He found the A/C ductwork was condensing on the ceiling and causing the problem. Came back a second time at no charge to check the attic.

He did a great job and went above and beyond what he needed to do.

Michael Patterson is the owner. The service was really good. I had no problem. I have used him one time. He came out for three different trips as I was getting the flooring done. He was really honest and super helpful. He uninstalled a pedestal sink and a toilet. He measured everything for me, so I would know exactly what kind of sink I could buy to replace that sink with. He was extremely helpful and saved me time. He was there when he said he was going to be there. He called and let me know if he was not coming. Either he was here when he said he would be or he would call me. He was honest about his time. He was helpful as far as helping me shop as it would save the money and time. I don't know if his price was standard. I wanted to have someone here who doesn't come out again for a repair work. I did not compare the shop for the price. He was really prompt.

Michael showed up at my house earlier than appointment time. We had talked previously on the phone, so he had an idea of what was going on. I had had another plumber clear the sewer line about 2 weeks earlier. So I told him what was done then, so he asked if he could remove the toilet. I said yes. He removed the toilet ran a snake through the line and it was cleared again. Michael is not afraid to get his hands dirty, he doesn't have fancy machines (which the customer pays for) he has common sense and uses his brain. He gave me tips on how to help keep my drains flowing smoothly. I will be calling Michael again for any future plumbing problems.

Michael called and scheduled an early morning appointment for the dishwasher installation. I purchased the dishwasher along with the installation from Lowe's and he was the subcontractor they used. On the day of installation, he gave me a courtesy call to let me know he had picked up the new dishwasher and was on his way. He unpacked the new dishwasher at the house and noticed it was dented. Lowe's did not have a replacement, and he worked with Lowe's to get an acceptable unit substituted for the damaged one. He really went to bat for me on this and I truly appreciated it. During the installation, he noticed the water supply valve to the dishwasher had been leaking and replaced that. He also noticed the plumbing under the sink had been dripping and he tightened all of that up. He was honest and upfront about what he was doing. I did owe him extra for the installation but his additional fees (which were for parts and labor) were reasonable.

Michael arrived at exactly the agreed upon time. He immediately started his work and absolutely knew what he was doing. He had all materials with him and completed the entire job very efficiently and quickly. The quality of the work was impeccable and the price for his labor was excellent and exactly what had been quoted. He is the only plumber I know who charges at a rate that can't be criticized. If he doesn't have the tool or part he needs, he doesn't pass the lack of preparedness on to the customer. (Provided you accurately described the work required before he shows up on the job.) He's a real professional who takes pride in his work and the most honest plumber I ever met.

Michael told me up front that the tub had been improperly installed (about two years prior) and he showed me exactly what had been done wrong. He then told me that the only way to completely fix the problem was to pull the bathtub out and replace the drain plumbing... a very costly proposition. He then said he could attempt another simpler workaround but couldn't guarantee the outcome. I opted to let him try the workaround $100 versus about $2000 for a complete replacement. So far the fix he applied is working perfectly. He said it should last a few years and if the leak started again he could reapply the fix. As I stated in a previous report, this guy is completely honest. He traveled to my home, spent a half hour figuring the problem out and coming up with a solution. Find another plumber that will do that for $100. He charges a flat hourly rate and that's it. No attempt to gouge the customer. Outstanding.

I used them twice and they were good. They were on time. They were professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use their services again.

I purchased a dishwasher and water heater from Lowe's. Excalibur Plumbing was the plumbing contractor that Lowe's contacted. I paid for installation through Lowe's so I don't know about the prices that might be charged if you contacted the company directly. I bought the items on Saturday and I received a call on Monday to set up my install which was on Wednesday between 8:00am and 9:00am. Promptly at 8:00am, Mr. Patterson and his helper arrived and went to work. He was very organized in his approach and made very good use of his time. The water heater is in my attic so he started it draining while installing the dishwasher. He was very careful to keep my carpet clean and dry. After installation was completed he went over basic usage of the dishwasher and a new feature of the water heater (don't need to use a flame). I will use this company again for any future plumbing needs, and will refer my friends to him as well. Great Job Excalibur Plumbing!!!!
