer I wasn't sure what to expect. Mr. Taylor took time to explain everything, every step of the way. He never made me feel like any question I asked was a stupid one or a waste of his time. He pointed out a number of things that I should address as well as giving me an idea of what the order of importance should be. There were so many things he showed me that I would have never thought to look at. He was very thorough and knowlegible. After his inspection I felt much more confident in my choice of homes and knew what the condition of the major items were. His final report was excellent, a great deal of detail as well as pictures. My mortgage broker even commented on how thorough the report was. He also spoke with my A/C person and pointed out a few areas in need of repair. In addition, he provided me with resource materials on foundation watering, insect infestionation information and other homeowner items that may come up. I have recommended him to others in our company being transferred and would definitely use him for future purchases. A very pleasant experience all around and definitely money well spent.

Robert Taylor is the owner of AAdvanced Inspections and is the one who performed the inspection. He was extremely professional and thorough and documented enough issues to make up a 23-page report. Because the home we were wanting to purchase was a larger, older custom home the inspection took much longer than he had anticipated. He spent nearly 7 hours on the inspection and review with me and was always pleasant, thorough and highly professional. Even though the time taken was much longer than he had anticipated, he charged me the same price as the original bid and honored the Angie's list coupon. He found many significant issues which ultimately caused us to terminate the contract due to the amount of money required to address those issues. He emailed the report to us at 1:00 a.m. the next morning so that we could have it in a timely manner. In his report he highlighted in red those issues that were of a safety concern, and bolded those issues that he thought would be of importance to us as the buyer. Overall, Robert went above and beyond on this job and did it with a friendly and professional manner. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection.

Very good experience. I think the inspector was very detailed and very professional. Price-wise he was very reasonable - I took quotes from several inspectors before engaging this company. They also gave me an Angies list discount.

Both times I used him he was punctual (seems hard to find anyone punctual these days!) and always polite. He explained the report thoroughly and made suggestions regarding repairs.

When I called to make the appointment, his answering service was able to quote me a price, answer my questions, very organized. I looked at his web site and I decided that I would use him (because he had been a builder for many years and had been an inspector for over 15 years). He was professional, punctual, courteous and it is obvious he knows what he is doing. He was dressed nicely (presented himself well). He addressed a number of our concerns up front and then began the inspection. His report was very professional, easy to read, and thorough. The thing that I liked was that he took the time to clarify what was really important. He made the list manageable - helping us with priorities. I would highly recommend him to others.
