Description of Work: Air conditioning repair. Change some components in the outside box, changed a burnt wire and gave it a nice bath.

 + -1 moreOverall it was a bad experience since the hotter temperatures are beginning. If he did not want to do the work he should have called. Lousy service.
Description of Work: Called the company to have them come look at a heat pump that was not working. He said he would be here on Saturday afternoon, but did not come because he said he loaned his truck to his son to help a friend move so he came the next day. He diagnosed the problem and left it up to me to get the part needed taken care of since it was under warranty. I found the part at the local AC/Heat supply company but he was going to have to go get it since you have to have a contractor license. He assured me he would go get it Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning and would be come fix the unit the follow Thursday afternoon. He never showed and did not return my call. He wasted a lot of our time.

Description of Work: A part on the heater broke, the igniter-something-or-other.

 + -1 moreI was afraid either needed a new unit or at least parts and freon. The workman came very promptly, examined the unit, and said it was merely frozen. He removed a hard to get to pipe, unfroze the unit, cleaned the whole thing, and even cleaned the outside unit. The cost was less than the estimate. Service was quick, friendly, and very reasonable. The workman was extremely honest. This is my air condition company and for any and all future needs; they earned an A+.
Description of Work: Took out a hard to reach pipe and applied something to unfreeze air conditioner.

 + -1 moreHe said I didn't need the freon, and the only problem was a very dirty coil, which was behind a duct pipe he had to remove. The unit, which was freezing up every time it came on, works perfectly now. This is a company owned by a man and his son. He was personable, honest, and very good at what he did. He charged me $70 for the whole thing, and all the other companies I called wanted up to $100 an hour (1 hour minimum!) just to come out and look. I was absolutely delighted with the service and a fair price.
Description of Work: Westside came within 1 hour of the time I called. He did a thorough inside and outside examination of my central air unit. He cleaned the outside unit, and cleaned the coil on the inside unit, which wasn't easy to get to. He examined the freon levels, checked the filters, and other 'mystery parts.'
