I am currently halfway through the remodel. One bathroom is completely finished and he has recently demolished my master bath. The completed bathroom is beautiful! Mr Hughes is easy to work with and he makes sure each step is completed perfectly. He never has had any “surprise” expenses which I have encountered with other contractors. I would highly recommend him!

They were here August eighth of 2015 to do some gutter repair. It was fine. If something wasn't right he would get right on the contractors and have them make it right. He was hands on.

He came to give me an estimate and suggested it was an insurance claim, so I called. Sure enough, insurance paid the majority of the expense! He was sometimes a little slow responding for requests, but the work was well done and finished quickly.
Description of Work: Repaired back porch with new beam. Cover posts and added stand off mounts. Installed metal soffet under patio. Installed new 2 tab shingles with 2 new turtle cuts.

You would think that if he brags about advertising on Angie's List, he would treat people better.
Description of Work: I spoke to Mr Hughes making an appointment at my house to give me an estimate on damage from an ice storm. Adter showing him the different locations of damage, he told me he would be going out of town the next day on another job but he would email me with an estimate. It has been almost two weeks and I have yet to receive anything from him --- not even a phone call to let me know he wasn't interested. Totally disappointed in his professional respect for potential clients.

After lunch turned out to be 6pm when he came to measure and look at the job. He did not respond to emails sent to the address on his business card. I called him after waiting on an estimate for a week, finally got one 3 days later. I have decided that this is a typical response for this over-heated oil boom area. Most contractors will not go to the trouble to actually make an estimate if you don't stay after them.

Description of Work: I called the company and left a voicemail. I received a call back quickly. We set up a time. He called me a couple of hours before he was scheduled to arrive and informed me he was going to be late. He gave me an approximate time and he was there on time and didn't waste anytime getting the job done.

I talked with him and he told me when he gets off at 5 pm he would come by and give me an estimate. He did come by as said and was very professional and gave me different ideas and ways to go about my addition. We agreed and he is going to figure up the cost and get back with me.

It went great. This is a time in the Midland/Odessa area where it is tough getting contractors to even answer the phone. Ron answered the phone every time I needed to call him. He kept me updated as the process went on. He had no issue calling me qith any questions.

Very well. Being 300 miles away he kept me informed. Met with me as scheduled. Started when he said he would finish early, cleaned up the job site very well, excellent quality on the work and no extra costs.
Description of Work: Job 1: Repaired termite damage, pulled up carpet & wooden floor deck, repaired sill plate, some floor joists, some wall studs, put new boards in, re-stretched carpet, replaced drywall & baseboards and repainted. Job 2: Built block foundation under exterior hot heater enclosure.
