911 Wildlife

From making the appointment to the prompt arrival of the technicians 911 Wildlife has been courteous and professional. They listened to my description of the problem I was having, diagnosed the problem and helped solve the problem without any pressured sales for unnecessary work. Hopefully I have a rat free attic or soon will. If I have any further wildlife problems I will call 911 Wildlife.

They came back multiple times to rodent proof the house and set traps without charging us. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They came out on a Sunday afternoon to remove our unwanted houseguest. They did a great job and came out at times that most people wouldn't. Nick was amazing.

Their technician, Johnnie, is a heck of a nice guy and he did great work, but he?s totally unreliable and it took me 3 calls, and even then he never returned to remove the cages until over a month later. This company does not repair the wood that the animal chewed through - they just put a heavy gauge mesh over the hole, so technically ? bees could now set up a nest in your attic! However, I've seen my neighbors battle with getting rid of squirrels in their attic and they are paying ten times what I paid because they are using ABC Pest. 911 really does seem experienced and knowledgeable, and they performed the services they said they would, but had I known to ask "will you close the hole completely", I would have asked. Even though I still have to have someone else come out to patch the holes, their price is still fantastic.

Nick showed up on time, after calling first to tell us he'd be a minutes later than the scheduled 9:00 appointment time. He was extremely courteous, very knowledgable, and polite. We had discovered a hole in the stucco of our house on the second floor as well as a broken cement board. We thought an animal had done the damage but Nick could see no evidence of that. He photographed the damage and showed us what looked to be a hole caused by something falling on the house....(this remains a mystery). He inspected the house thoroughly, going all over the roof and checking all the peaks and valleys of the roof. He even crawled in the small attic space and reported seeing no signs of life or critter leavings....no funneling in the insulation; no droppings. He finally found a possible entrance hole near a drain pipe and quickly put mesh screening over it to seal it from any errant critter. I have every confidence that Nick took care of what could have become a real problem and we greatly appreciate his professionalism and polite demeanor. As to the unknown damage....well, hopefully whatever hit us is long gone! You can rest assured if we have any other similar problems, we will ask for Nick again.

We had been hearing noises in the attic--running, scratching, etc---daily for quite some time. We called 911 Wildlife and scheduled an appointment. The technician thoroughly examined the attic and found 4 entry holes and a squirrels nest. He closed up three of the holes and put a one way door in the last opening. It has been over 2 weeks and we have not heard any noises. He was professional and respectful of our home. He did not try to sell me any other services like insulation. We would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

I called 911 Wildlife and they came out the very same day. I wasn't charged a service call because I am a member of Angies List. The man that came out, Randy, was very knowledgable and helpful with my problems. He did a thorough check of my house, he set a trap that I already had and then set two other traps that he gave me to trap the animals/rodents in my attic. He didn't end up charging me anything as a member of Angie's List and said if I continued to have any problems, he'd come back out. If more work had been required, I'm sure I would've incurred a charge which I would've been happy to pay. This was such a pleasant experience after having another Animal Removal company/exterminator that ended up quoting me almost $9,000 for all sorts of services that I didn't have a need for. Would recommend this company to anybody.

Nick arrived just as promised, very quickly found the problem. Gave us a reasonable quote, and when approved, went right to work. He sealed all access points but one, installing a one way trap over the last one. Promised to return in a week to check the traps. My husband and I very much appreciate this company's response to our needs, and the service they performed. Will definitely utilize their services if the need should arise again.

I'm so glad I called them. They did a fantastic job for us.

I had squirrels in the attic. The service provider examined my roof to find the point of entry, placed a one-way trap there, and came back two weeks later to remove the trap and block the entry point. It seems to have worked. I do not hear squirrels playing in my attic any more.

I was hearing sounds in the attic that I thought might be animal related. I then saw a hole that had been made at the roof line. I called 911 Wildlife and they came out and inspected the attic. They didn't find any animals but to be sure they installed an exit trap in a soffit and baited it. After several weeks, there was no sign of an animal exiting and they removed the trap. I contacted another company to repair the hole in the soffit.

Professional, arrived early, more expensive than anticipated but low pressure sale. Will return next week to complete job (removal of one-way door in soffit and repair of soffit). Gave $50 service call discount for being Angie's List member.

I thought I had a raccoon in the attic, but it turned out to be something else, so I didn't actually need animal removal. Since I was a member of Angie's List, the estimate was free, and even though I didn't need any services, the tech was kind enough to point out some spots on my house that needed to be shored up to prevent future incidents. Tech was absolutely great, and the company displays great ethics. If I ever do need animal removal, 911 Wildlife is the company I'll call

They came out on time and inspected attic to verify that there were squirrels present. Once confirmed they made another appointment to squirrel proof our home which included an "exit door" and sealing all entry points so they could not get back in once they exited. They did a great job. This job includes a 10 year guarantee that if we have more issues with squirrels the cost will be covered.

What should have been done to correct the situation at the beginning was not done for several days - I was asked to climb up in the attic myself at one point to provide food and water for the animal to keep it alive. A different technician came out after a couple of complaint calls from me to their office and placed an exit door in eave. That seems to have worked - no more animal noises.

These guys are absolutely awesome! I've told everyone I know about them. Johnny took care of us. Great in every aspect. Love them.

We were incredibly happy with 911 Wildlife. Just to immediately address the thing that was our biggest concern: they are somewhat more expensive than other options, but you get what you pay for. We called and within a day Greg came out to assess our house for potential entry points. The service fee was waived for Angie's List members. Greg told me what he found, how he'd fix it (installing a one-way door), and how much it would cost in a straightforward manner- no scare tactics like you might get with some providers. He came out the next day to install the doors, and again a few days later when we were still hearing the animal in the walls. They had apparently been going down through a shingle that covered the hole, so Greg installed an additional door and that did the trick. When he called to check up on the work I let him know we were still hearing some scratching noises so he came a third time and stuck a camera in the wall. No animal was visible but we left a deterrent powder in the hole and my husband patched the wall later. Greg came a few days later to remove the one-way doors and patch the roof. So, to recap- gold star customer service, and a real solution to the problem, with a 10 year guarantee on the work (compare to other services that set traps and come to collect "whatever they may have caught"- how do you know another animal wouldn't just take up residence right behind the one they catch--if they happen to catch it?). I've already recommend them personally and would do so to any Angie's List member. Thanks!

Estimate was provided on the spot after checking attic and exterior. Price was several hundred less than estimates provided by "inspectors" with two other companies. This company was ready to do the work at the time of the estimate, which was desirable. Work that was done was to cover two holes in soffit where squirrels could enter/exit with wire mesh. For a 3rd hole, a one way wire mesh cage/door was nailed to the roof analogous to a doggy door, but only one way. Squirrel could exit out of house but not get back in. Worked that was perfomed was successful. Have not heard any more noises in the attic. The only thing that hasn't been completed is for the company to come back and remove the door and cover the 3rd hole with the wire mesh used to cover the other two holes. One thing to note, the work did not include a finished look. No wood repair, painting or anything. Just covered the holes. It's not the prettiest result where the work was done. This is not an issue for us but could be for others.

Two young men came to my house to locate and remove a dead animal. They were about 4 hours late due to a previous job that ran long. Once they arrived they quickly assessed the situation and were able to remove the dead opossum by cutting out a small section of my dining room wall. I was impressed at how they pinpointed the exact location of the animal and the section of wall removed was small (1 ft square). These two enjoyed their job and were a pleasure to work with.

I called and spoke with Theresa and told her we had animals in our attic that I suspected to be raccoons. She scheduled Marcus to come out the following day. He found a large hole through the shingles and decking of our roof (which he photographed and emailed to me). He provided a very reasonable quote and installed a one-way door that would allow the raccoons to exit but not re-enter. Marcus said they would almost certainly get out that night but he would wait a few days to retrieve the door. The raccoons made a lot of noise figuring out how to get through the metal apparatus but were out that night. We were very pleased with the quick resolution but about two nights later at least one of the raccoons returned. We called 911 Wildlife back and they were very happy to return to address the problem at no additional charge. It was in no way a failure of the original work. The raccoons had torn open a vent on the underside of an eave of the house to regain entry. Marcus moved the one-way door to the new location. We have been c***-free for a few weeks now. Marcus temporarily repaired the hole in the roof until we get a roofer to repair it permanently. He is to remove the trap soon and will repair the vent when he does. Theresa called to make sure we had heard no additional noises and said to be sure to call if we do so they can address it. We couldn't be happier with Marcus and Theresa and 911 Wildlife and will recommend them enthusiastically. 911 Wildlife removes the critters without harm to them, which we appreciated. We enjoy the wildlife. We just didn't want them moving in with us. As a note, Marcus also recommended a separate company to provide a quote for repair of all the damage the raccoons had done in the attic and to disinfect it.

. He encouraged me to take my dogs to the vetgo and check on the animal by myself and I wasn't about to send my wife out to do it. On the 30th I tried calling the city of Fort Worth's animal control department and got no assistance what so ever. I found 911 Wildlife on the internet and called them and they got a person, Randy, to our house in about 2 hours. Randy went into our backyard and the racoon was dead on our carport. He examined the animal and we discussed what he thought was wrong with the critter. He encouraged me to take my dogs to our vet to have them checked to be sure they didn't get wantever disease the animal had. I was so impressed with the way Randy accepted the fact that I couldn't see enough to do this for myself and he talked to my wife and I in plain english about his thoughts regarding the dead racoon. We will certainly be calling them again if we have another critter problem.

He was able to seal the house and ensure that the squirrel goes to the traps and no other squirrels come in. He will be returning in a couple of weeks to ensure that he has gotten the squirrel. We have not heard any squirrel sounds in the last week.

Possums were gone within a few days. I recommend this service for anyone wanting to be free of pests but also not wanting to kill them.

We thought we might have an opossum living under our house and so called 911 Wildlife. They were punctual and incredibly helpful. They inspected the entire outside of our house and then came inside. Turns out it was just a rat but they offered advise for getting rid of the rodent on our own.

They were pretty good. Overall, I was pleased. At the beginning they had some changes in the tech doing the work, but the guy that finished did a good job.
