+ -1 moreMaster Air is simply sublime! It’s not the description I think one often associates with unexpected, expensive, disruptive issues like AC replacement and yet, they’ve certainly earned it. Joey led the charge related to our issue and I’ve got nothing but praise for him - he is knowledgeable, straightforward, thorough, responsive, pleasant, sincere, organized, professional, and much more. We KNEW we were in the best possible hands throughout the process! And they didn’t just finish and drop us either - we received personalized, timely and frankly exceptional follow-up too - NICE, Joey! Master Air truly practices what they preach and I unreservedly give them my highest recommendation.

+ -1 moreOur A/C went out for 3 days. Master Air ordered a part but the warehouse sent the wrong one. The correct part had to be ordered and would take several days. So Master Air lent us an AC unit until the part came in. Several weeks later we were informed that our unit was discontinued. Parts and Freon were hard to locate and the price increased. Our warranty for the old unit was ending in the spring. They advised us to buy a new more energy efficient and less air pollution A/C now required by a government agency.

+ -1 moreKevin came out the same day I called and evaluated my A/C unit. Ended up needing a new A/C unit which was installed the next day and we were back to cool by that afternoon. I have had Master Air out in the past for other repairs to my old A/C unit and heater. They might be busy during the summer but they always make time to get out and make sure their customers are well taken care of.

+ -1 moreTHEY THEN TOLD ME THEY WOULD REPLACE IT FOR A LOT MORE MONEY. So since I did not have the money, I was stuck. I vowed I would warn anyone wanting to use them I was tell everyone to run away as fast as they could. When the compressor failed within the warranty period, they wanted $800 to replace it. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
Description of Work: I asked for and was told I was getting a 14 SER out door unit only. When I looked at the paperwork information, I discover it was a 12 SER. They lied.

+ -1 moreI had been without AC for 4 days and was very frustrated with how things were going with my home warranty company and the contractor they sent out. I contacted Master Air and it immediately felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From start to finish, every member of their team was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, professional and honest. My options were clearly explained and we discussed the pros and cons of continuing to make costly repairs to my old unit vs replacing it. After weighing my options and deciding to go with a new unit, they had it installed and I was enjoying a cool house in less than 24 hours. I am very pleased with the experience I had with Master Air and would highly recommend them for your AC needs.

Description of Work: Diagnosed outdoor unit, stated fan motor and capacitor were bad, even under warranty (Carrier-parts only) still said the less than hour fix would cost 450. Had local competitor over, fan motor was fine, capacitor was bad, cost $170, was also quoted $280 if fan and capacitor were out

Description of Work: A had a water leak coming from my attic and I contacted Master Air thinking it was my A/C unit. Master Air came out to do the assessment of the water leak and they stated that I needed to replace the unit in the attic ASAP. So after replacing the unit in the attic, the water leak was still present. Then Master Air tried to sell me a new compressor ($4500) for the outside and they also wanted to replace the motor and fan ($250) as well, telling me that this was the cause of my water leak. After further investigation, the water leak was not caused by or due in part from the A/C system, it was from a clogged main drain line. On top of the $2750 that was unnecessarily spent, they left all their trash in my attic and tracked mud/grease all throughout my home. The City Inspector came out to do a final inspection on the work that was performed and failed them, stating that the job was incomplete along with other specifics. I had to contact another A/C company to complete their work.

+ -1 moreThey have always been responsive and professional from maintenance to replacing my entire system. Even got service on a Sunday when a/c was out and was 104 F outside. I have employed Master Air for more than a decade.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and repaired air conditioning - condensate drain clogged shutting off outside unit. Also checked filter and topped up coolant levels. Is a local family-owned and operated business.
