I really saw a change in my electricity usage which is nice.

They showed abundant fairness and integrity in dealing with and rectifying a situation that arose with the service.Although there were some issues with the transaction initially, they won me back by handling the issue with integrity and class. I would use them again. There was a set of initial miscommunications about pricing of what they were doing, actual services needed, and their availability to provide the repairs, which caused me initially to be dissatisfied with the price paid for what I received. However, they were incredibly gracious and responsive when we discussed the issue, they acknowledged the validity of my point of view and concerns and they fully and completely satisfied my concerns and left me with a very positive impression due to their willingness to acknowledge and rectify the issue. Overall, the way they handled the issue was TOP-NOTCH! I would say that they should be a model for how to handle a problem when it arises. I respect and greatly prefer to deal with a company like this, which deals with its issues in an upstanding and direct manner. Kudos to management for turning a problem into an opportunity to keep a customer.

I give them a B because they didn't have the part in stock, they had to go and pick up the part. It was good.

It went very well! They did a good job! It didn't take them long, and they cleaned up after themselves, left me very satisfied!

The only good thing I can write is the original plumbers that came back a month later after the Thanksgiving break saw the mistakes and replaced the mistakes. At least I hope they did it right! This company needs to hire a communications manager. If I had received ANY communication even an email of the status, I would hot have spent my time while at work to talk to them to get dispatch ladies that don't have a clue the status of my job. Horrible communication both to me and within it's own company. Finally after the original plumber called the regional manager did I get some service. It took OVER A MONTH for them to complete a job that should have been complete 2 days after the city did their part. Luckily for me when the original plumbers that was there Before Thanksgiving came back right before Christmas and saw the mistakes and the ditch left and fixed them. If the second string of plumbers and the "supervisor" that was only concerned with getting the paperwork completed to get paid (Who by the way HOUNDED me to sign the finance paperwork before the job was finished) was left to inspect the job I would be dealing with an awful job that was not correct. Don't hire this company. Really over a month to finish the job. In the end they took all the bad clay soil that was below the top soil to the top so I have a ditch with no top soil. It took over a month for me to find out that the line was looked at with at camera and there was not any more work to do. I had to wait OVER A MONTH of holding off my finances for other issues the flood caused to wait for COMMUNICATION of the results for a service that was already provided. My neighbors agree after seeing their truck in my yard so many times.... do not hire this company.

My heater was not working so called strand brothers to replace it. The plumber saw a leak in the piping and said that needs to be replaced. In the process of doing that he broke the main water inlet coming into the house. The entire house was flooded and they did not even had the equipment to turn of the city water supply. Luckily there was another plumber who was working in my neighbors house who had the equipment to shut off water to the house. The plumber left after the water was turned off which btw wasn't even done by strand brothers plumber. Drying the house was left to the HVAC guys and me, and the plumber left. I already was sick with cold was mopping the frigid water in the house to try and save as much of the house as I could. The drying company is drying the house now and I am basically left to stay in the hotel of next couple of days. The plumbing supervisor is super rude and not even ready to accept any responsibility, it has come to a stage where he has started mocking me when I try to get answers. It is really frustrating working with this company. I need more information on what has to be done to fix my house back to a condition in which I can go back living in it. I understand it was an accident on their part but they should take responsibility for their actions not keep blaming it on the plumbing. I am really frustrated and stressed out by this entire situation. I should have never hired such an un professional company in the first place. Should have gone with a better company which would have done the job better and more professionally. Nobody should hire this company for any plumbing work. I never write reviews but this is one of the worst experience that I have had working with any company. I which there was a way to give negative star this company they don't even deserve the one star that I am forced to give them.

Juan and his team did a very thorough job. The installation needed specialized customizations that were done personally done by the team lead. The three member team was efficient, precise, courteous and accommodating. My recommendation: ask for Juan if you want a professional installation.

Kim went the extra mile for us today and filled in the Texas Gas paperwork for a furnace rebate. Thank you Kim!

I paid for your special of a "$99 Sewer Camera inspection, Drain Cleaning, and Credit" Plumber arrived after 6:00 p.m. to complete the contracted job. I informed him that I had a slow drain on a toilet in the rear of my property. He inspected the toilet and informed me that he did not have the equipment to complete the job. He was there to relieve a clog drain. He informed me that I would be contacted the next day by another plumber. It has been over two weeks and I am still waiting to be contacted.

I have used Church Services for all of my AC, Heating, and Plumbing needs since moving to Austin 5 years ago. They have always provided high quality professional service. From the folks who answer the phone to schedule services to the knowledgeable technicians, all of my experiences have been positive. They really do work hard to have satisfied clients. The installation of my new equipment went off without a hitch - willing to work with my schedule to find day(s) that worked for me. Even though it was a big, messy job, the technicians took great care to cover my floors and limit any mess or inconvenience. The equipment worked flawlessly. However, a few weeks later, we discovered water leaking and determined it was coming from somewhere adjacent to the HVAC and hot water heater equipment in the attic. Church Services went above and beyond to resolve the water leak issue that was extremely difficult to locate and repair. While we are not sure if the leak was related to the new equipment they had recently installed, Thomas and Fred (managers) coordinated and picked up the tab for all the necessary repairs. This was proof to me that even when something goes wrong, they stand by their word and make sure that the customer is treated well. I highly recommend Church Services!

Our HVAC stopped worried correctly today - we realized it was only blowing hot air when the temp in the bedrooms climbed to the high 80s. We have a home warranty in place but the company they use wouldn't be able to schedule a call until the office opened again the next day (even one night with no AC in a Texas summer is bad for a family!). I decided to just wear the cost and call someone out - I found Strand Brothers has 24/7 service so I called around dinner time and their office told us they could have someone out that night and their tech called and told us he would be there in 30 mins (so about 1 1/5 hours after the initial call). He diagnosed and had the problem fixed within 30 mins (blown capacitor - this thing was like a lump of rust I'm surprised it worked AT ALL!). He explained the system was only really limping along (it was original to the house build 18 years ago so we suspected this) and how the internal install wasn't to code (again our home inspector had noted this). He offered to have one of their reps come out and carry out an obligation free quote on a new system which we will do. Very nice friendly tech (to be honestly I was expecting some grumpy tired tech when it was the middle of the night so was pleasantly surprised!). The fact we didn't have to break the bank to have it fixed also put me in a much better mood than just a few hours before. If we can afford it we will use Strand for the new system unless a miracle happens and the home warranty actually pays for a new one.

The technician was very unprofessional from the start. From the second he walked in the door, he started talking about selling me an annual maintenance contract. I told him I would consider it but just wanted the drain line fixed for now. He cut the drain line of the unit that was NOT clogged (he did this before I could go see what he was doing in the attic) and put a clear piece of pipe there "so we could tell if it's clogged". I told him that unit wasn't even the one that was clogged and he said "I know, but we should put this in for the future." Never even asked if that was ok. Then he went to fix the clogged drain line. Attempted to blow it out with air and said it was "fixed". I was skeptical given that the same company had someone out a few months ago to clear out the drain line of our other AC unit and he had a snake and all to actually clean it out (and did a wonderful job, by the way). Before he left I asked about adding Freon to the units. He actually took a pen thermometer out of his pocket and stabbed it into the ductwork in the attic to measure the temperature! I couldn't believe it. I said isn't that going to leave a hole for cold air to come out. He said, "Well, yeah, but it's a small hole. It won't matter." He pulled out the thermometer and the cold air was rushing out of the hole. He felt it and said "Yeah, that actually is a lot of air. I can put a piece of tape on it." Then he said it didn't need any Freon and he was done. He never came back up to the attic to put the tape on and I figured at this point I would just do it myself when he left. About a week later I checked the drain pan and sure enough, there was water in it again that was not draining out through the drain line. Called them up and no one seemed to care at all. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told no managers were there and I would get a call back the next day. No one called the next day. I called again and asked for a manager. Transferred to voicemail. Left a message. He did call back once and left me a voicemail and said to call him back. I have tried 3 times since then to call him and get his voice mail every time and he does not call back. The last time I said I would have to dispute the credit card charge and move on and still no response from him. I have used this company in the past and was always pleased with the work. So I figured this was just an issue with this particular technician, which is understandable. BUT, the fact that they refuse to talk about what happened and do not seem to care is evidence of a much more disturbing issue at this company. It's not just one bad technician, unfortunately. it's a complete lack of customer service and professionalism. For that reason, I would not use this company again. You may get a good technician and all may be ok, but if you don't, it's a bad situation.

Strand Brothers Service Experts ("Strand") has not only met but exceeded our expectations. The schedulers are super. . .they really work with you to schedule at a convenient time. We couldn't ask for nicer service people to come service the unit either--they're always on time and very professional. As noted above, Strand came out to do our annual tune-up on our air conditioner. They found a problem with the drain pan. They came back and fixed it with no charge. We pay $228.00 per year for two units and they come twice each year--once in the Spring for the air conditioner unit and once in the Fall for the heater unit. We really feel like we get our money's worth. This is the second time in 3 months that they've had to replace something on our 9-year-old unit, and the first time it was also covered under warranty. We couldn't be more pleased with them and plan to continue doing business with them in the future.

Explained my issues in detail and was told someone would call me in the morning about an appointment. No word by 9 am, called them and they said they would call me when on the way. 1130am, on the way 45 minutes out. 1245 the guy walks in and I point out the exact problem and he says oh.. you need a plumber not an ac guy. Fired on the spot and called someone else. I had 1300.00 worth of plumbing work done by this company a couple of years ago and was satisfied on all fronts. Never again.

I have used Strand Brothers for years and never really questioned the suggestions they gave me, until now. It definitely feels as if the are suggesting work, just to up-sell you and that it may not all be totally necessary. We moved in to a new house and have been having airflow issues with our upstairs A/C unit. I called Strand Brothers out for my semi-annual maintenance check and to look at the upstairs unit. They basically said that the entire duct work needed to be replaced and quoted me $6300 to do it right and get our upstairs cool again. It seemed high so I called out another company recommended by a friend and their assessment was that what we had could absolutely be worked with and repaired and for a fraction of the price (<$1000). Then, during that assessment we also found that Strand Brothers, who had just been out and replaced my filters, actually installed a new filter over the old (very dirty) filter which was actually starving our upstairs for even more air. Made me really question their "replace everything" suggestion. Needless to say, I've cancelled my maintenance agreement and will be going elsewhere from now on.

The guy that came and did my air conditioning last week was really good. It was a two-process because he had to order this part and then he came out and he did some work for me on the side so they're really good. They're very helpful and very friendly. He showed me everything he was doing, every part of it. He called the company that made the air conditioning unit and he said that it's been out-serviced for over seven years. That's the reason I got Church because this guy even came out on a Sunday to check it out to make sure that whatever it was he put in there to make it work was working so I wouldn't be hot. For what he did, I think it's a good price because he had to order the part and it was a big part and I don't hear any noise coming out of the air conditioning unit now or the heater. I've been using them for five years.

Carlos Ramos was very professional. We have a lowboy waterheater in our attic. He let us know that after April 15th, new laws were going into affect about the size of the water heaters, etc. and we would not be able to get another one that would fit through our current attic door. He talked about various options. Anyway, it was good to know. He showed us the horrible build up in our water heater due to the hard water. Our current heater is already over a quarter filled with mineral deposits.

It is quick to get appointments. They are really professional. They have good service and good work.

We contacted Strand Brothers through the Costco AC replacement program for Lennox. Strand Brothers was prompt in scheduling an estimate. While we thought the information on the Lennox system was adequate, we were unhappy with a number of things: The estimate, which would be our contract with this company for approxiamtely $10,000 worth of equipment and labor, was extremely messy, including crossed out numbers and math that we could not replicate to get to the total cost. We consider that very unprofessional and a red flag for future conflicts over cost. We got a very hard sell to purchase the equipment that day. At the level of cost for the replacement system, I do not consider that appropriate. If we wanted to purchase an AC from a used car salesman, we would go to an auto lot. We got a follow up call the next day offering an additional amount off the price if we would agree to purchase right then. Desperation is not pretty. In a last attempt to work with the company, we requested a cleaned up estimate that had clear pricing including all the discounts that they had verbally offered us (but were not on the paperwork). We did not hear back from the company. Nothing - no more phone calls or emails. Buyer beware. Estimates are contracts for work - if they are not clear and correct, you will regret it.

My experience with them went great. I really like the technician they sent. He did a great job. I've used them before for air conditioning and heating. I would tell others to go ahead and use them. They're great. I like the service and generally, the pricing. The pricing is usually pretty good.
