Description of Work: I dropped off my my MTD YARD MACHINE on 03/08/13 with a long list of repairs to complete. Billy really impressed me with his knowledge and his experience of working on all types of lawnmowers. He has owned and operated that shop for over 10 years now and he is the only employee as well as the owner. He promised to have it ready the following Monday (03/11/13) which surprised me as he was working on two other riding mowers already ahead of me at the time. He completed all the repairs which included levelling the deck, changing the oil, replacing the air filter and pre- filter, changing both cutting blades, fixing a flat rear tire and most importantly replacing a bent PTO bar which prevented the lawnmower from starting with the key like it was supposed to. He put a brand new PTO bar on it which now causes it to start every time like it is supposed to. He even took the extra time to hand clean all the dirt out of the engine that had gotten past the dirty air filter and did not charge me anything extra for that. He completed everything on time and charged me less than I was expecting to pay for all that much work. He is the only lawnmower repair shop I will do business with in the future! Thanks again Billy for doing such a wonderful job!

 + -1 moreWe were ready to cut our winter firewood but could not get the engine to run. I called one small repair shop who said they could look at it in 3 weeks. I called the Lawnmower Shop and the young man who answered the phone was very courteous and said he could get to it that afternoon. When we arrived at his shop it was clean and neat. I saw a dog bowl with food in it and asked him where his dog was. He said he fed the neighborhood stray. You have to love a guy like that. He called the next day to say our splitter was ready. It started on the first pull. He charged us $40.00. He said he had not owned the business very long and had bought it from his employer.
Description of Work: Carburetor cleaned on a small Honda engine.
