They did a great job. They were not the cheapest bid but the did a fantastic job.

He was really quick about it. There were no surprises. He was in and out in ten minutes.

Very hot day outside - contractor brought his own umbrella. Came in gave estimate, described action he would take, worked efficiently to accomplish job and cleaned up site and material.

I called in the morning, and the repair person arrived that afternoon. The drain was cleared in 20 min, and the price I paid was exactly what is offered on their website. I have no complaints and would at the very least get an estimate from the company if I ever need work again.

I needed this job done quickly. I am selling my house and this was on the inspection list. The company received an "A" on Angie's List, but I do not see how. These were very simple repairs that should not take very long and should not cost very much money -- but they did. I am very disappointed.

It went very well. The 2 men worked well together. They were on time, and contacted me before just like I had asked. They stayed on the job till it was done, and cleaned up afterward. Even my rottweiler was quite the pal to them. She does not warm up easily! I will continue to use them for my plumbing needs.

I had water bubbling up near where the water pipe connects from the main to the house. I called AQB; they answered immediately and were professional and helpful on the phone. The earliest they were able to come out was four days later. The technician was punctual and got right to work (after a sarcastic comment or two about the state of my garage and my allowing a tree to grow near the house). The work was done pretty quickly. The cost seemed high for the amount of time spent at my house (about 1 1/2 hours), and the bill did not specify the time or rate. Still, I was okay with it because I was worried it could be a lot more. The tech was nice enough except for the sarcasm mentioned above. He did leave a hole in the ground and a bit of a mess. There's only so much you can do when dealing with mud, but it didn't even look like he tried to clean up or fill in the whole. Over all, I was fine with the job and would consider calling them again.

I called AQP because of their rating on Angie's List. There had been a negative comment about price, so I specifically asked what it would cost. The estimate was $153.50. The dispatcher said someone would be at my home by noon. The repairman calls just before 1PM and says he is on his way. No one had called to say there would be a delay. The repair man is friendly and gladly explains what might be causing the problem and what he will do. He finds and solves the problem. He was a nice guy who did his job the way it should have been done. Then I get the bill for $298.74. Here is what I was not told: 1. The bill is based upon an hourly rate. An extra half-hour generates another hour's cost. At $129 per hour, that is some rough "rounding off". 2. There was a $20 charge for the machine used. Is this a joke? Certainly some kind of machine was going to be used. 3. A fuel surcharge of $4.50 was printed on the bill. Again, I was not told about it. With gas prices jumping and plummeting, how can they PRINT a surcharge onto the bill? 4. A $5 - $7 gasket was used. Their price: $15.00. A better explanation of charges, up-front, would have kept me from feeling like I had been fooled.

I was fairly pleased with them both times. The price was fair. They answered my calls and got back to me pretty quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and presented themselves in a professional manner. They'd be the first ones I would call if I needed more work.

They charge by the hour, and it did not seem that they take that into account during the work. He spent some of the billed time making personal calls and talking to a neighbor. He did quality work but I felt that it was a bit expensive.

While the company is less than two miles from my house I waited until the end of my window, they would be at my house between 8-11 a.m., for them to arrive. I called the company at 10:45 to verify they would in fact be arriving. While I was pleased with the work they did, they did not offer the breath of services I needed and were hesitant to actually do the work to fix the source of the water leak attributed to a bath tub not being properly caulked. Being new to the area I am learning I need to ask up front what the minimum charges are for services provided.

Post-Hurricane Ike, while repairing my house, a water heater leak was discovered. I called A-Affordable Plumbing and a plumber came out the next day and repaired the leak for $60. Very nice guy. Considering the difficulty in getting repairs accomplished in my area after the hurricane, I was not only surprised by how quickly they could get to my house, but also by the price.

I am still waiting (>2 weeks after initial work) for them to return and finish the job. They were late to perform the estimate. They did not return later that morning to perform the work as they had said they would because of a threat of rain (it did not rain at my house). They returned the next day (again late) to perform the work (it did rain that day, but they were able to get the work done anyway...). When I returned home from work that day, they were still working and then informed me that I would have to call an electrician to hook up the heater. There was no mention of this in the estimate and they were planning on leaving before I had hot water! I called their office, and they did send someone out to make the electrical connection, though they did not bring clips to secure the electrical conduit to the wall. I am still waiting for them to come and finish the job. When they told me they had finished, I went to look at the newly installed system and it was visibly dripping water from one of the connections.

The plumber was very nice and even apologized for the price being so high. They charge by the hour and so since this was such a simple job for him he even checked all the other sinks in my house and pointed out some potential clogs. I thought he was wonderful.

We had a water line to our house that was leaking water into our front yard. It took Pearland City to 5 days to come out and look at it and tell us that it was our private line, not the city line and that we needed to hire a plumber. I looked these guys up on Angie's List and gave them a call. A plumber came out on the same day! I was impressed with that. Because of the saturation it was hard to see exactly where the break in the line was. So the next morning a crew from AQP came out to dig a trench from my house to wherever the break was in the line. We have a sprinkler system and extensive landscaping, so I was a little worried about this part. But the workmen showed up on time the next morning, replaced the line and were gone by 11 am. The yard looked like it had been dug up afterwords, but they put it back as best as they could and now the grass is growing over it again. The sprinkler system works fine with no breaks in it as a result of all of the digging. The estimate of the cost was exactly what I paid. I can't say enough about how professionally and quickly they fixed our leak.

As noted, this was not an emergency in any way. The men worked hard in the hot weather because the gas line has to be 18" below ground. After inspection was passed, Jason filled the hole and time will take care of the grass growing over.

Everything went well. He was very efficient. I had two outside faucets I thought needed replacing. He told me how to tighten them so they would no longer leak. He also was to replace a tub/shower fixture. He explained how he would have to tear apart a wall to get to the fixture. We then decided not to replace that item.

His service was great. On time and very efficiently done. He was very nice.

From my initial call to ask for service to the repairman Richard Otts completing the work, everything was prompt, professional and as expected. Same day service was fantastic!

Arrived on time, communicated results well, and fixed the problem quickly. Required cutting into drywall ceiling. And cleaned up after completing the work.

We had two plumbers coming out the same day for estimates. When Nolan knew this, he specifically wanted to be first. :) He is a master plumber with many years of experience. He did a thorough job (albeit on the slow side).

The serviceman was an easy worker to have around. He was on time and made sure he had everything he needed, so when he came in he wouldn't be going in and out. He cleaned up the sawdust from the drilling and our stove works great. We do feel a little over charged for the little amount of work that he did do and the short amount of time that he had it done in.

Everything went smooth with this job. They did very good and they were very nice. They completed the job when they said they were going to and they left no mess behind at all. Everything is working good and I am very pleased with it all. As far as pricing, my wife handled that so I can not even give you a ruff estimate. She was not whiny or complaining so I am assuming it was right in her range of cheap. I would be glad to have them back again.

It took them almost a whole day to get the water line installed. It no longer leaks, and our water bills have gone down quite a bit. I do wish they would have worked a little faster on getting it installed, but overall, they did a really good job.

We replaced the disposal ourselves, but the PVC fittings under the sink were builder's grade, snap-ons, and we weren't comfortable with their solidity. We couldn't get the hose on the disposal as tight as we wanted, and sure enough, when we ran the dishwasher it popped off and the P trap came loose. The tech replaced the PVC with threaded fittings, all in less than an hour. We got the senior discount, the tech was prompt and courteous, and we were very pleased.
