1st Class Heat & Air

Called on Sunday. Technician arrived quickly. Diagnosed the problem, had supplies on his truck and was able to have heat working quickly. Technician was very professional.

I called 1st Class Heat & Air and they came out same day I called within a couple hours of my call. They replaced a part for me and had my a/c unit running great in no time and they were very professional. I would recommend them to everyone.

Technician arrived on time. I first explained the issue and showed him the HoneyWell thermostat that was blank. He and I walked thru the steps to determine the root cause: He checked the units inside the house and we walked outside the house to check the units. He flipped a switched upstairs in the attic. We went downstairs and the thermostat was working ! The display showed all the information: days of the week, temp in the house, setting of the thermostat and it was reading 'Ready'. I was excited and thought the visit was over: Then the technician said we had to wait for the thermostat to 'reset'. I said no problem. I waited with him for a few minutes and the thermostat was still working - display on 'bright green color'. I walked away for a few minutes to go fix my minor daughters breakfast. I went back to check on how things were going and he had taken my thermostat off the wall and told me that it went blank again ! He said I have to replace my thermostat! I was very shock. I asked what happened, he said it's a shortage in your thermostat and you will need to replace it. I asked if they perform the service of installing a thermostat (I was not expecting this service) and he said yes and he needed to go to see if he had one in the truck. He returned with a Vive thermostat. I immediately told him that I did not like that one because it was not the quality of my HoneyWell and it just looked cheap! He said they use that one all the time. I accepted it because I had not choice at that time. He told me the total price: thermostat and service call - $264.90! I was shocked but I needed to cool my home with two minor daughters. After he left, I realized he took my thermostat. I called 1st Class Heat & Air and requested the dispatch/staff to have the technician to return my thermostat. I specifically told him that he did not have my consent to take my thermostat. He said he will have him to return it and place it on my porch. I went online to check to see how much the HoneyWell thermostat will cost because I am planning to replace that low quality Vive thermostat. I have two units so I was able to view the exact HoneyWell model on line plus I had the model/patent no from when I call the HoneyWell Customer Service. I check the Vive thermostat that he sold me also. I was very disappointed to see it was less than $30.00 dollars ! He replaced my HoneyWell digital touchscreen thermostat with a low quality thermostat and price gouge me ! And he still has not returned my HoneyWell thermostat. This is how customers loose trust in companies: I actually told the technical that I will call and schedule a maintenance check for my furnace. After this horrible incident, I'm deleting their number from my phone list and will not call them again. I will never trust 1st Class Heat & Air: They have loss a repeat customer and I will never refer them to a friend or family.

Fast friendly service from the phone call to the office to the technician that was sent out. I really appreciated them calling when on way so I didn't have to air at home and wait. Thanks again for taking care of our needs.

Same day service. Turned out all we needed was freon in both! He filled us up with a total of 5.5 gallons over 2 days (he ran out the first day and had to come back with more). Very friendly and professional. We were grateful for his honesty!

I had a hard time getting anyone to return a call for service on Sunday morning, let alone having someone actually pick up...which is what Dan did! The service fee was half of what others were charging, and quickly had someone scheduled to come out in a few hours (3). Dan and Rick (tech) were extremely understanding and helpful answering my questions to better help me understand what was going on. Rick diagnosed the problem and fix it in no time at all, and considering it was a Sunday (meaning they could have really hiked up the price as I had no other options) they were very fair on the cost. Thank you both for your help1

The p***** me the h*** off because soon after they left, you know, after they gave it a good bill of health. I actually paid them more because I have two units, and after they left, a couple of weeks later, the f****** thing broke down. So, I had to pay about $500 for them to replace a part. And since I didn't trust them about the first one, I had them replace the piece that actually holds the charge. The guy was like, "if they would have checked it, they would have been here longer than 30 minutes and they would have saw that the capacitor was bad. I had both capacitors replaced and the d*** thing charged up. It was $484 per air conditioner. I paid $35.99 on the first one and like $50 because they didn't give me any discount on the second one. They gave it a good bill of health. Two weeks after that, the air conditioner died, pretty much. I didn't call their a**** back because they did a s*** job. If they would have known what the F*** they were doing in the first place, this s*** wouldn't have happened. The other guy that came over here, which I didn't use Angie's List, I used neighborhood-whatever because the s*** happened at night. I didn't want to go on Angie's List looking for somebody to come here after hours because my air conditioning had just gone out. I had already gotten screwed so I wasn't going to do the same thing twice. I learned the first time. I would give an "F" on price because they didn't do what the h*** they were supposed to do. If they would do what they were supposed to do, I wouldn't have had to call someone else out to fix what they had missed. They responded pretty quick. They responded quick to the phone call and they came out when they said they were. Actually, the guy came out early. For professionalism, he lied. He was done very quickly. I was like, "did you check it?" And the other guy that came after him from the different company said, "if he would have checked this stuff, he would have seen the reading on this voltage and blah, blah, blah whatever and this one over here, the freon was low". H*** no, I would not use them again. I would tell my friends and family to use somebody else.

Service performed within 3 hours from initial call. Excellent work

It went well. They showed me where multiple "band-aids" had been applied to get "one more summer." It was time and they had it replaced by the end of the day.

1st class heat and air came our quickly and assessed our AC issue. Within the same day our AC was fixed and our house was cool again! All work was purposeful and the pricing was more than fair. I would absolutely recommend!

They came out right away and tested it. It needed replacement parts and they got them the next day, installed everything in under an hour and didn't even charge me! My house is cold again! I will continue to use them and recommend to friends/neighbors.

They came out same day and the tech (Ricky) was knowledgeable and professional. Honest AC company. Didn't try to up-sale me on unnecessary services and just explained everything to me in easy terms so I could understand. He was on time and in and out in 30 minutes even with all my questions. Laura was the one who answered the phone and handled the scheduling. She was very professional and courteous and fit me in to a time that worked perfectly for me. I defiantly found a company I'll be using more often

Excellent - First Class showed me there were no repairs needed and explained how the system works, and what to watch out for and steps to take to make the system last longer. I highly recommend them!

Found 410A low by 6-7 lbs. Told me needs to check leakage with dye colouring that cost $225 and then check back in a couple of weeks. Charge $59.99 /lbs. I did not like the recommendation without solid evidence to check leaking. After all it has been 8-9 years that the A/C has been heavily used. Price for 410A too high.

They were on time and quick. Made the repair, no sales BS, just straightforward getting it done. I was concerned with a minor issue and unexpectedly, they came back out the same day to give everything a look. Definitely a company I will be recommending and using in the future.

They responded quickly by sending out one of their best repairmen, as they always do. (We have used them previously as well, as their team are always clean and professional.) We had a very unique issue arise from some corrosion, which I believe other companies would have missed. They could have told me anything, but this nice guy showed me what the problem was and suggested we start there to see if this simple repair would do the trick, which was great for our budget. It is so great when you have an AC/Heating company you can trust. I would send this company over to my mother's house.
