Bob's Plumbing & Heating

I tried to voice my concerns of the possibility of growing mold under my house after the plumbers hit the city main water line and I had an entire river flowing under my home. The office lady was rude, told me that's not how you get mold and told me I'd have to take it up with the guys and then hung up on me. The plumbers themselves handled the situation poorly, seemed disconcerned. I am left with a huge mess to clean up and they demanded payment before the job was complete. 100% would not recommend... Very unprofessional!

We had a leak under the kitchen in the crawlspace of our house. This is covered through our service with American Home Shield. Bob's Plumbing was dispatched and said the water would need to dry up before they could find and repair the leak. We agreed and did not use the kitchen sink for almost two months. In the meantime to speed up the drying up process, my husband removed all the standing water himself. When he finished removing the water, he found the leak which was a very easy fix. We waited until the first part of June to put in another service call. Bob's Plumbing refused to come back and then said the crawlspace was wet and covered with mold without even coming to look. He is contracted with American Home Shield and American Home Shield had to send out another plumber from out of town who did the repair without question. He did say that there was a small patch of mold which was insignificant. It took him maybe 5 minutes to do the repair. To help make up for our inconvenience, American Home Shield waived the service call for the out of town plumber.

City called to say we had a leak and it was bad. We had an outside faucet freeze and break just behind the concrete footing under the house. Bob crawled under the house, replaced the line from the main to the outside faucet and then replace the outside faucet in freezing wet tempratures. Wouldn't have wished that on anyone but he did it in short order and never complained and had us lay down towels so not to ruin our carpet. We greatly appreciate Bob!!
