Description of Work: Ran utilities program to defagment hard drive. Reset e-mail server address problems to prevent outgoing e-mails from remaining in outbox for very LONG periods of time. Required lengthy consultation with internet service provider. Next day, further required owner of firm to use remote access to my computer to complete the diagnosis and implement solutions. No addiitonal charges were made for this extra effort. A T and T had made changes in my server access address without properly notifing me. The owner even e-mailed me a couple of days later to be sure everything was continuing to work properly. I STRONGLY recommend this service provider.

I didn?t like the idea that they did not have an office or reatail site. They were nice and very friendly. My contact person I would give and ?A? to. The tech that came out I would give a ?C?.

+ -1 moreI was so delighted that I used them again later when my father's computer was acting up. We are both very pleased by their ability to solve the problem remotely.
Description of Work: I am a management consultant and I was recently unable to access important files on my laptop or even run a routine backup. I had just heard about Fast-teks so I called them and they were able to remotely connect to my pc to diagnose the problem. They determined that my hard drive was likely failing and sent someone out quickly. They were able to backup my important data and all my applications prior to replacing the hard drive. I didn’t lose any data and I didn’t have to try to find all the disks for my applications. They replaced my hard drive and restored its contents from the backup and I was back in business in no time at all.

+ -1 moreWe dropped our laptop on Friday night and cracked the screen. This is our only computer for the family and all of our sons homework and all our pictures and stuff are on there. we all use it for homework, pictures, email, etc. We called Best Buy and the guy there told us we would more than likely need to get a new computer and they might be able to get some of our applications and pictures off the old computer but wasn't sure. That was still going to be $500.00 - $800.00.. I found Fast teks by searching the internet for PC repair and gave them a call. Saturday morning. They called owner called me back and quoted me a price of $270 for the new screen and labor to install it, the new screen plus labor cost me only around $270! Once they had the screen in stock (2 days) they called me to schedule a time to come out and replace it. We scheduled a time and the technician called me before coming out and was very courteous and professional. To my surprise He installed the new screen in my laptop AND cleaned my hardrive from a virus i didn't event know i had! :) and we were back up and running with all of our data saved. All this for under $300.00!!! If you are looking for a good, fast, and professional PC repair company I recommend Fast Teks!

+ -1 moreOn Saturday morning our laptop "caught a virus" and we couldn't get our computer to work. Not knowing what to do we called Fast teks to fix our problem. Their service tech was here within hours and fixed our computer. The tech was very professional and knowledgeable. If anyone is looking for onsite computer repair call Fast teks you won't be disappointed. Thank you fast teks!!!!!
