I called Steve on Friday when our unit went out Steve took time on Saturday to come take a look at our unit even though he had personal plans with his family He was very professional, affordable and on time. He gave me a quote and had our new unit installed Monday morning. Steve and his crew arrived on time and were very professional and finished up quickly. He also sent his crew back to check our furnace to get it ready for winter. He also had his guys unclog our drain so we did not have to hire a plumber saving us time, money and headache. Definitely recommend South TEX AC and heating!!!

Can't say enough good things about Southtex A/C. We have used their services several times within various family households in recent months. They are always prompt, courteous, and fair priced.

My air conditioning went out on a Saturday morning. I called 6 different companies and they all tried to schedule me for Tuesday or later. So I searched Google for some one in Pearland to help me with the ac. I found Southtex and read a bunch of excellent reviews. I called Steve and he was able to fix my air conditioning issue right away. There's a good reason he has so many 5 star ratings.

Keep in mind this was during the Hurricane Harvey devastation and he was super busy. I called him when the rains stopped and he came the very next day. He checked a few things outside and in the attic and in less than an hour I had cool air coming through the house! The weather was starting to heat up so we were so grateful to have things fixed so quickly!

The replacement job went very well. The crews showed up on time. They did exactly as I was told they would do. The work was professionally completed with no issues. I've used this company on another house and was very pleased with their work there as well. Very honest company.

I think their price is very fair. They were very responsive. There were two workers that came out. They were very friendly. They were very fast much faster than I thought it would be to replace the whole air conditioner. They left the work area perfectly. They were efficient and did a thorough job.

Paid $145 for tune up/inspection of 2 AC units. Got a inspection, NOTHING was tuned/cleaned. Spent 10 minutes looking at 2 units, and hooking up a pressure hose for 20 seconds. Feel free to refund the "tune-up" portion of my payment in the mail.

Steve had contacted us right away and was able to set up a day to meet us at our new resident. He went through everything with us and gave us an exact quote. The day of the service his team arrived 15 minutes early from the promised time. The over all time was about two hours, and as they worked they provided good information and answered my questions.

This was our second time calling Southtex AC & Heat. Our first experience was replacing a coil in our unit. During that experience the owner came out and gave us a quote, was very easy to communicate with and had our issue fixed within a few days. Our second experience was the same. We had a repairman come out in a timely manner, diagnose that we had a clogged drain in our upstairs attic and fixed the issue immediately. We were not overcharged, they didn't try to do other repairs that weren't necessary and were very easy to communicate with. We recommended SouthTex to our neighbors, who have also used them recently, and we will be using SouthTex again in the future!

In researching this purchase, I obtained 4 bids. Of all the companies that I contacted , Steve Cuello at Southtex A/C and Heat spent the most time explaining the pro's and cons of the various AC systems. He is professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly and personable. Pricewise, Steve beat all other bids that I received for similar packages. The installation was completed in the time frame he promised and his staff was professional and efficient. Very pleased with my purchase.

A pleasure to work with. They replaced the evaporator coil in our HVAC unit. Technician was timely and courteous.

Best worker I've ever hired.

At first Steve Collelo was very responsive - very prompt with estimates and scheduling installation. In fact teh installation went a little too fast - with most of my question either dismissed or not thoroughly answered and the trouble began almost immediately. I began asking questions about rebates for units tthat would be covered for energy efficiency. He dismissed these questions. I asked repeatedly why the downstairs system was a smaller capacity system in tonnage than the upstairs system - even though the upstairs system has to cool the second floor as well as a built out attic on the third floor. He insisted that I didnt' need a bigger system or any other changes to ductwork or air handlers. He installed two Lennox systems for about $15,000.oo. The system hadn't been in place 24 hours before the second floor system turned off and would not turn on again. He came back and installed a new thermostat. In two days it stopped working and he came back and installed another one. Then the same thing happened on the first floor system. it has had two thermostats. The second floor is never cool below 82 degrees during the day and the third floor is unusable. In addition, I have had to replacing the thermostats on the first and second floors, i have also had to replace the circuit board for the second floor system, the theromstat for the second floor (again) and now the motor for the first floor system is out. i find out today how much that will cost. The system he installed has lot of problems - which better informed technicians are well aware of. it is not recommended by any other professionals i have spoken to. After speaking with other service providers, i have learned that there were far better options for my home than what he chose, that there were problems with the installation that impacted the performance of the controls and that there were systems that not only could have saved more money on electricity, but would have earned rebates that could have saved me as much as $2,000. I spent a lot of money and cannot depend on my aircondidtioning system to work.

Overall: excellent! I called around 10a, and he was at our house and had it fixed by noon.
