Clint worked with us on design, materials, and permit information. Very professional in his approach to the work. Stayed in constant contact with us during permitting phase; was at job site every day! Worksite clean and orderly. He spent an entire day matching house paint to new addition, including the staining of the rough cedar areas. Have recommended Texas Deck Kings to several others.

This company did a great job! I strongly recommend them for any decking or porch project. Owner Clint Fisher works directly with his clients and visited our project often. He was very responsive and always answered my calls. The construction crew was very professional and respective of our property. The job site was cleaned up and straightened up every day after work. I will be recommending Texas Deck Kings to all of my friends.

They weren't very responsive and were a little expensive. The workmanship that they did was very good.

Clint and his team had some troubles with weather when we started in Nov 2014. We worked through weather issues, his firing of one team that he wasn't happy with and medical issues he had. We were patience and the deck was finally completed in January. In April-May we complained the finish of the deck was looking bad and it took several attempt to reach Clint to get him to address the situation. He sent one if his team out and declared it was fine. We persisted and it took until August for Clint to come out and take a look at our deck. It seems that with the heavy pollen this year the oil used to treat the deck was worn off when we used the smallest power washer on the lowest setting, with no soap to clean the pollen off. Clint mentioned that other clients had the same problem this year. He suggested stripping the deck and re-applying the oil. For this he wanted to change $1000. Given that the deck is less than a year old, we have been stating that there is a problem with the deck finish since June, changing $1000 more when the materials would cost around $100 suggests the Clint is done with dealing with this issue. I did respond to this offer and ask for a more reasonable quote. No response was given. SO, we are out $12,000 and about a year of time. The deck will end up looking good once we strip it and re-oil it (we hope). But the process was extremely frustrating and drawn out.

He has an excellent sense of design aesthetics, a strong attention to detail, and followed through with everything that he said he would.
