I was given the cost upfront once the tech accessed the problem which I agreed to. Once the work begin and testing of the repair the problem was not solved. In order to repair the problem the cost doubled. I agreed I had no choice. I now disagree and would have preferred a complete evaluation before starting the work. The tech was very nice but the method of estimating the project is unacceptable. Side note there was a few pieces of trust left in the yard.

Got there on time and the front office was always in contact with me before, during and after the work project.

Originally, the appointment was schedule for the afternoon. They accommodated my emergency and sent the first crew that came available to fix my leak.

I hired them to install a new pressure relief valve for my sprinkler system. They quoted price for a new valve + labor. They actually used some new parts and some used parts from my old valve. I thought all parts should have been new. Their labor charge amounted to in excess of $200 for actual labor time of about 15 minutes. I realize they want to recoup charge for time in transit, etc., but this still seems a bit pricey. If you use them, I would recommend getting an itemized breakdown of charges, rather than an all-in-one lump sum price.

We got three bids and 1-800-PLUMBER was the low cost bidder by a significant amount. They replaced two gas water heaters and installed a hot water recirculating loop. Service was prompt and professional. The installation was neatly done. I recommend 1-800-PLUMBER for similar work.
