I needed last minute cleaning of the house we were moving into. They were great over the phone and for setting up the appointment! However, they arrived an hour late and then rushed to "deep clean" the house. When I asked for something to be cleaned (for example, the window sills) in all the rooms, they would quickly clean it in the room I was in, but not in the others. Underneath the fridge, there was a THICK build up of dirt and grime from the previous owners. I had mentioned this in the set up calls and was assured this would not be a problem. I had to ask them to clean it three times once they were here and he gave up pretty quickly saying it couldn't be done. Later, I got it cleaned up by myself in 30 minutes. They did a good enough job (the house had been pretty dirty!) - although I found myself cleaning things that in my opinion should have been cleaned by them once they left and for the next week. When they left, I was ready to pay but was told they would charge the card on file. I received an invoice 4 days later - not only was I overcharged for hours worked but I was also overcharged for the cost per hour - for a total of $138 overcharged. I called immediately and was told they would send a corrected invoice and I would see money in my account (including the $50 deposit they said they had already returned) by the end of the week. When I had yet to receive the invoice or the money I called again, speaking to someone else who told me it takes 6-8 weeks for the money to return to my account. I finally spoke to the manager, Damon, who told me that he would send the check the next week. A month later, when I still hadn't received it, I called again, and was told that the check was going in the mail the next day. A week later, I still haven't gotten a check. Every time I have called, there has not only been excuse after excuse as to why someone can't assist me, they are rude and very unprofessional on the phone - not providing their name or even stating "Blue Ribbon Maids". All in all, this has been a six month ordeal - having had my services done in late May. I will never use them again nor will I ever recommend Blue Ribbon Maids to anyone.
