Description of Work: They were really quick to respond and came out to show me what products they had. The quote too followed close in heels to the visit. Unfortunately, we didn't like any of the products they had and when I contacted them about it, they were happy to give me some more links online where I could see more options. Again, there was still nothing we liked and as much as we like to go ahead and work with Accent Windows, we just couldn't find anything that fits our personal taste. Hopefully, we get to work with them in the future.

Description of Work: Everything went very well. Accent Blinds was quick to contact me initially, came to measure on the date and time we established, and then installed the completed blinds without a hitch. Everyone I dealt with (office staff, designer who measured, installer) was very pleasant. I have seen faux wood blinds that look more "woody", but these are fine for the price and certainly an improvement over the 1980s miniblinds I had previously. I will definitely call Accent Blinds when it's time to replace the upstairs blinds.

Description of Work: My only complaint is the ad quoted how many blinds and total square footage but failed to mention that windows wider than X were counted as 2 blinds. I found that out when they did the quote. End result is they look good and they cleaned up after themselves. It just cost more than I was expecting, still it was my decision and with the house already having a contract for sale I opted to go with them anyway.

+ 1 moreI looked high and low for an outfit that would make my curtains from fabric I had bought online. Most of the outfits are "turnkey", meaning they only provide full service, and the fabric must be purchased from them. One of these companies was kind enough to refer me to Joseph Tharp's workroom (aka Accent Windows). I worked with both Kim (the receptionist) and Joseph (the designer). They were able to provide exactly what I wanted and at a very reasonable price. Joseph came out to install the drapes. He was punctual, friendly, and did a fast and efficient job of installation, including a very thorough steaming. I highly recommend!
Description of Work: Sewed window panels from previously purchased fabric, installed grommets on panels, installed panels on a rod provided by Accent Windows.

The office staff of Accent Windows is wonderful to work with and for that reason, I have recommended this company to several of my friends. This finished product far outweighs any problem we encountered.

We got several quotes and Accent Windows had the best price for the best quality of shutters. Joseph showed up when he said he would, the shutters were ordered and they came in and were installed in a timely matter as promised. He and his assistant are very nice and professional. I have referred Accent Windows to other people and will use him again to put shutters on the rest of my windows. Accent Windows is an excellent company and I highly recommend them!!

Description of Work: I had been wanting to get wooden shutters for my home for a long time. I decided that I would get three quotes. I got Accent Windows' name from a neighbor who had gotten custom draperies from them and had been very happy. I met with all three of the companies but ultimately decided to go with Accent because they had a strong knowledge of their prodcuts. Their price was in the middle of the other two I received, but felt the most comfortable with them. One of my additional concerns was that I wanted to get the shutters installed before the holidays...they said they would do their best to have them in by that time. I received my new shutters 5 days before Christmas, and am very happy with the quality and look of them. The whole experience was great from start to finish! I will be calling them back in the Spring to order some draperies as well! I highly recommend them to anyone!

I paid for the install. The next day they called and requested a time for the install- It was just that quick!!! Professionaly done with GREAT results- I suggest JOE COOL to everyone interested in window coverings/treatments!!

We called them and they gave us a courtesy call when they would be coming out to measure and when we placed the order we were told it would take 7-10 business days for install, however they were out in days installing the screens. Talk about FAST! We love the screens and will be looking at purchasing other products they offer for windows in the future.

We ordered the blinds for approx 10 windows and the lady told me about how long it would take to get them in and was spot on, when they did arrive the installer came out and was very courteous and did the install in no time, would def recommend them again and def. use them again!

+ 0 moreWe cannot recommend them. There were several repeat visits to remeasure the windows and it took a long time. In the end the job was not satisfactory. They got the measurements wrong initially and a second person came out to measure. They got the measurements wrong again so the owner came out. They manufactured the screens and made the dimensions wrong which was not a small error; it was a large error. They had to manufacture that screen again and the replacement screen was wrong. They were probably more expensive than most; they were on the high side of quotes that we got. They did arrive when they said they would come.
