I appreciate the opportunity to discuss the services we offer at Arrow Oak Electric LLC. In my 30+ years as a licensed electrician, I've worked on everything from simple residential and commercial installations, to the 65-story Transco Tower in Houston (now called the Williams Tower), to the South Texas Nuclear Project in Bay City and Houston's Intercontinental Airport. Before moving to the Hill Country, I worked most recently for the city of Houston as an electrician, instrumentation technician and contract manager.
I moved to the Hill Country in 2000 and went into business for myself just over eleven years ago. Since then I have been fortunate enough to establish a fine reputation in Bandera County and beyond. I encourage you to request and contact my references to discover more about Arrow Oak's standing in the community and the work that we do. Though we are listed in the Bandera and Hill Country Yellow Pages, we find the majority of our projects come from word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied clients.
I hold a State of Texas Master's License and a Texas Electrical Contractor's License. I am bonded in all of the nearby municipalities which require bonding, including San Antonio and Kerrville. I carry ample business liability insurance which I am grateful to say I have never had to use. Any subcontractor employed by this company carries an apprentice license, at a minimum, and all electrical installations are supervised on the job site by me personally.
I consider my bids to be contractually binding. I often hear stories of other contractors who bid a project at one low price, only to quit and demand more money before the job is finished. That is something that will never happen with Arrow Oak. I pride myself on keeping in constant communication with our clients and for staying on the job until it is finished to the customer's satisfaction. My work is done in compliance with the National Electrical Code and is completely guaranteed. My bids are good for 30 days unless a dramatic swing in the price of copper or other materials occurs during that time. I ask my customers to sign a contract at the beginning of any new project. The contract stipulates 50% of the bid price as a down payment, 25% of the bid price at the completion of rough-in, and 25% of bid price when the trim-out is finished.
My bids are based on using copper wiring as well as the highest quality materials available. On some occasions, aluminum wiring may be an acceptable alternative to copper. If the customer is interested in finding ways to work within a budget, we are happy to discuss alternative methods of installation to find the most cost-effective and safe way to do the job. Bids are based on written plans submitted to Arrow Oak and changes made during the course of the installation sometimes result in amended pricing. Bids do not include light fixtures, fans, vents, dimmers, or smoke detectors.
