He gave me all the options as far as making some holes in the wall to find the source of the odor. In the end I decided not to do it but to seal off the panel instead. He was very professional and did a walk around the house to look for openings where animals could get into the house. He then gave some further suggestions but no hard sell. No charge for the visit, very pleasant experience.
Description of Work: He searched for the source of an odor we were having in a closet. He isolated the smell to the wall behind the electrical panel.

Technician was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained what needed to be done.. He also did a thoroughly checked the rest of my house to insure there were no other areas that the squirrels could get in. They were very customer oriented with followup calls to make sure I was satisfied with their service. All work was done in a timely manor.
Description of Work: Squirrels had gotten in between my townhome and my neighbor's and had gotten into their attic. A oneway door was installed so the squirrels could get out but not back in. One week later the Technician came back and installed a permanent barrier so they would not be able to get back in.

There were at least three access points. 911 Wildlife found them all and blocked them even though it took several trips. They charged me twice for the service, but when I asked them to reconsider one of the charges (because all of the access points were old and they should have discovered them the first time) they refunded the charge. The personnel were professional and helpful. They did an excellent job.

Located the access point used by the raccoon and installed a one-way door (to allow the raccoon to exit, but not reenter). While doing a thorough examination of our attic, the technician also found a second access point being used by squirrels. He blocked off a gable vent with mesh wiring to prevent future access.

I called 911 Wildlife after a terrible experience with Berrett Pest Control. The technician was very knowledgeable about my situation and knew exactly what to do. He entered the attic and walked the entire perimeter. He identified 3 entry points on the outside of the house, and sealed all but one, to which he installed a one-way door to allow anything already in the attic to exit but not re-enter. He informed me that rather than squirrels, the culprits were probably rats, especially since the noise was heard at night, and squirrels are by nature very curious and would have come out to see what he was doing. . He also identified a potential disaster where the technician from Berrett Pest control sprayed foam into the vent opening of the gas dryer that was scheduled to be installed the following day. No noise for the next couple of nights so he came back to remove the one-way door and seal the entry point. He offered to paint the areas where the entry points were blocked, but I didn?t have any of the house paint. He also placed a couple of rat traps in the attic. He informed me that rats are very clever and will probably try to find another way in, but to be sure to call back if I heard any more noises. A few nights later I heard noises again; not nearly as busy as before but noise never the less, so I called them back. The technician came back out the following day and once again walked the entire perimeter of the attic. He reset one of the traps that had been tripped, but no sign of the rat. I explained how terrified I am of rodents, and he did what he could to assure me that rats don?t want to be where you are, which is hard to image when you hear them scratching to get in. So far so good, no more noises, and my sheer terror is now slight fear of the attic space. I highly recommend 911 Wildlife to everyone, especially if you have a healthy or not so healthy fear of rodents. I would definitely use them again without hesitation if necessary. You also get a 10 year warranty.

Armando came out and did a through inspection of the outside and garage of my home. He went over the areas that needed to be addressed and covered 5 or more areas of entry ways. There were 2 traps set in the attic and nothing yet in the traps. I have not heard anymore noises in the walls or attic, it's been a week and I can sleep now at night. Armando did a stellar job in explaining and informing me. He is very knowledgeable and would highly recommend his services. A plus... down to earth honest guy.

he did a great job. He came out on time, patched all the holes in the roof and fascia board, and built a one-way trap door for them to exit. After about a week, he came back and patched the last hole, and even painted all of the repairs with my existing paint so as not to show. He was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable.

Dealing with pests in your home is never a good thing. However, the team at 911 Wildlife make the process as easy and smooth as it could be. They are not the typical contractor that shows up late (in fact he was early every single time) or one that you have to confirm arrival with or that drag their feet on the job when they get there. From my first call the receptionist was pleasant, helpful and flexible with getting me on the schedule quickly. I have never gotten a voicemail but instead I get a live person each time I call. The rep who came out listened intently to all my concerns and educated me about the situation in my home and what he would do to resolve it. He was quick and through in a way that made me feel like the job was not rushed but that my time was valuable. The reps pointed out other issues with my home that potentially saved me a ton of money (leaking water heater in the attic). The reps went over and beyond to determine the source of my rodent issue which it turns out was from a corner of the roof left open when I got my roof replaced last summer. They are working actively to address it and I feel that their efforts are working. One satisfied customer here.
Description of Work: I heard scurrying between my first and second floor of my home. 911 Wildlife came in and secured all areas rodents used to enter and exit my home. They placed one way doors in some areas and sealed others. After a few days they came back at no additional costs to remove the one way doors and seal those areas as well. Traps were also set and baited in the attic area and in the space between my first and second floor.

They had removed squirrels from my attic 4 years ago. The man who did that really impressed me with his professionalism and knowledge. Some complicating factors required him to show a lot of perseverance which he did with a great attitude. Last week I heard noises again for a couple of days and thought that after 4 years the squirrels had returned to my crawlspace. I was disappointed to hear that the previous man was no longer with them, but they sent out Jose that same day. He was also excellent. He looked for points of entry. He found a loose board above my porch that was not a point of entry, but he secured it for me anyway. He found a vent that showed signs that squirrels or other wildlife had been trying to pry it up. It was right where I had been hearing the noises. He secured it and did a quick check of my crawlspace and found no evidence of entry including the traps from before that we're undisturbed. He didn't charge me saying it was part of the follow up from 4 years ago. If every business was like this and with the same quality employees, life would be a lot easier.

Rob was the service agent and did an outstanding job explaining the best way to mitigate the squirrel/rat issue. The squirrel had chewed a hole through the fascia board into the attic gaining entry as well as being a entry point for rats. Rob did a thorough inspection of the attic and decided on the solution to utilize. The problem was fixed quickly and professionally. I'm convinced that this area will not have any further issues. Good job!

This review is for Ian at the location in Plano. I had a animal in the attic which turned out to be a raccoon. I was surprised because we live in the city. I called three pest control companies. One never called back and the others gave me a price of $900 - $1,000 before even coming to find out the problem. Ian on the other hand, responded promptly, showed up when he said he would.and thoroughly inspected the attic. After placing roof vents he placed a one way door access so the animal could get out. He came back two weeks later to be sure the animal was gone. I really appreciated his professionalism and that this company doesn't destroy the animals but moves them to another location.

VERY impressed. Both problems seem to have been solved in a very effective and humane way. Johnny was very experience, professional, knowledgeable and likable. Will definitely call 911 Wildlife for any future problems that I have. If you have animal problems, I would strongly recommend that you call them.
Description of Work: I had two different animal problems. The first was a possum had had babies in the walls of my house. The second was that I had squirrels in the rafters of an outdoor kitchen that were repeatedly destroying the wiring of the kitchen's lighting system. Johnny from 911 Wildlife found where the possum was entering and leaving my house and installed a one way door over the hole. When the mother possum left the house that night, she could not get back in. The babies were stuck under the main stairs in my house. Johnny was able to open the stairs enough to remove the baby possums and was able to repair the stairs. With respect to the squirrel problem. Johnny found four baby squirrels in rafters of the outdoor kitchen. He made a temporary nest out of a water jug and installed it outside of the rafters, expecting the mother squirrel to retrieve the babies that night. He put the baby squirrels in the new nest and apparently the mother squirrel came and got them as they were gone the next morning. He also took steps to ensure that the squirrels would not enter the rafters again.

The areas where 911 Wildlife believed the rodents were entering have been closed off, but the problem still isnt' resolved.
Description of Work: My tenant heard an animal in the attic. We believed it was a squirrel but 911 Wildlife came out and determined that it was more likely rats or mice. He set and baited traps. He was prompt and professional. Unfortunately, the traps still haven't caught the rat, so I'll be calling him back today.

We had (well... still have) squirrels in our bedroom wall. They had gotten in through a hole in the eave of the house, we tried to patch the hole but the squirrels gnawed a new hole through it. They also started scratching/gnawing the drywall and created a hole inside the house. I had to screw a piece of plywood to cover the hole up to prevent the squirrels from getting in. So I called 911 Wildlife to help me solve the problem. I called on a Tuesday and they scheduled my inspection for the next day. They waved the inspection fee since I was an Angie's list member. The inspector inspected the attic, walked around the house and climbed on the roof to find areas where the squirrels might be getting in. He determined the squirrels were accessing the wall through the hole in the eave and installed a one way door. The plan was that the mom squirrel would leave during the day to eat/drink and when she got back and couldn't get back in she would be very upset. I would then call him back so he could open the door and let the squirrel back in. At which point she was supposed to get her babies out of the wall and move them elsewhere. We did this but it didn't work. So I called back, and the process was repeated. Didn't work again, called back, repeated the process. Third time we didn't hear anything for a couple of days so he went ahead, removed the one-way door and patched the hole with sheet metal. The next morning we heard the squirrels again scratching our wall. I called again and he seemed skeptical, maybe I was hearing scratching on the outside, but said to call him back if that wasn't the case that he would come back. That evening we heard the scratching again, my husband removed the patch at the eave to find a squirrel staring at him. At this point a week had passed and we still had squirrels in our wall. I gave up on 911 Wildlife and am hoping the squirrels will leave on their own once the babies get bigger. The gentleman that did the work was very nice and had offered to come back if the problem wasn't solved but after a week of back and forth I didn't have much confidence that the problem would be solved. I feel I threw away $350. Everybody I dealt with at the company was very nice, polite and professional, which I appreciated very much. My low rating is based on them not being able to provide the service I hired them to do. I feel not having the problem resolved in over a week is not acceptable... UPDATE: Since posting this review the owner gave me a call. She was concerned about the low score and hoped I would have contacted them prior to posting it to give them a chance to resolve the problem. She has offered a full refund, and I am very grateful for that. Perhaps I should I have called them first; but I felt I did give the company a chance, I gave them over a week to get the problem resolved and it wasn't. I greatly appreciate the refund so I have revised the overall rating to a B.

My wife woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of an animal gnawing in our attic or on our roof. She hates rats and cockroaches more than anything on earth, so I sprang into action. Our worst fears would be that we had rats in our attic so I wanted to engage a company that was experienced in these matters. Price was not my main concern, results were. I turned to Angie's List to gather information and after looking at reviews and websites of several pest control companies, decided 911 Wildlife was who I needed. The individual who answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Jose arrived on time, was professionally dressed and well mannered. He took time to understand what our issue was and then gave me an education on the lifestyles of rats and squirrels. We spent time in our attic looking for signs of vermin and then made a thorough inspection of our homes exterior to look for entry points. Jose concluded that my wife likely heard a rat that was on our roof rather than in our attic. He saw no signs of droppings or damage in our attic or entry points outside. That said, he wanted make sure my wife was comfortable and placed a very effective looking trap in our attic just to make sure. He said he would be out in a week to check the trap. I decided to monitor the trap myself and am happy to report the trap is untouched after a week. I called Jose to give him a report and told him to send me an invoice for his initial visit and the trap. He told me that 911 Wildlife love Angie's List customers and that because I found them on AL, there would be NO CHARGE unless we caught something in the trap. I will keep monitoring but think we are in the clear. Needless to say, I am very happy with my experience. Thank You 911 Wildlife!

They were great and they did their job. They were on time. What I liked about them was that they were really good about my time. They met me at lunch, so I could come out and they handled my issue. They were very professional. I only had to meet with them one time. They actually put up a one way door to get a raccoon out of my attic and then when he was gone, they came back a different day to take the door off. I didn't have to be there when they took it out. That's what I liked about them - they didn't make me do a whole bunch of stuff.

I asked about sanitizing the attic after the squirrels were removed. The owner and the agent who answered the phone told me it was unnecessary. I told both of them I wanted it done. I specifically asked if they did this service. The agent said yes. When I drilled down she gave me to the owner. I asked where it was on their website. Bonnie, the owner, said it was not on the website as it was unnecessary. I said "in my mind" I want it done. She said they would remove my insullation. I said I wanted it santized. She said that other companies that offer this were ripping me off and they don't do that to customers. I asked again if they provide sanitation services and she said no. She flipped on me. Both said they provide the service and then the owner changed her mind at the end of the conversation. I said goodbye and will not use their services.

They came out and stated it was either rats or squirrels. Quoted $550.00 to seal up all the entry points and place 3 baited traps for rats. They also installed an exit door in case it was a squirrel and did that before they set the traps so the squirrel could get out. After the traps were set, we caught a large rat and that was the end of our critter noises. They are not the cheapest company but were very thorough and very professional. I would use them again. Their price also included coming back out to remove the critter once. I didn't ask them to do that since I knew they were coming from so far....had a friend do that for me.

I was hearing activity in the attic and found skat up there too. I figured I had squirrels. I identified entry points on the roof and decided it was better to have a professional seal these off. I called 911 wildlife and had an appointment in just a couple of days. John arrived on time and was very personable and knowledgable. He checked both outside of the house and in the attic. After the attic inspection, he felt that I likely also had rats. He suggested a one way door so the squirrels could get out, but not get in. Then once the squirrels where gone, traps would be set to take care of the rats. I opted to pay for just the one way door and closing off potential entry points. While the cost of this service seemed a little high, it was worth it to save me from being perched precariously on the roof while trying to get the wire mesh up under the eves. The 10 year warranty is also a nice plus. Unfortunately, John was not prepared and had to leave to get washers to attach the metal screens with. He was gone nearly an hour to do this even though Home Depot is only a mile away. He did a thorough job installing the material though. I opted to pass on their rat trapping service since they were charging $175 for 3 traps and one return visit to dispose of anything caught. Since I am not squeamish when it comes to rodents, I opted to do the trapping and disposal myself for a mere $12. As it turns out I've only caught 1 and I'm guessing others utilized the 1 way door.
