Buckles has a great customer service and quick turnaround. I called on a Friday morning and they had someone out by Friday afternoon. Would absolutely get more work done by them.

We’re absolutely thrilled with the work Buckies (Joe) did on our home! From start to finish, they were incredible to work with—so professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we loved the final result. Overall, a good experience with Buckies and Joe Gonzales. Joe is very good at pointing out what needs to be done but won’t push you past what you want and don’t want. He is very receptive to any changes. I am very happy with the work to my beautiful old home. Will hire again for future projects.

I would like to do a review for Buckies home repair they responded to me very quickly and they even came out to my home and gave me a estimate for much it would cost me to repair my home due to damages caused by Hurricane Beryl. The contractor who came out took his time looking at all the damages and explained to me why the damages took place and what it would take to replace parts of the roof and flooring that sustained water and wind damage due to the hurricane. He gave me a fair price to get everything repaired so my home could be liveable again. Thank you! I really appreciate the attention to detail and the prompt response they gave my call. I have to say this review truly saddens me to make. The biggest mistake I made was trusting Joe and his wife Kristina Gonzales over and over. We started with painting the interior of the house, this project went well so we added kitchen painting, countertops, sink, and removal of pillars (of which Joe said were not structurally significant, but later learned they were), along with tub removal, tile work and new counter in a bathroom. The job began to slow significantly, and Joe had one person on the job sometimes not for a week at a time, and then sporadically. I live out of state, and had thought the job was going well and based on promises to get it done quickly, so added work in the master bath. We started work the beginning of April, and parted ways mid June. I accrued costs for damaged floors, (will have to be replaced) that were not covered during painting of kitchen cabinets, a replacement tub that was too big for the bathroom, tile work that was poorly done, reinforcement for pillars that were taken out, a kitchen sink that was too big, bathroom countertops cut too large for the sink ,,,,, For some reason, if one of Joe's people makes a mistake, or if Joe makes a mistake, he will expect you to pay for it. HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS HAPPENING ON THE JOB, BECAUSE HE WAS NOT THERE. I had to push to get him to go to the house, because he would argue with me when I voiced concerns. $35,000 later, we have hired another crew who are helping to fix this mess. Also paid $2,000 to have floors repaired from paint, they look worse now. Joe said he would replace the floors but I would need to pay for the materials. Also gave Joe $2,000 because he said he wasn't making anything on the job, with a promise he would be on site to make sure it was finished. Another promise not kept.

Joe from Buckies Construction was wonderful when it came to redoing my bathroom and painting my home. They were knowledgeable, asked multiple questions about what I wanted, and made sure to give me updates throughout the entirety of my project. Kristina, his wife, was very thoughtful and supportive about the design I wanted, and she helped me with the paint color that I wanted for the cabinets in my restroom. I was very grateful for her advice, and overall will be calling them again for my next project. Their workers were also extremely thorough, and I felt comfortable with everybody.

These guys did a phenomenal job. I got an amazing cedar fence 215ft looks absolutely beautiful and even put a free protection coat over it for free. And painted my both bathrooms and dining room. Joe is the guy he came recommended from my parents who had a deck and patio cover done.

I have to give a huge shoutout to Buckies Construction, and especially Joe! Working with him has been an absolute breeze. Joe's been back to my home a bunch of times for different jobs, and every time, he knocks it out of the park. Highly recommend!
