I had some scratching in my chimney. They sent someone out within 1 hour. They came out and found 2 raccoons. They got them removed with no harm and capped our chimney. They followed up to make sure the raccoons were gone.

He did an excellent job of been responsive and accomodative. He listened to my concerns and assured me that he will fix the issues the way I wanted and he did his very best. He is very honest, extremely smart and a nice guy to work with. I would personally request for Chase to come back to fix any rodent issues at my house in the future if I needed it. Thank You Chase!!! It was a very pleasant experience working with you.

.A definite A+ experience. I would certainly call them again if needed and would recommend them to my friends.
Description of Work: I called 911Wildlife on Friday 2/3/12 and a service person came to my home that day. I had a dead animal somewhere in my kitchen that was creating a horrible smell. It was behind my dishwasher behind the sheetrock. iIhad to call my contractor to remove the dishwasher which could not happen until the next day. The service person returned and removed a dead squirrel. He santized the area too. He also went on top of my roof to make sure there were no openings for another animal to find its way in again. The service was professional, courteous, personable and most reasonable for the amount of time spent. He reminded me of the coupon that Angies List provided: a defintie A+ experience.

After the inspection and discussion, I called my current provider to have them come out to perform the services. Marcus was very professional and helpful.
Description of Work: I had heard something in my attics, Marcus came out and informed me that it was rats and told me to contact my existing pest control provider since I was already paying them. He was very thorough and informative, did a thorough inspection to make sure there were no other types of critters and gave me great advice on controlling them. He said they could take care of it if other pest control didn't.

They walked outside perimeter of house with me, pointing out possible entry points for animals and told me I should have them caulked, which we have done. Very good experience, overall. I would use this company again.
Description of Work: We thought we had squirrels living in attic. Saw them jump from fence to our roof and heard them on roof. Fortunately, we were wrong - there was no evidence of animals in attic. They explained how roofs like ours transmit sound and it sounds like the animals are inside, when they aren't.

Excellent. Marcus fromm 911 wildlife was a very professional and honest person. He really bent backwards to do everything to help my situation. He was very concerned and committed in his mission to remove squirrels or rats that I suspect are living there. He did a very thorough exam on the exterior of the house and gave me tips on what all needs to me covered and than he climbed up my 2 storey roof to check for squirrel holes and he did not find any. He was very honest. If it was some money hungry company, they would have lied to me and ripped me off but 911Wildlife and Marcus was a company of integrity!!! He decided to install his own infrared camera on my attic to observer any rodent activity for a week. He came out 3 or 4 times to my place and finally the camera did not detect any rodent activity. Thank God!!! I would hire them again if I suspect any rodent activity again. He just charged me for the trip charge for the 1st time and all the other work he claimed that it's part of his job. Great job Marcus!!!!Thank You!

We had a great experience. Bonnie promptly returned my e-mail inquiry and answered my questions about our problem and scheduling. Her e-mails were thorough and helpful. Dave came out on time and was very polite and pleasant to talk to. He explained in advance what he planned to do, brought a ladder for attic access as I had requested over e-mail (we have no safe/easy way to get in that part of our attic right now and need one -- I actually asked them for advice/referrals for that too, and they had info for me!), inspected the item we thought had been chewed, inspected the outside of the house for possible animal access points, then went through our attic from one side of the house to the other doing an inspection. The end result was -- no animals in the attic! Dave was great about explaining each thing he had checked, what had likely caused the deterioration we thought was chewing, and what signs we would be looking for if an animal were up there. I was super relieved (and glad not to have to hire them right now!), but will definitely call them first if we have another suspected problem in the future, and will refer friends. Very happy. Thanks!!
Description of Work: 911 Wildlife came out to do an inspection after we found what we thought was a rodent/animal problem in our attic. They also e-mailed information and consulted over e-mail.

David from 911 Wildlife arrived around 11:45. The original appointment was at 11:30, but David called me ahead of time to let me know he was running just a little late. He inspected my roof and the outside of my house, and determined that the sounds we were hearing were not in the attic but on the outside of the roof. He said there was no evidence of any activity inside the attic, nor did he see any evidence of openings on the outside of the house for wildlife to enter. When I had a roof rat problem about a year ago, I had another company get rid of the rats and seal up all possible entry areas, and David confirmed that all their work was still intact. He even removed the traps left by this previous company, which, thank goodness, had remained empty. (I did not feel comfortable calling the previous pest service back for this service call because I felt they were a little expensive, were suggesting overkill solutions, and their servicemen were not on the same page when it came to the work that needed to be done, which I found out after the work had been done.) Because I was an Angie's List customer, the inspection was at no cost. David answered all of my questions and was very thorough during his inspection. He is a true professional and I appreciated his honesty during the inspection.
Description of Work: My daughter and I were hearing noises in our attic, and I asked 911 Wildlife to come out to inspect my attic and around the outside of my house for evidence of wildlife. I had had a roof rat problem about a year ago and was hoping that they had not found their way back in again.

After being told by my regular pest control service that I might have squirrels or some other critter in the attic, I searched Angie's list and found this company. They came the day I called. Jeff inspected the outside and the attic. He found two holes chewed out by something. Since the noises I had heard were occurring at night, he ruled out squirrels; the size of the hole led him to believe it was not a possum, but probably a rat. Yuch! He installed the one-way "door" and I put two large rat traps in the attic. After a week, there was nothing in the traps, and Jeff installed the permanent screen. After hearing noises again but finding nothing in the traps, I called them back. Jeff came out a couple of days later to inspect and this time there was a rat in the trap. (It is disgusting to even write that!). We have checked the traps daily since then and have found nothing else so far. Everyone I spoke with in the company was extremely helpful and professional. The first day I called, the owner emailed me some information about keeping a home free from wildlife.
Description of Work: The technician checked the attic, installed a one-way screen on an opening on the side of the house, installed flashing on another opening. He came back in a week and installed a permanent screen on the side of the house.

They are a great organization and have done work for a volunteer organization, as well as with me personally in humanely getting rid of a hawk and an armadillo. They are very knowledgable in healthy and effective relocating practices and when they need to step in to help rehabilitate an animal, they know what is necessary to make sure it is done well. They also refrain from using traps and chemicals and warrenty their work.

I am an animal lover. I have pets that are indoor and outdoor cats and some that are both. I had a problem with racoons and birds last winter. The birds spent the winter in my chimney and the racoons were under my deck and even in the attic some of the time. Well. I was concerned when I saw a racoon again in September. I looked around for options and I spoke to Denice at 911 wildlife. She was excellent. I was so impressed. She taught me over the phone how to "evict" the racoon. She gave me stategies that I used that made the animal basically go away. That's exactly what I wanted. There was no charge for that. It worked and within a week there was no more problem at all. After that was resolved, she sent a nice young man, Jeff, out to my house. He spent a great deal of time going all over my house evaluating the entire structure from the ground to the roof top. He made recommendations to secure all the openings that a potential animal invader would find attractive. A few days later he came back as promised and verified that there were no animals trapped anywhere. He then secured all the areas all of potential animal invasion into the house. Now, no animal can invade and damage it again. They provided a 10 year guarentee. Assuring me that if any point of entry was breached in the next 10 years they would fix it for free. I liked that they explained the reason they give such a strong guarantee is because they "did it right the first time". And they sure did. The invading aninmals are gone, no one was hurt and my outdoor pets were not inconvenienced or harmed at all. Perfect.

We had raccoons in our attic, and called 911 Wildlife to come out to remove them. They found evidence of the raccoons and their entry point, but unfortunately, they also saw that there were raccoon babies. This meant that they couldn't install a one-way door over the access hole, because the mother raccoon would be trapped outside and the babies would die, leaving a bad smell. So, they left me information on how to drive away the raccoons. I was successful using a combination of loud music from a clock radio and soaking tennis balls in ammonia and placing them around the attic. (The ammonia smells like urine to them and drives them away.) Within a week, it had worked, so they came back and installed a permanent cover over the hole to the attic. All in all, it was a relatively painless process to what could have been a very complicated situation. I'm glad we were able to remove the raccoons without killing them, and several months later, there are no more raccoons or other animals in the attic. The staff at 911 Wildlife were knowledgeable, professional and prompt, and I am very satisfied with the level of service provided.

911-Wildlife specializes in safely and effectively diverting animals who are causing harm in locations such as attics etc. In my case, squirrels had chewed through vent covers and were residing in my attic. Robert, one of the fantastic technicians at 911 Wildlife performed a thorough inspection and offered a viable and guaranteed solution to my problem without causing any harm to the squirrels! The follow-up of all of the staff was fantastic, and the cost of the services offered was beyond reasonable considering their guarantee and attention to detail. Sadly, because 911-Wildlife did such a great job, I won't have the opportunity to use them again in the near future, but I would highly reommend their services to anyone with squirrel "problems"!

They have been very good and their price is very reasonable. The service people show up when they say they will. They explain the services carefully and are good on follow up. I really enjoy working with them. They more or less evict the animals and make it so they don't want to come back. I will use them again in the future. It is important to know that they are thorough. They care about correcting the problem but not harming the animals.

I called 911 Wildlife, and Jeff placed a one-way trap over the entry point. The mother chewed through an attic vent to get back to her babies. Jeff came back out and we found the babies in the attic. We waited a couple of weeks for them to be old enough to venture out, and then he closed up the entry permanently and showed me how to easily modify the attic vents so no squirrels could get in there in the future. They were very responsive, knowledgeable, no squirrels were hurt, and the price was reasonable. They even sent me literature on squirrels via eMail. I wish more companies operated like this.

He was pleasant to work with and completed the assignment quickly.
Description of Work: There were noises coming from the chimney. 911 Wildlife placed a camera in the chimney and determined that a mother racoon had three babies in the chimney. He first considered a device that would allow the mother to leave the chimney, but not return. Then he could remove the babies. But after consideration, he decided to give the mother a chance to remove the babies herself. All of the commotion made the mother do just that. The animals were unharmed in any way. He then placed a cap on the chimney so that no other creatures could enter the chimney.

I got such an outrageous bid from another company (90% of which involved work not even related to animal removal) that I joined Angies' List, since I did not know any other "names" in this business. So 911 Wildlife was literally the first company I called, minutes after completing my Angies' registration. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, and explained why they arrived at a different "diagnosis" and plan of action than the other company. Eighteen months later, I called them back because I thought the squirrels had re-entered. The tech. checked the previous work, which was intact, and determined from droppings that I was now hearing roof rats, which were getting into the attic from a completely different access point. He refused to charge me for that visit, since he didn't remove any animals, but told me the name of the commercial-grade traps that I could get if I wanted to save money and set them out myself. All in all, a class operation -- but that doesn't even come close to the best of what they've done for me. In the record hot dry heat of June 2010, we had a RATTLESNAKE problem in the Taos, NM, neighborhood where we have a vacation home. It's at 7,000' altitude, and my neighbors had not seen rattlesnakes in the 20+ years they had lived there. I had one on my front porch one afternoon, and then 3 weeks later discovered that it seemed to be living under my front porch when it started hissing at my dogs through the boards in the deck. After the snake first appeared on my deck, coiled and hissing at my 2 barking dogs, the local animal guy set out "sticky paper" traps, which he said would trap any rattlesnake that was still around. We didn't catch anything but a gecko, which we released from the paper with some cooking oil. Definitely gave me a false sense of security, since we realized three weeks later that the snake had probably been hanging around the entire time. I couldn't get help anywhere; the single county agent for the area was on vacation and was overworked when he was in town. Neither the state university, the herpetological society nor the Albuquerque zoo could tell me what to do. A friend who owned a nursery told me a scary story about a nesting snake he had seen in a field one time and told me that I needed a king snake as a deterrent, but unfortunately you just can't go out and buy a king snake, and I don't know how we would have kept it in our 2-acre property anyway. In desperation, I called 911 Wildlife and was ready to fly one of their technicians out to NM. Bonnie talked me off the ceiling; explained why the snake was not nesting eggs under my front porch but had just taken the opportunity to acquire very comfortable habitat. First thing she told me was to take down any bird feeders in the hot months: Mice were attracted to the seed that fell on the ground. The mice then used the space under my front porch as a "highway" to get from the bird feeder on one side of the house to the feeder on the other side, and so created a veritable buffet for the rattlesnake, which I've read will wait as much as a couple of days for food. She then told me about the only proven snake deterrent, a garlic oil product that is made by the same company that makes a popular rabbit deterrent. The problem with this is that no store seems to carry it, so I never would have known about it if Bonnie hadn't told me. I immediately ordered it on-line. The product is not toxic, but so disorients the snake's sense of smell that they move on to more comfortable habitat. And although our house did smell kind of funny for a day or two after every time we sprayed the garlic oil -- it was worth it for peace of mind. I'm sure there are people who might scoff about the oil, but Bonnie's advice about removing the food incentive (the bird feeders) made so much sense. This was a major, major help to me during a time when one neighbor killed 3 snakes, another killed two, and a third neighbor's dog, who is deaf, got bitten in her front yard. And if we have another rattlesnake problem this summer, I AM going to try to get one of 911 Wildlife's snake experts to fly out there. The unacceptable alternative is not to use the house during the dry, hot months. And there are no comparable services anywhere in the northern NM/southern CO area. We might disagree on the proper disposition of a rattlesnake: 911 Wildlife would probably move it to an uninhabited area, while I'm all for blasting the thing with a .22 pistol loaded with snakeshot, but they really seem to KNOW their business, and have great integrity.
Description of Work: Evaluate what kind of animals were getting into the attic and how; remove same; secure all entry points. Same thing for crawlspace in a pier-and-beam house.

Randy was great. He even used our trim paint so that the metal he installed to close our eaves off would match the rest of the house. He was very professional and I would use this company again without hesitation! (Although I hope the squirrels don't return!) I had received a few estimates for this job and 911 Wildlife was the most reasonable and he quoted me on just what I needed done and not any unnecessary extras.
Description of Work: A neighbor told us that they witnessed a squirrel going into one of our soffits. There was also evidence of chewing on our eaves. Randy came and inspected the attic and roof of our home. He recommended closing up the eaves and he put up two of the one-way doors on our eaves to make sure the squirrels are not in our home. He came back to check on the doors and after a week removed those two doors and sealed up the remaining eaves.

I found 911 Wildlife through Angie's List and set up an appointment. Their technician Randy showed up on time and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Randy spent over an hour examining my roof and my attic space. He found several areas where squirrels had attempted to gain entry to the attic but found no evidence of animal activity inside the attic. Randy patched two small holes on the roof and sprayed the affected areas. Despite my insistence, Randy didn't charge me any fee since he didn't find any evidence of animal activity in the house. I will definitely use 911 Wildlife again and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Randy examined my roof and both attic areas for any kind of squirrel and/or rodent activity. He spent over an hour crawling through the insulation in my attic and didn't find any evidence of animal activity in the house. He patched two holes on the outside of my house and sprayed areas that he found on the roof line where squirrels had chewed.
