+ 0 moreAfter paying him $6,000 for the services he was going to do. He started to paint the room inside while doing the fence outside as well. He was about half way finished with the fence when I noticed that the fence posts were all off level. I told him that this was unacceptable and he cussed at me and then packed up all of the materials that I paid for and drove away. He has never returned to finish the job and I have had to hire another company to complete the work.
Description of Work: I hired him to build a fence and paint one room in my home.

+ 2 moreOverall, the projects we have hired Travis and his team for have been better than expected, and absolutely worth every single penny spent. We intend to hire him again next year for tiling, painting a hall way and living room. I have no doubt the projects will be performed to perfection. The team is punctual, works on the project without inconvenience to the household, brings the projects in on time, and on budget. Travis provides all types of interior and exterior construction/remodel work, including plumbing and roofing. We will use Travis again for anything we do around the house, without exception.
Description of Work: Travis did a major construction/drywall project in our home - taking down a wall to open up a doorway into a dining room, and the work was excellent. He brought the project in on time, and less than budget ($900). We used Jacobs again with a bathroom remodel, laying Spanish tile on the floor, and painting and re-caulking. His employees again, brought the project in exactly as predicted, and returned to the house twice for some "finishing touches" - the team felt that the flooring was lacking something, and they put down new trim all the way around the floor, and took the time to purchase a new toilet and install without going over budget $600 labor and materials.
