I was ready to throw my lawnmower away. I'd done everything I could think of, but I'm not a small engine expert. I had been fighting with this thing for months and I decided to try getting it repaired by a pro, but I was worried that the repair cost would outweigh it's value (never gotten a lawnmower repaired before). Given the current social distancing recommendations, I was glad to see that mobile service was an option. I requested service via email and the automatic reply was informative and thorough, telling me what to expect and when to expect it. Ken showed up when promised, got my lawnmower running and to top it all off, the cost was affordable. I feel like I got a bargain for friendly home service that will save me a lot of time and money this year. Thank you Ken!!!

It was fantastic doing business with someone who is extremely professional, knew his way around mowers, found the problem and in no time got the mower working again. Another added benefit is that he comes to you so you don't have to find a trailer and take the riding mower into a shop. The work was completed right in the driveway. A+ Service!!

Ultimately, the problems were small and Ken identified and fixed them quickly. He then gave the mower a once over to be sure everything else was working well.

Very well. He came when he said he would. He came to my house so I didn't have to take to a shop, which is a great value-added service. I didn't even need to be there. He did the work and emailed me a detailed invoice that said exactly what he'd done. I would definitely recommend him.

The racing engine was originally misdiagnosed by A&E service as a problem with the engine's governor. They advised that they didn't do engine work in the field, and that all they could offer was to replace the engine. I'm glad I searched Angie's List and found Ken. While I had to wait a couple of weeks for service due to Ken's busy schedule, he arrived on the day planned. Ken uses his website for you to tell him about your problem, and then he emails you your service date. The process worked fine for me. On my service day, It was convenient for me to not have to be there while he worked on the mower. After he finished the job, he emailed me the bill detailing the work and his costs. He advised that I could pay via Paypal or mail him a check. I was pleasantly surprised by the low cost, and his $40 trip charge is well worth the convenience. Ken is obviously a very experienced, skilled technician. I will be using him for all my lawn mower and small engine repair needs.

This was the second time that he has worked on my high end Honda mower. Over all, he is very convenient and extremely nice. Granted, my mower is an older model but I'm a little frustrated that both times he fixed my mower, I had problems within 1 use afterwards. He is also on the expensive side, but you are paying for expertise and convenience. After paying more than $350 to get the mower fixed, I've decided to just get a new one.

Service is excellent & I believe the price is more then fair.

I was very pleased with Ken. He responded promptly to my email requesting service, and we made an appointment at a convenient time. He arrived promptly for the appointment. My string trimmer is several years old and had never been serviced. It had been running fine until recently, then it would start, but not stay running. Ken did the work at my house. He replaced the fuel filter and spark plug, and cleaned the carburetor. After the service the trimmer started and ran fine. I used it for about an hour without any problems, but then a problem running at high rpms. I called Ken and he came back. This time he cleaned the exhaust spark arrester which fixed the second problem. Even though this second problem was not related to my original problem, Ken charged me nothing for this second service. It was not a problem I had mentioned to Ken, nor did he experience it while performing the first service.I would have been willing to pay for the second service, since I don't think the problem was in any way related to the work Ken had already performed. I was very happy with Ken. He was prompt and friendly. He provided excellent service, and it was very convenient to have the work done at home, rather than having to take the trimmer somewhere. I will definitely use Ken again.

Ken told me the value of my mower. I was able to get a great price on it at a garage sale. I wouldn't hesitate to use Ken's Mobile Service again and the nice thing is, he comes to you! No hauling your lawn mower to him!

great service, since I live alone, it's difficult for me to get my mower into my jeep by myself and have to take it to a repair shop. He quickly pinpointed the issue and took care of it, and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely call upon him in the future!

My mower wouldn't run. Ken's comes to your house to repair your mower, which was a very attractive feature to me. He responded to all my calls promptly, and arrived when he said he would. After looking at my mower, he concluded that the cost of the replacement parts exceeded the value of the mower, and recommended I not repair it. I found him to be very ethical, courteous and helpful. I will definitely call him again!

KEN ARRIVED EXACTLY WHEN HE OFFERED. HE PROMPTLY LOVATED AND REMOVED THE BROKEN PART. HIS PARTS SUPPLIER WAS OUT OF THE PART SO I OFFERED TO GET THE PART FROM SEARS. I CALLED HIM WITH THE PROJECTED ARRIVAL DATE OF THE PART AND HE SCHEDULED ME FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE JOB. HE, AGAIN, ARRIVED PROMPTLY, INSTALLED THAT PART AND A NEW, DRIVE BELT, AND A NEW BRAKE SPRING THAT I HAD. I WOULD RECOMMENT HIM TO ANYONE WANTING MOWER REPAIR AT THEIR HOME, RATHER THAN PAYING EXTRA FOR PICK UP AND DELIVERY.

Went very well. He was on time, very fast, and I'm completely satisfied.

I found Ken's service when my lawn tractor would no longer start. I used to own a pickup truck so I used to load it in the back and take it into a prepair shop (quite an ordeal). Due to gas prices, I now own a car so I can no longer take it into a shop. Ken, however, came to my house and I didn't even have to be there. I rolled the lawn tractor into the backyard under a tree and left it there for Ken to work on. Ken found that the replacement battery I had purcahsed was bad and this is why it wouldn't start. Ken provided a new battery to fix this problem. I had a problem with the tractor going very slowly in reverse. Ken removed grass that kept the shifter from working properly. Ken also sharpened the blade like had had asked. However, what really impressed me about his work is that this tractor had always had a problem starting when cold. Now this problem is gone. I did not request this service nor was I charged for this. This tractor is still running great. I will definately use this service again in the future.

Great job. Our mower works better than when it was new. Ken performed the repair work efficiently and clearly explained what he had done. He came to the house to do the work. I would strongly recommend him to others.
