Lonestar Painting

I was very pleased with the service and professionalism. Octavio met with me on a Saturday to discuss the exterior bid. He emailed me the bid within the promised time frame. After accepting the bid, we set a time to begin the work. Most of our home is stone, and we needed the stonework power washed. Since he would be power washing the wood, I asked for an estimate to power wash the stone. Octavio stated that they power wash the entire home, even the stone. There would be no extra charge. Octavio's crew arrived a few minutes early and I was introduced to the supervisor. Since I would be at work, I gave a key to a neighbor. They let the neighbor know when they were done. They cleaned up without leaving a mess. The same crew came to paint the interior a week later. They painted most of the ceilings, and perfectly matched the paint to the areas they didn't paint. They covered all of the woodwork, appliances, windows, mirrors, and moved the furniture. When they left for the day, they made sure we had adequate access in the kitchen and bathrooms. The crew cleaned up each day leaving no mess. They arrived promptly, or early and finished the project earlier than they promised. Payment was done after Octavio verified our satisfaction. I highly recommend Lonestar painting for their work, consideration of our needs, and professionalism.

Rick is very professional, always does great work, and charges reasonable rates. Furthermore, he is very knowledgeable about several types of work, so he is a great person to help with household problems.

,We had used Rick years before and were very pleased with the work he did repainting the inside of our house, so now years later and we are wanting to sell our house soon we contacted him again in order to paint the interior of our garage, some areas inside the house, and also make repairs to sheetrock and to wood trim areas where needed. His work is just as good as before and we couldn't be more pleased. He also is good at making suggestions regarding paint color and other remodeling ideas; this is not your average house painter. He can also do minor repairs that go along with the painting, and he does a beautiful job with wallpapering.

Mr McNamara was prompt and courteous on arrival. He thoroughly covered areas near where he would be working, so there would be no over spray when he applied texture to the drywall in my kitchen. The work was neatly done and Mr McNamara cleaned up after himself thoroughly. He explained to me how best to finish preparing the walls for painting (smoothing off rough spots after the spackle dried, and priming before painting, as the material is very absorbent and would soak up a lot of paint). He matched the new texture very closely to that of the rest of my walls, so that it is hard to tell that this was not original work from when the house was built.
