Midland location: EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not trust your flooring needs to be handled well. The sales person, Bunni and her manager are all about a quick sale and getting your money. They do not care about whether the job is done right and do not take the time to make sure you are actually purchasing what it will take to properly complete the job. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a flooring sales crew. Buyer beware before even going to them to comparison shop. The level of incompetence is astounding, given what information was left out of the buying process, which was only surpassed by their unwillingness to do to right by the customer. I am sorry that Paul Evans’ name is attached to this business because apparently he no longer owns it, and it shows.

Paul Evans requires 100% down before starting services. This should tell you everything. Beware, once they have your money, they have little incentive to complete the job in a timely manner and do a great job. First, they dumped a big pile of tile in my alley and also filled up residential dumpsters with all their tile. Midland manager couldn't have cared less that I was cleaning up their mess after city officials came out to my house. After two months and multiple mistakes on their part, they finally finished a simple floor tile and back-splash job. It was so bad, it was almost funny. I'm guessing they missed ten appointment times and had to order more back-splash twice. Jeff, the overall manager out of Odessa said all the right things, but it only got worse. The manager in Midland, in my opinion, needs to do some other job or get help. OMG

We replaced our existing carpet with 300 square feet of new carpet and 1250 square feet of vinyl plank wood. The person that came over to measure our house was 3 hours late. When he did arrive, he measured using a strip ruler and writing them down on a piece of paper. Other companies that came used laser measurements and a spreadsheet all the way up to a diagram of our house with layouts. We ended up purchasing 110% of the carpet and 115% of vinyl to help with the waste factor, cutting, and hallways etc. Installation took 4 days and was not even done after 4 days because they were SHORT on the vinyl, in which I had to purchase 2 more boxes, wait a week, then have them install it. NONE OF THE INSTALLERS spoke English, could communicate English, or even help me to understand what was going on. Twice I had to have someone from the store drive down, translate what they were telling me, and negotiate a new price. Some of the problem was they didn't know which way to install the shoe molds, but all work came to a stop for 3 hours because they couldn't tell me. 4 months in, our vinyl is all warped and bounces in may areas of our living room. And no, we did not spill water on it, have staining, or anything that would cause the warping. The transitions looks like crap, large caps under them, exposed glue, carpet coming off of the nail hooks. Now they are unwilling to return phone calls or even come to view the work themselves. My recommendation is to go to Mid-Tex of Midland, sure they cost 125% more than the three other stores in Midland / Odessa, but at least you will not be ripped off the same way that Paul Evans rips everyone else off. The savings on material and labor did not justify the time overruns, the discourtesy, the lack of communication, and the horrible product we now have as a result of their poor installations. Avoid at ALL costs!!!
