They were really good.

Luis was very prompt in giving us an estimate. He was punctual and quick. The best part was that they also do landscaping work so we also got dillo dirt delivered and installed. Overall we were very satisfied.

I contacted three firms from Angie's list for estimates for the fencing work. All three provided written estimates for the work to be performed and all three were able to document liability insurance coverage. Ranchers Landscaping returned my initial call within 24 hrs and we scheduled an appointment promptly (within a couple of days ) to get an estimate for the job. Mr Alvarez was on time for the estimate appointment, courteous and professional in his analysis of the scope of work. Not only was his estimate the lowest ( just slightly) of the three firms, his list of materials to be used was superior and he shared his established protocols for contacting utlilities. When he left my property, I had a written proposal from him (estimate of the work to be performed, cost, list of specific materials) in a form easily converted to a work order. This attention to detail carried through the project. Once I selected his firm and executed the work order, the job was scheduled within one week. Mr Alvarez told me exactly how long the work would take and provided me with the work schedule. Materials were delivered on time, crews arrived on time, worked dilligently in an extremely organized manner. The first crew took down the old fence/posts and set the new galvanized posts in a straight, evenly spaced line, then cleaned up and left the posts to set overnight. The second crew arrived on time the next morning, cut the posts to the correct height, capped them, installed rails, attached the pickets (beautifully level) with 5 screws per picket, and worked in a synchronized fashion with no wasted efforts, cleaning up as they went. The crew verified a few things with me before starting work to avoid errors. The additional work tasks were completed without any need for reminders. Mr Alvarez arrived as the crew was completing their work and performed a quality check of the job. He then walked me through the work performed by his team. Work was of high quality, performed on schedule and on budget. His team exceeded my expectations.

I contacted Luis Alvarez at Ranchers Landscaping to give me a bid on replacing some privacy fencing. We set a date for him to come measure the job and he showed up at the appointed time. A couple of weeks later I contacted Luis and told him I was ready for him to do the job. He gave me a start date which was about two weeks later. His crew showed up on the scheduled date, removed the old fence, set the post for the new fence and completed the job the next day. Everything went smoothly and the new fence looks great. Luis is very professional, a real gentleman and explained everything they were going to do. They used top quality material and were very careful to make sure the rails and pickets were level. Great job!

Company is extremely organized. Responds well to requests. Issues yearly schedule and follows it. Crews respond to on-site requests.

Services are simply unacceptable...botched, burned, and scalped lawns...and irrigation service was slow and ineffective. Irrigation services, in particular, were basically non-responsive and non-effective. All workers ONLY speak Spanish...there has NEVER been a regular worker that could communicate effectively in English...therefore, this service flaw caused numerous communication problems.

Our bushes were swallowing our house and our precious trees had taken over the front yard. We found Luis Alvarez, from Ranchers Landscaping, on Angie?s list. He was the first to respond to our request for an estimate to remove bushes and trim our trees. He came over to the house (on time) and listened to what we had in mind. He made a few suggestions and encouraged us to go look at some plants at a local nursery to help make a decision about replacing the bushes. After a few emails we came up with a final bid and he exceeded our expectations in getting the work done. He and his crew were professional, hard working and completed the project as promised the same day. The plants he provided at our request were a good size and quality and finished with a dark mulch. You can now see our house through the canopy of trees and a water wise garden now graces the front of our home. We would highly recommend Ranchers Landscaping to anyone who needs work done. This company takes pride in their work and deliver high quality services.

There was initially a perceived communications problem, but that was addressed promptly and positively...and the work continued until completion. Ranchers Landscaping is now working under an ongoing contract basis...and future problems should not be an issue.

The owner (Luis) was prompt and polite in his communcications, provided understandable estimates, the crews were timely an dprofessional. Great job of clean up. Owner came by personall to make sure were were satisfied with the the work. Great company, will definitely use again for other fence work.

They were wonderful. They started on time and finished installing the fence all in the same day. They even removed my bushes which I requested that they do so. The owner of the company returned the next night for a walk thru to see my neighbor and I were happy with their work. The fence looks great!.

They are fantastic. I pay $69 monthly and that differs because we are on a corner lot. He is reasonably priced from what I have been quoted by other companies. I do not interact with the people who cut the lawn but the owner is polite and respectful and pretty timely in returning phone calls.
