 + -1 moreMust admit, flooring looks great and installers were professional, but owner was not. Owner was never at establishment (always had to call for him to meet you), always had to call back (when reaching by phone), does not keep appointment schedule, never provided a receipt once service was completed - kept supplying one excuse after another, and never finished quarter round caps upstairs. Whenever, I called for completion of quarter round caps and receipt he always stated installers were busy and he was completing receipt. After a while he stopped answering my calls. But I do know I was overcharged (nephew in so many words verified this.)
Description of Work: Wood laminate flooring and carpet installations.

 + 1 moreRoman worked with our schedule and performed work in phases as we were still occupying the house and having other work done as well. He made good recommendations for colors and style, and we are quite pleased with the finished work.
Description of Work: Granite countertops and backsplash in kitchen, granite countertops in 3 bathrooms, new tile on tub surround and floors in one bathroom, converted garden tub/ shower to large walk-in shower in master bathroom, plus recarpet of stairs and two bedrooms.

 + -1 moreHis staff was fast and did a great job and he was half the price of all his competitors. I highly recommend him. I plan on using him again when it is time to do my bathrooms and countertops in the kitchen.
Description of Work: Installed laminate flooring, new tile,and new carpet. I bought a new home and had all of the flooring replaced before I moved in. He ripped up carpet in living room and dining room and installed laminate flooring. I also had new carpet replaced on the stairs and all of the bedrooms.

 + 0 moreThe installers were terrific and everything was handled professionally. Ramon, the owner of Flooring City, was very responsive. He did not measure correctly at first, but did not charge me extra for the additional materials. They worked according to my schedule and finished the project timely.
Description of Work: Total cost for labor and materials was $5900 for high quality wood flooring in our master bedroom, master closets, stairwell and large landing area at the top of the stairs. This cost includes the stair nose, all wood, glue and labor. We chose a Mannington Chesapeake Olde Towne Hickory flooring.

Description of Work: We had tile put in two bathrooms and our kitchen. We also had engineered wood floors put in a large living area, dining room, office, play room and hallway. Roman is very willing to work with customers and to make us feel comfortable with the process. The people that installed the tile were excellent as were the wood flooring guys. We feel that we got a very good deal given the large amount of flooring put in. We will probably consider them again when we renovate our kitchen with new countertops.

Description of Work: We were in the market to get granite countertops and new backsplash. We shopped numerous providers and got a wider range of prices, never could get comfortable with of the contractors. We went to Flooring City, they had a wide range of colors and styles to select. They came out and did a quote for what they called an A to Z job, this included an 18 gauge stainless steel sink, granite, and backsplash, including the installation. There were no add ons such as demolition costs or sealing costs that other contractors were adding to their estimates. They were punctual and neat, completed the job in 3 days.
