Guardian Roof Systems

In February, 2020 we had a very bad experience with a roofing company that claimed it had the background and experience to provide a proper and complete TPO type roof to cover our Master Bedroom and Garage so that we would not have any more leaks. Within a few weeks following the completion of the installation, we had several heavy rains which resulted in more damage to our Master Bedroom ceiling and walls. We tried to work with the Contractor to isolate and cure the leaking for several weeks but they could not and would not correct the problems they made due to deficient installation practices. In fact it was later determined by Guardian expertise after they performed an in depth study of the roof and found all of the deficiencies the original Contractor made, that we were on the road to getting that Contractor to refund our entire cost for the job. It took Guardians' 30 page, well illustrated report itemizing the deficiencies and our submission of this information to the Houston BBB to finally get the Contractor to admit his wrong doing and refund our money. Upon being financially refunded we immediately engaged Michael Atkinson and the team from Guardian Roofing Systems to redo the deficiencies they discovered and after many hours of diligent work on these problems we are extremely happy and satisfied. No more leaks. The lesson learned from this experience was profound. Guardian Roofing Systems is a member of of HARCA (Houston Area Roofing Contractors Association), HARCA, is a regional Chapter of the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT). This organization of professional Contractors consists of only Licensed Company’s who are not only ethical in their business practices but go way above the norm in customer satisfaction. I would suggest to anyone looking for a new roof to limit your choices to those members of this organization because in the State of Texas you can claim to be a roofer if you have a truck, a ladder and perhaps a web site which can make claims that cannot be met. Guardian's expertise and their entire organization are my roofing company and I highly recommend them for your roofing requirements, be they for Residential or Commercial. They are the greatest! Horribly. Work was not completed in a timely manner. Some work not done to our satisfaction. Had to be redone multiple times. Poor communication and untruths. Finally ended in mediation. Delivered on promises in the end, but months later and lots of frustration.

I called Guardian Roof Systems to do an inspection of my roof. So many neighbors were having leaks inside their house due to bad roofs so I decided to have mine checked out. I called to schedule an appt. for inspection. Brandon called me and informed me what day and time he would be out. He was right on time. He spent a couple of hours inspecting my roof. Once he completed his inspection his opinion was to do a total roof replacement. He took a ton of pictures and explained everything. I called my STATEFARM guy since I do have wind/hail via Statefarm. The adjuster scheduled an appt. to come inspect the roof. Brandon from Guardian said he would be there when Statefarm was. Again, Brandon was right on time. Statefarm agreed with Guardian and approved roof to be replaced. I set a day to have roof repaired. Roof supplies were delivered on time. The date I was scheduled to have roof done was one of those 70% chance of rain days..so Brandon called me 3 days in advanced to say we needed to wait and rescheduled for Saturday, Sept 12. He said his team would be there at 7:30. There were here and unloading the trucks at 7:30. There were 12 guys working on my roof and by 3:00 that day..I had a new roof....EVERYTHING was cleaned up and they were gone! My roof looks AMAZING! It was inspected by windstorm and passed. Brandon worked with me to ensure that my ONLY out of pocket costs were my deductible. I was even able to "finance" part of my deductible at 0% same as cash for 12 months. During this process...anytime I had a question for Brandon I would text him and he would TEXT ME BACK IMMEDIATLY! Brandon made me feel so comfortable about the entire process! I was dreading having my roof replaced...the time/the mess/the what if's...but it was the EASIST best experience I have ever had with such a large investment. I would HIGHLY recommend Guardian Roof Systems for ANY roof repairs or replacements. What a GREAT experience!!!! Brandon is one of the most professional, responsive and nice guys I have ever done business with. I even bought PIZZA for the entire crew that day because they worked so FAST and did such a GREAT job. I have yet to find a nail in my yard......I am sure I will because they can and do show up but so far...not a single nail. WOW!!! BRAVO GUARDIAN ROOF SYSTEMS!!! BRAVO!

Guardian is a professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy company with excellent support. Ryan was patient with me as he answered all of my questions thoroughly during the entire process. I would not choose another roofer.

Since this was the first claim I have ever filed on my house Ryan took the time to walk me completely through the whole process. He gave me all the information I would need for my HOA application and once I received the okay Ryan immediately put me on their schedule. They were scheduled the following Monday and Tuesday. Everything went just as Ryan had told me it would. They covered my pool and plants and moved breakable items away from the house. I even had furniture delivered on Monday and the team made sure there was a clear path to the front door. All debris was removed and clean-up was as if they hadn't been there. I work odd hours and Ryan was great to work around my schedule. Thank you so much my new roof. I am so glad you came in my neighborhood that day. I love working with HONEST people.

The company had to wait a month for our insurance and mortgage bank to get the money dispersed. The roofers themselves were very nice. It took half a day longer than exptected to finish the roof. The problem I have is that a leak was found in my house that caused some damage to two windows and a wooden floor. Guardian turned in a supplemental claim. When the funds came in, the repairs for the window and floor were not made and Gaurdian kept the money. They refused to send us the money for us to repair the damages ourselved.

Ryan Nowak inspected roof, found hail damage advised us to call insurance companies met with insurance adjuster and replaced roof with insurance coverage promptly, handled all details with insurance. Very simple process. Very satisfied.

They said they'd work with my insurance company and didn't. I kept calling and they would not return my call. They were hired to reroof the house across the street and put the wrong color on it. Undependable and unworthy.

The came out and did an excellent job of repairing my roof. I will definitely use them for future roofing needs

In terms of the work, I would say they did a good job. We have a 1500 square foot house and they ripped off the old roof and replaced it in one day. The roof looks good and we are very pleased. They cleaned up moderately well, but replacing a roof, by nature, seems to make a mess. The crew was definitely working hard in the hot summer heat! In terms of price, they charged us what the insurance company recommended, not a penny more. Just be sure to do your math, they misquoted us by about $300 on our final check, but we caught it and they remedied the situation. My biggest complaint is the punctuality of the reps and their lack of communication. We have had at least three different meetings to discuss the roof, give them payment, etc. Without giving us a heads up, they have been significantly late (well over an hour) for each one. It can be very frustrating when you leave work early to meet them and they don't call to let you know that they will be late. I am not sure if I will use them again- hopefully our roof will last us a while and we won't have to any time soon!

There were two components to the job, replace the roof on the house and replace the acrylic panels on my patio roof. The sales rep said they would do the complete job for what my insurance allowed (I have replacement value insurance). The only additional charge was for an upgrade to hail resistant shingles. The roof on the house was done on the date scheduled and done very well. Upon completion they did a very good job of cleaning up nails and roofing debris. I am quite happy with the new roof and the manner in which the work was done. However, the patio cover is another story. It was supposed to be done within a couple of days of the house roof. I waited until the middle of the following week and no one showed up. I called the sales rep and was told they were swamped with work but someone would be out to take care of the patio roof within the next week and a half. Still nothing, so I called the sales rep again. Same story with an appolgy for the delay. After about six weeks my patio roof was still not done and no status update since my previous call 3 weeks earlier. I was about to call the sales rep again when I received a call from the him wanting to pick up final payment for the job. I said I'd be glad to pay as soon as the work was completed. He then informed me that they would not do the patio roof for the amount they had contracted. I expressed my displeasure with them not keeping their contractual commitment since he knew full well what my insurance had allowed for the replacement when he wrote the contact. I also expressed my displeasure for not being told sooner! He took the patio roof allowance off the contract price and took final payment for the roof. He did offer to give me some names of other contractors I could contact about getting the job done. If I were to only consider the work they did on the house roof I would not hesitate to use this company again. However, because of the treatment I received concerning the patio roof and their failure to complete both tasks for the contracted price I would not consider them in the future.

Very well. No surprises. Prompt. 2500 square foot house completed in one day.

They came the day they said they would. They removed the old roof and installed the new one all in the same day.

Crew showed up at scheduled time. Removed all of the shingles, repaired where needed and replaced all shingles, including upgrading roof for hurricane force winds. All work completed on time as agreed no issues.
