 + 0 moreGreat! Devin was working on a neighbor's home when I asked for an estimate. He was very professional, knowledgeable and kind; he came over after finishing his scheduled job. He pointed out several additional areas of concern, provided an estimate, and was able to complete our job that very afternoon. The work was excellent. He perfectly matched the paint color so you can't tell where the sheet metal flashing, etc. was installed. He also attached heavy duty mesh/wire covers to several vents to block rodents. I highly recommend Devin @ 911Wildlife.
Description of Work: Preventative work to several areas of potential entry points to attic. Squirrels have been vigorously attempting to gain access to our attic. Large areas where they have chewed were evident under several eaves.

 + -1 moreDevin came out the same day I called to look at the situation. He was very thorough and knowlegeable about the problem. I felt confident that the situation was going to be resolved soon. He didn't overpromise. He let me know that rats are very clever and the job takes some time. Within 2 days of setting the traps, we saw some results. He came out the same day when I called about finding one in the attic. I was very pleased I wasn't going to spend the weekend worrying about the house smelling. Devin has been so helpful and pleasant to work with. Having rats in the attic was very stressful for me. He has made this situation so much more bearable. I will definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreThe work was done within one week of my calling. They also came back out three more times until I was satisfied with the color of paint on the flashing (i.e. to match the trim on the house). Most companies would have stopped after the first or second visit. I was impressed with the determination and willingness to make it right, which they did. The noises in the attic were gone after a day or two and we have not had any noises or any other indication that anything is in our attic. I would highly recommend this company if you want to deal with the primary issue, that being something in your attic or house that isn't supposed to be there.
Description of Work: I had noises in my attic that I suspected were squirrels. I started to "Google" companies and also use Angie's List to look for someone to take care of this (I tried myself with no success). I quickly became very concerned because most companies were more like attic restoration companies selling a whole knew attic insulation package (with the animal removal being almost a side business). All I wanted to do was to get rid of the squirrels. If I wanted to get new insulation, I would make a separate and a non "emergency" decision for that. I didn't want to feel pressured into doing a full many thousands of dollars attic restoration just to get rid of a few squirrels that were only in my attic for a month (or less), based on the noises. As it turns out, the noises were in fact squirrels and 911 Wildlife was able to confirm this. The company installed a one way door at the major suspected point of entry to let the "tree rats" out but not let them get back in. They also used metal flashing, metal mesh and a foam product to seal all of the potential other places that squirrels (or other animals) could get into my attic. At first I was a little surprised at how much this cost but after understanding the method and what was being done and considering the 10 year warranty, I felt it was an acceptable value.

 + 0 moreMy husband and I are very pleased with the results of our calling 911 Wildlife. Michael is very knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, and professional, and we love that the process he used of removing animals from our attic was humane to the animals involved. We are also very happy with the eco-friendly rodent repellent we were supplied with - after Michael placed some in our attic, the offensive odors that had been building up and seeping into our living areas were almost immediately eradicated. It is wonderful to know that our attic is now securely sealed and to no longer hear any sounds or smell any odors from critters large and small wandering around up there.
Description of Work: Apparently a raccoon had broken into our attic, and possibly squirrels were also involved.

 + -1 moreMichael came out to check our attic and find the hole where the squirrel was entering, put in a one-way door over the hole. We never heard the squirrel again so it must have left the attic. Michael came back a few days later to seal the hole permanently. Extremely reliable. Great service.

 + -1 moreWhere do I begin? Well let's see, one morning I was walking around the house and heard a noise. Kind of similar to a dog scratching wood floors. When I looked up a critter had scratched or chewed through my ceiling drywall and drywall dust was falling on my pool table. So I stuck a pool cue in the hole to chase off the critter. I found brinker's animal removers number and they were at the house immediately. I spoke to who I believe was the owner Paul he was very helpful and insured me it was something they could handle, they did just that and beyond. Dylan was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Not only did they set traps and get the squirrel out of my attic. But they safely inspected every inch of the exterior of my home and sealed every point of entry. From masonry work to metal flashing that was painted the exact exterior color. And to top it off they plugged each weep hole with a wire mess to ensure mice or rats never squeeze into the property. This is probably too much info to write on a review but I'm extremely cautious when hiring contractors. These guys just went above and beyond and I can't say enough good things about them. I would recommend to family and friends anytime.

Amanda was so helpful and knowledgeable- straight forward and honest about options and costs. I did not use the company at this time- because I am trying a couple of their suggestions. I will definitely call them in the future for any issues. Amanda was a super star!

 + 0 moreWhen I first contacted 911 wildlife they responded very quickly. I spoke to Amanda the receptionist who was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding rodent issues and gave me some great tips. she scheduled me in with a technician Michael O. he was on time and very nice he assessed my home and my detached garage and quoted me $2,895.00 which he explained "this quote is if we do everything for you, but it can be customized to reduce the price" for example If I checked the rat traps instead of paying them to do it that would be an option. One of the major issues I had with this quote was that it clearly stated it did not cover/guarantee issues with rats. and that is most if not all of my rodent issue and this is why I was unable to have them service my home. as far as the removal of the dead rodent the price was $200. and it was in a very tight spot under my home but Michael did not bring his camera to locate it and he said they would more than likely need to break part of my wall to get to it and I would have to hire some one else to repair it. The service call is normally $35 but because I was an angies list member they had a coupon which covered the service call fee. I should also mention that my home is half on pier and beam and the other half on slab as far as the garage its all on slab.
Description of Work: 1. I needed a dead rodent removed from under my house. I have a rat problem. 2. I also needed a quote for making my home rodent proof.

 + -1 moreI'm so thrilled with the service I got from 911 WildLife! I came home from vacation and heard awful scratching noises coming from inside my fireplace/chimney. I wasn't even sure what to do at first but figured I needed to think fast before some poor animal died inside my chimney. I found 911 WildLife on Angie's List and called and talked to Amanda. She was friendly and very informative about their services and put me right at ease. They were able to send a technician named Chase to my home later the same day. Chase was also very friendly and professional. He inspected my chimney and then through a lot of hard work and determination got the squirrel removed through my fireplace. Even though it wasn't easy getting the squirrel out, he made sure to check to see that the squirrel was OK before releasing it outside. Then he made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. The charge seemed very reasonable to me. Thank you so much for the excellent service.

 + 0 moreAfter investigation, Devon determined that the droppings in the attic were old and the raccoon had been already been removed. This was subsequently confirmed by the previous owner. Devon checked for possible areas where an animal such as a raccoon or squirrel might be able to get in and determined that the exit hole from the previous animal had already been repaired and that no other entry points could be found. He was very knowledgeable and did not try to find some kind of work to be done where there was none, which was very much appreciated.
Description of Work: The cable guy discovered the droppings of a raccoon in our attic. 911 Wildlife came to investigate and remove if necessary.

When he and his co-worker Rob came back, they caught the squirrels and safely (and humanely) removed them from our house. Goodbye critters and good riddance! We are very pleased with the quick, professional, and thorough work! Also, the front office was very responsive and sent prompt communications. We HIGHLY recommend 911 Wildlife!!

 + -1 moreGreat. I had a squirrel in fireplace but not aware of the dead one still in chimney. When live squirrel was removed unharmed and technician tried to close flue, it hung. He discovered the dead squirrel lodged in chimney and removed it also. Rob was on time and the whole process didnt take more than 45 minutes. Five stars to 911 Wildlife!!!!!

 + -1 moreI had heard raccoons chattering inside a hollow tree in my back yard, and I was afraid that they were kits that had been orphaned after my dogs had killed an adult raccoon in the yard a couple of days earlier. When I called to see if they could help, an employee was quickly dispatched to my house. He had to climb a ladder in order to get close to the hollow section of the tree; once there, he ran a camera inside that allowed him to scope out the entire interior. Whatever raccoons had been in there were gone. He was very knowledgeable about raccoon behavior and helped put my mind at ease about the ones that had been in the tree the day before; it turns out that they were most likely juveniles who were capable of hunting and foraging for themselves. He also gave me some useful tips for ways to make my house and yard less attractive to wildlife -- things like not putting out excess birdseed or bringing the cat food bowl inside at night so that raccoons, possums, and other wildlife won't be attracted. I was very impressed by the responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism of everyone with 911 Wildlife, and the quality of service can't be beat.

 + -1 moreI was referred by city of Dallas Animal Control and being an Angie's list customer I always appreciate a referral or recommendation. Sadly I couldn't have been met by someone so rude and inconsiderate, Amanda. When asked simple questions like "does your company offer the following services..." I was met with a lecture about wildlife and how Amanda likes to do a broad education even if she knows a CUSTOMER has done research, and didn't ask where from. Glad to know she wrote the history but answering actual questions is appreciated. Followed by when I redirected to ask a question I was told animals are everywhere no one can escape them and then quickly hung up on simply because I wanted some questions answered and appreciated the insights about possums but also was looking for specific services. Apparently if no one can escape animals then this company shouldn't be in business. I would recommend anyone NOT use their services as they chose to have negative customer service practices ( ex: rude tone, hangs up on customers deliberately, and ignores customers questions).
