Description of Work: I needed a complete upgrade on my furnace, coil, and outside AC condenser. Justin Wenner came over and gave me several options for brands and costs. I chose Trane products, which are made by American Standard, still made in America. You pay more for this quality, but it's worth it. Carrier and Lennox are no longer the quality systems they once were. Anyway, Justin sent over two of his top installers--Andrew and James to do the installation. They were on time, well mannered, and extremely professional. I can't say enough about this company and their attention to detail. They are not cheap--no one who is excellent at what they do is going to give you a low price. But it's well worth the investment to get an HVAC system that is reliable and energy efficient. They stand by their work and their warranties.

The man who provided the estimate made me feel a little uncomfortable, so I decided not to hire Clear the Air.
Description of Work: Clear the Air gave us an estimate, but never performed work.

We do recognize sometimes a persons personality can conflict with ones own, even though we train our employees to be professional and caring at all times. The beginning estimation appointment is just 10% of the entire installation process. If we would have been the company you choose to install your system, I am positive we would have earned your satisfaction in the end. Description of Work: They helped us with a minor adjustment which was done to help with the Freon's efficiency. I really think the results of this type work can be subjective. However, I feel their work has been effective, and I think the unit is running a little better.

Overall my experience was good, but I decided to go with another company. That being said, Clear the Air was very professional and responsive.

It went very well and was done very professionally. Tim Trout was the sales consultant and also returned after installation to make sure everything was installed and working properly. The installer (Tim) and his helper were very hard working and did everythng in one day.
Description of Work: Ckear the Air installed a new Trane 16 Seer Air Conditioner and Furnace. They also put in new duct work in my attic since the ducts were almost 40 years old.

Talked with owner and we agreed on the complaint and the facts on the service call. We have settled and over all they did good work.
Description of Work: Called then to come out on their 24 hour repair of our A/C. They cam out at 10PM and told us that he would be back on Fridady to fix it. For that call out he charge us $109.00 and another $660 to fix it on Friday plus he said that it was working and needed another $150.00 to fix another part. We spent the night in our HOT house and they did not fix it that night. It only toke them 2 hours the next day to get it running so the 24 hours repair does not work.

Member Thank you for your feedback. I want to assure you that we have taken your concerns seriously and want to find a resolution. I have researched our records of this service call. On June 30th, a acquaintance of yours called us to take care of the a/c unit at 10:30pm as you were not available. One our technicians came out for $109 after hours at 10:30 to diagnose your air conditioning issues. We found your evaporator coil 100% blocked with dirt not allowing airflow causing a solid block of ice to build up. Unfortunately, we had to completely remove the coil to clean it due to accessibility issues of manufactured homes. Due to the time of night and access issues and the coil was a solid block of ice, we had to come back out the following day (July 1st). At this time we removed and thoroughly cleaned the evaporator coil and reinstalled it and balanced refrigerant charge. The amount on the the invoice for that repair was $490. Your total invoice was $599 which includes the diagnostic fee from June 30th. We received written authorization from acquaintance giving us permission to move forward with the repairs. Clear the Air has a policy of quoting the repairs and getting authorization before any work is to be done. Acquaintance also signed the invoice stating that she was completely satisfied with our services after the work was complete. As much as we try, sometimes it is not possible to repair everything on the first call. Our service manager will contact you Monday to discuss your concerns further. We are here to serve you.

The company has always been very responsive and professional. I would continue to use this company, and would recommend them to anyone in the market to purchase or service an HVAC system.
Description of Work: I purchase a HVAC system from Clear the Air (Stom's AC & Heating at the time) in Feb. 2006. I asked them to replace my Heater, AC and all duct work work. Recently had them perform a Spring checkup on my AC.
