They were very helpful in selecting the flooring. I needed to match wood floors that were already in the home. They provided good advice on color matching of woods and I am very pleased with the results. Their installation team arrived on time and was very professional. They explained the steps of the installation and completed the task in a very reasonable time. We have received many compliments on the room.

Job went great! They showed up exactly on time, helped us move some things and got to work. The floor didn't need to be leveled so that was a big relief and made the job go a lot quicker. Excellent and friendly crew, did a good job cleaning up afterwards.

We purchased this on a "cash/carry" basis and used our own installer. The job turned out fine, but I would probably use Five Star installer, if I had to do over. Their installer prices were slightly lower and it would be certainly less hassle to just let them do it turn-key. My daughter used their installers for both wood and tile and was quite happy with the work. The cash/carry process involved choosing the tile and grout, then calculating amount needed (my installer gave recommendation). I paid for it at 5 Star and had my installer pick it up at the distributor. 5 star gave me a reference number to use when the material was picked up. This all went smoothly. 5 star also reserved two extra boxes of tile (about 32 sq feet) for me, in case we underesimated. This provided insurance to get a matching dye lot for more tile. They did not charge extra for this reservation. At the end of job, we had two boxes of unopened tile to return. The return policy includes a 25% restocking charge. This was made clear at the start and I have no problem with it. I will say that 5 star has been less than responsive in giving me directions on where to return and how the process works. I have called twice and they promised to call me back. I am still waiting (1 week). There is no incentive on their part to handle a return and I am disappointed. Update: Five Star hired an assistant that is awesome. She cleaned up the disheveled customer followup process and definitely improved Five Star's business. I hope they are able to keep her long term.

They were punctual. They were timely in getting the job done. They called before they came for each appointment. The quality of the work was just lovely. The price was probably overall the lowest price that I found. They made one small mistake, and they corrected it by giving me $200 worth of free materials. That pushed them to being the lowest cost provider, but I didn't pick them because they were the lowest cost provider. They were quick to come out and quick to get the job done.

Five Star Floors installed wood-look ceramic tile in my whole downstairs area (appx 1,638.50 sf). They ripped out the existing carpet and tile. They were unmatched on their price...I went to 4 different places and they were the best price. They were on time and completed the job withing 3 days. Very efficient. I asked for references prior to hiring this company and all of the references that I spoke with were very happy with their finished products and the company itself. I would like to follow up with them to replace my upstairs carpet.

The work performed was average. Some of the wood pieces installed are damaged- cracked or with gouges. When it was installed, I did look at the wood closely- or so I thought. But the fact is that the nicks and gouges were noted after the fact when I had to move furniture around to have some painting done. Then I was on my hands and knees and noted the imperfections. But overall, it looks good.
